Wow! What a journey this past 3 weeks ( which turned to be 4 weeks for me) has been. SheCodes has taught me a lot of concepts that I never knew. The classes and challenges were very enlightening and exceeded my expectations. Matt's expertise and passion for teaching made some of the complex concepts easy to grasp. I really appreciated the supportive learning environment where we got to ask questions on Slack and get assistance. The class equipped me with valuable knowledge and confidence to pursue my coding journey with enthusiasm and determination.

Honestly, the She Codes Plus workshop does get tricky, but if you give yourself enough time to practice over and over, You eventually master it, Matt's clips are so digestible and allow you to watch them on a lower speed. It's also important that when you seek a solution, google it first before you ask on Slack. I have learned so much.
This course was so much fun! Learning how to use Natural Language to full effect, to get the AI responses you want is a whole new skill and I look forward to developing this in the future. It was great to have free reign over the project to make something more tailored to my interests, and I think it is something I'll build on going forward. Fun but challenging Project! Learned a lot of new things and developed my first World Clock.
I have never taken any coding classes before SheCodes as I am a registered nurse, but after starting my hobby of building replica Star Wars droids I found it was useful to learn some basic coding. I started with some Arduino projects which I really enjoy so I was looking to learn some new computer languages. SheCode was fun and helpful by having homework that made me apply what I was learning with each lesson. I hope to keep on building what I learned in the basics course.

This was an excellent starter course for people with no prior coding experience. The training videos are easy enough to follow along and comprehensive. I personally really enjoyed the repetitious coding challenges put in to place to make sure I understood what I had learned and to help retain information. Matt did an excellent job instructing in this workshop, keeping me engaged with lessons being short and to the point.
I learned from this workshop from SheCodes how to make a table with HTML and CSS, how to add filters to images, how to insert working movie clips from other websites and how to place everything neat next to each other by using grids. I have added this all to my new built website and I think it looks awesome. π
SheCodes Basics has been a positive experience. It's a great crash course on the basics of coding and you really get to learn all kinds of new terms. It can be a bit confusing at times, but there is a great community of Slacks for anyone who is confused.

I'm here before you today, permanently altered by the experience of learning React! I was recently immersed in the land of spaghetti code. JavaScript felt like a tangled mess, and creating user interfaces was a continual challenge. Updates often had unforeseen implications, and debugging felt like a guessing game. Then I discovered React,Β It wasn't a walk in the park but a new way of building web applications unfolded before me. React has empowered me to create a more enjoyable development experience and deliver better web applications. It was a great challenging experience.

React was the most challenging of the workshops for me. However, instructor Matt did a great job of explaining the concepts. He definitely has a gift for teaching! The project was a valuable tool for reinforcing the concepts. It is great to have a product to showcase what I learned.
I loved the workshop. I really enjoyed learning the API Intergrations even though it was challenging , but it was fun especially after solving some tasks.

I have always wanted to learn how to code. Fortunately for me, I Came across SheCodes on Tiktok. The sign-up process was relatively easy and they took about a week to respond. I enjoyed the Basics workshop so much. Matt made everything so easy to understand and apply.
