I loved learning about changing backgrounds and transitions. The basic add-on was a great addition.
At the beginning of my adult life, I had contact with IT and some very basic programming languages, but life took me on other direction, and I went to project management, procurement, customer support but I always wanted to have the chance to know more about coding. Maybe itβs the famous middle-life crises but as I approach halfway through my life, I want to know more about coding. I saw the Shecodes workshop, and I felt this is it. The classes were great, we have a lot of support material, and the team is responsive in Slack. Is never too late to learn and is never to late to do something we really want and love.

I was very curious how to build a project that would include an AI text generator, and I'm glad I attended this workshop! This workshop has been one of the most fun modules. I was entertained the whole time and learned a lot about AI. I really enjoyed building my final project, and I heard from Matt that there is always something to improve. The SheCodes Responsive Course is a great learning experience. The pace is good, content is interesting. What I learnt is that if one solution does not work, try another and another, until we found something we like. It is always trials and errors. Details are very important. Rome is not built in 1 second, it takes many rounds of tinkering. I enjoy the progress of creating beautiful sites!!!

Responsive websites always felt like a really daunting piece of code to learn and understand. The way SheCodes created the course helped me to follow along easily. I was also able to do a bit of my own research to figure a few things out.

It's over and I have mixed feelings. SheCodes has taught me so many things over the last few months. I'm very happy and satisfied that I decided to embark on this journey. The next step is to continue: practicing, training, taking part in challenges, creating new apps and keeping up to date with new trends in the tech market. as a new beginner with no experience in coding, I finally enjoy Matts tutorials as it really helps me to get some hands on experience learning basics in HTML. My quick advised here learning HTML is also to do some research including reading some books in order to fully understand all the structures and elements in HTML including some tips in Coding.π More to learn for me here in SheCodes I will go till the end.
Don't give up! The first few lessons are jam packed with info, so find a quiet place and dive in! This workshop is easy to follow, with previous lessons available for reference. It is really satisfying to see how you fast you progress and learn, as you complete homework and the final project.
I was definitely nervous when it came to coding but I'm glad over the last 3 weeks, I had the opportunity to learn some basics. This was fun to learn and I have a new appreciation for websites!

I have enjoyed learning so far and I feel ready to move on to higher levels to achieve my set goals as a coder.
This was challenging but definitely fun to learn. It's only the beginning, coding requires practice and patience and this workshop was a good example of this. During this workshop I focused more on learning rather than styling because react is very useful but also very tricky, so I encourage other students to focus on understanding how the app works and practice and practice harder each time. Best workshop ever, very insightful and much valuable tutorship.
This was a big step up from SheCodes basic but it challenged me in a great way. I think the last week could have been improved as you could tell we were rushing through the content and mainly copying what Matt did. Overall, I felt this course was really worth it and I have learned a huge amount.

The past week has been quite tough for me as I could not give my full time to coding. As the course has become more challenging with advanced topics, making coding more complex. I am learning slowly as I am still getting confused on some parts. I believe I can overcome this with the help of informative class videos by Matt. Loved the real world applications and learning how I could use and apply my skills day-to-day.
The dictionary app project, in my opinion, fell short of exploring more comprehensive and challenging concepts that could have been beneficial for reinforcing advanced React skills. It seemed like a missed opportunity to delve deeper into the intricacies of React. On the positive side, the course did offer a platform to practice and consolidate the skills acquired in the initial React course. The incorporation of API fetching added a practical dimension to the learning experience, allowing us to implement real-world data into our projects. However, I believe there was untapped potential for a more sophisticated and multifaceted project that could have elevated the learning experience.
This is a great learning platform. I enjoyed every part of it and will always recommend it.

The plus course was highly challenging for me, especially being able to manipulate and understand how the APIs work, it was very challenging but interesting at the same time.
