This add-on was really cool. I continue to be amazed at the websites we build. I love that we actively apply what we've learned through a series of practical exercises. From fluid grids to flexible images, media queries to breakpoints, each aspect of responsive design was thoroughly explored, leaving no stone unturned.
The goal I had was to gain as much knowledge and insights about coding and the different elements used to create a code and through out this course I was able to gain that knowledge and insight. It was an enjoyable and amazing experience. I learnt so many useful skills that makes developing a website much easier and simple. I personally cannot wait to learn more.😊

When you see the quality of the results you produce, you then understand how impactful the learning structure at SheCodes is. Wow! This was my first time integrating AI into an application and it was truly a great learning experience. The project was fun to build and I enjoyed this one the most so far. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get creative in the digital space.
This project has been great fun! I struggled a little bit in the first 4 weeks but the second half of the course I flew through in just a couple of days. I had so much fun doing this course and being able to play around with the design myself. Note to self I need to come up with some way better design ideas for the next project but I had fun playing with the colour palettes etc. I learnt so many new things in this project and I cant wait to take them into the next project.
I was worried I wouldn’t be able to follow. But Matt Delac was great at explaining how to code in each video. Shecodes is really the best way to learn basic coding.

I have always wondered how coding is, and I must say, it is amazing. I have had such an amazing time with completing the homeworks and a project. I learnt so much.
This add-on gave me a bit more practise in using my coding skills. I feel this practise helped me a lot despite getting stuck a lot. I did truly got stuck on nearly every class, but having the support I had I realized that what made me stuck helping me improve more on my code and skills. This add-on forced me to venture out outside of the course to find my solutions when i'm stuck, and that is what life is, finding solutions in different places so I am glad to have gotten the practise I did. This is a huge mental game, it takes a lot to continue when you feel you have made many mistakes or when you feel you just might not be a good enough coder, but the satisfaction and feeling of getting to the end & finally learning that piece you were stuck on... can't beat that feeling. My biggest recommendation that I can give to others is no matter what, try your best, search on google, ask chatGPT, ask AI Athena and if you feel you haven't been able to figure it out, 100% ask the support group and you will always get help and shows where you need to improve your code. Even if it means you take a break and pick up your code the next day, don't overwork yourself, you will get there.
If you told me before that coding could be so easy, I wouldn't have believed you! Matt is an excellent teacher who makes it so easy to understand and to get started with coding. It's been a fun ride to learn the basics of coding and I can wait to learn more!

I’ve always been interested in computers since a very young age. During my undergraduate I had introduction to computer programming as one of my modules. In this module you only learn the basics of computers, but I must say this was one of my favourite modules. Learning about Delac Foundation on Tik tok recently, it gave me greater hope that actually I now learn about coding. I can boost the interest and curiosity that’s always been there.

SheCodes Plus was a a bit challenging for me at first but became such a rewarding experience. I learned alot, especially a more in depth knowledge in JS. I feel more confident with JS functions and better grasp its purposes. I enjoyed learning about API integration, Git, GitHub and Netlify and how they make a web application functional :) All very intriguing, I am looking forward to the next courses.

I wanted to share with you a personal experience that includes the ups and downs of learning to code, a trip filled with hardship, tenacity, and inspiration at the end. The world of coding appeared intimidating to me when I initially started down this route because it was full of complicated algorithms and strange vocabulary. Every code line felt like a piece of a huge, complex mosaic, and I frequently struggled with self-doubt and irritation. But in the midst of the fight, I realized something important: resilience's beauty. I discovered that growth frequently results from uncomfortable situations, and I learnt to enjoy the process with every error message and setback. Therefore, I encourage everyone who is considering learning to code, regardless of experience level, to welcome the challenge because it is only through hardship that we actually mature. Keep in mind that every line of code you write is an evidence of your tenacity and resolve, and that the opportunities are endless if you persevere.
I have had a great time with SheCodes Basics! As a total novice, I am now obsessed with learning how to code. I had attempted various online classes in the past, but I quickly lost interest, became frustrated, and became bored, so I stopped soon after I started. Learning was enjoyable and I was able to set my own speed with SheCodes.

The SheCodes Plus workshop was a bit more advanced and challenging compared to Basics. However, the instructor, did an exceptional job of breaking down complex concepts into digestible chunks, making the learning process enjoyable and accessible. The support provided by the SheCodes team throughout the workshop was outstanding. Whenever I encountered challenges, they were quick to respond and offer guidance, ensuring that I stayed on track. One of the highlights of the workshop was the final project, where I had the opportunity to apply everything I learned to create a real-world web application. This project not only allowed me to showcase my newly acquired skills but also boosted my confidence as a developer.

At first, I found the React class to be quite challenging, to the point where I almost considered quitting. Despite not fully grasping every concept immediately, I am incredibly grateful that I persevered through the difficulty because it was undeniably worth it. The challenges I faced throughout the course ultimately made me a stronger developer, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have learned and grown through the SheCodes React class.
The challenges are hard but trust me when i say learning coding with SheCodes is the best they make learning fun for you by making you understand and letting you try and correcting you at the end .
