This workshop has been the most challenging workshop so far for me. I've enjoyed learning more about Python in this workshop. Matt's lessons have been clear and easy to understand. Thanks to these lessons I've come to understand Python much more.

This was a truly enjoyable and insightful challenge. I loved combining creativity with coding while learning how to build a responsive, theme-switching landing page from scratch. Through the SheCodes Plus Add-on course, I have learned how to build a functional world clock application using JavaScript. I enjoyed being able to play while learning. In most cases I took it a step further than what I should have with the challenges, but I enjoyed them non the less. For a beginner level with the most fundamental knowledge, this is a decent course. Can't say anything about if it's worth investing, since I'm on a full scholarship, but if you have the means to buy it, I say do it.

Well i really enjoyed SheCodes Plus it was a bit challenging here and there , but it was all worth it at the end nothing brings me Joy other than seeing the thing i had been struggling with come together and of course couldn't do it without God . I really appreciate the straightforward, hands-on approach of this course. I’ve really enjoyed building the project, and the challenges were super helpful in learning the basics. It’s been a great start to my coding journey.

Creating this project was a fun and rewarding experience that combined creativity with the power of AI. One of the most interesting parts of the process was learning how specific the prompt and context needed to be. The more clearly I defined the tone, style, and purpose (e.g. "short, catchy names that could work as .com domains"), the better and more creative the results became. I also learned how to format and display AI-generated responses dynamically using basic JavaScript and HTML elements. Overall, this project taught me not only how to work with AI and APIs but also the clarity and structure when designing for creativity.

SheCodes Python Basics is one of the main workshops that I've been really looking forward to starting, and I've thoroughly enjoyed each week of learning. I'm excited to continue working with Python in the next 2 workshops.

SheCodes is a great program that allows its students to learn and experiment with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as much or as little as they would like while providing great resources through the instructional videos and solution videos, Slack, and teaching how to better utilize google. I appreciate that we were challenged to figure out different elements, functions, and properties in each challenge, and then given a solution at the end, that is a very helpful way for me to learn

Learning about the basics of python was interesting! Its similiar in javascript in many ways, so it was easy to understand

Built the website from scratch without using Bootstrap. It was tough at times, but I learned a lot and the result was worth it!!!

I highly recommend this course, especially for beginners. It is project-based so students can solidify what they learnt through practice. It also takes time to make sure we understand the basics so we can have a solid foundation for future upgrades on our journey in the tech industry.

There are so many resources to use and great examples to help you understand how to apply what you are learning. The challenges and projects are both fun and engaging. I often lose track of time while I'm working through them. There are also many ways to get help or talk to others for advice. Even though it's online, I never feel like I'm doing it alone. It makes me feel like a career change at any age is not only possible, but exciting.

Rebuilding the weather app in Python this time has been great for consolidating my learning, and building my confidence. Matt's approach makes the learning and challenges so much easier to understand than other ways I've tried to learn to code.

This lesson helped me understand how front-end and backend systems connect. It also improved my confidence in working with external APIs and interpreting JSON data. I especially enjoyed seeing my project come to life, and it felt amazing to see the live temperature, city, and weather description update in real time. This was good revision of Pythons Basics as well as a chance to expand on the concepts we've been learning. I'll never use Excel again!

The journey to learning how to code as a beginner is not easy as first, especially if you are not familiar with any coding languages but with the help from the SheCodes team and Matt Delac it becomes easier as time goes by. Coding teaches you patience and to pay attention to detail. As challenging as it was at first, I really enjoyed every moment of it. What I enjoyed most is how fun and interesting JavaScript is.

The SheCodes Responsive Add-on was a great opportunity to build on what I had already learned. This workshop focused on more advanced responsive development using pure CSS and embeds, which helped me deepen my understanding of layout techniques without relying on Bootstrap. It was a valuable challenge and helped me feel more confident in writing clean, responsive code from scratch.
