Taking the SheCodes Python Basics course was a great experience! My favorite part was learning how to work with APIs, explore external packages, and build functions, especially when I got to create the backend of my very own weather app. The course made Python feel approachable and fun, and I walked away with skills I can actually use. I really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus AI workshop. The content was clear, engaging and practical. It provided me with a strong foundation and confidence to apply AI concepts in real projects. Learning how to use AI will be hugely beneficial as AI becomes more and more prevalent.

I absolutely loved doing the SheCodes course! I’ll admit, juggling the deadlines with everyday life was a bit of a challenge, but it was totally worth it. I’ve done IT in school and a few short courses, but never finished my degree — this course, however, was the perfect mix of fun, informative, and easy to follow. The SheCodes website is super user-friendly, and Matt has a great way of keeping your attention and making each lesson enjoyable to learn.

Really great intro to coding - now I want to learn more!

SheCodes Basics has helped me become competent with the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This has put me in a good position before starting a new career, and I now feel prepared for further learning.

The SheCodes basics add-on project helped me learn how to apply CSS grids and transformations. I faced challenges, particularly on the Css grid and changing the theme to they way i liked, but i definitely overcome these challanges.Overall, I'm proud of my achievement and would recommend this project to others looking into deepening their understanding of HTML,CSS and Javascript.

The workshop provided a fantastic foundation in web development, starting from the very basics to more advanced concepts. Creating this project helped me realize how powerful code can be in expressing the things I love and believe in. It's been a great learning experience.

As I progress through the SheCodes Workshops, I’ve come to realize just how much I enjoy coding. I think it was pretty easy to follow, although I would've liked more thorough explanations on how and why things are like they, but I understand this is a basics bootcamp so it might be just that. I also liked the simplicity of the projects that encompassed everything we learned.

Challenging but overall learning a ton.

Learning React was a rollercoaster but a valuable one. I managed to confuse myself multiple times but referring back to Matt's videos always helped. Real sense of achievement here and I think with more practice, React could be a game changer!

It was very interesting and exciting to learn new features with CSS. It's challenging but in a good way. I enjoyed every moment of it!

It was a bit challenging but i pushed through and learned a lot

She Code gave me more than just technical skills it gave me confidence, community, and clarity. As a woman in tech, I often felt like I had to work twice as hard to be seen, but through She Code's mentorship and hands-on learning approach, I found my voice and my place. It empowered me to believe that coding isn’t just for a select few it’s for all of us, especially women. I now dream bigger and build bolder, knowing I’m supported by a network of amazing women in STEM. Thank you, She Code, for showing me that I belong in tech.

The first three weeks were amazing — I learned a lot and was genuinely looking forward to the basic add-on week. Every day, I engaged fully with the classes, and a question that had been lingering in the back of my mind was finally answered: "Is this all we can do with CSS?" Now I understand that those initial weeks were just to build a strong foundation. With that groundwork in place, we’re now diving into more advanced and exciting possibilities — and it’s truly thrilling. I find myself wanting to learn even more!

Wow, this was the most fun I’ve had learning in a long time. I come from an HR background, where we tend to live in the black and white. But coding? I’m loving it, because gray is more than okay. There are so many ways to solve a problem and it gives creative minds the freedom to think outside the box. Little me, who used to code her MySpace page, would be extremely proud that we came back to this passion.

This course created a fire in me to learn code in all shapes and forms - I dream about code and I love each lessons moment! I have learned so much in a short space of time, I would absolutely recommend this course and would love to do longer and more in-depth courses soon!

Learning a lot

I really enjoyed this add on, I was able to learn some things I tried to attempt earlier on and get more creative with my layouts. Im looking forward to starting SheCodes Plus next :).

I have really been enjoying SheCodes so far. I've learnt a lot in a short period of time. The workshops are self-paced, so you can adjust your schedule to them. You have small challenges within almost every lesson, which give you good practice ahead of the final project, and allow you to have momentum, so that you remember what you've been working on. I signed up for the Bootcamp, so I'm very excited about what's still ahead and to keep expanding my knowledge in the software development world.

Learning React was one of the most challenging parts of my coding journey so far — and also one of the most rewarding. At first, the logic behind components, state, and props felt overwhelming. I questioned whether I’d be able to understand it all. But step by step, it started making sense. I kept pushing, practicing, and slowly, things clicked. Seeing my app come to life with real-time data and interactive features gave me a huge sense of achievement. If you’re afraid to start learning React, I completely understand — I was too. But don’t let fear stop you. You don’t need to “get it all” from day one. Just start. Keep going. Trust the process. React will stretch your mind, but it will also empower you to build truly dynamic and professional web applications. And believe me — you’ll be so proud when it all works. 💪

Building this World Clock app helped me improve my JavaScript skills tremendously. I learned how to update content dynamically with setInterval and handle user input in real time. This was such a great introduction to working with external libraries, integrating live data, and deploying a responsive project!

Amazing! i got to learn so much from this workshop!

Shecodes showed me that coding isn't just for experts . It's for curious girls like me too . I'm 18 , and now I have built my first project and feel confident to keep learning. It's a great place to start , even if you know nothing.

Although, I think practice, practice, practice is going to get me to the place I want to be in, this course is super beneficial. Everything I am learning is delivered in small increments making it very digestible and easy to follow. I also appreciate how the final project was laid out step by step. I wasn't completely overwhelmed.

This Python AI Workshop was a fantastic learning experience. It helped me understand how to write clear, optimized prompts for more accurate and relevant AI API responses. The highlight was building a Python-based travel itinerary generator that used AI to suggest real-world activities, estimate costs and travel times, and include local weather using an API. I also learned how to handle JSON responses, format content with Markdown, and integrate multiple APIs into one smooth project. I’d definitely recommend this workshop to anyone wanting to combine Python with real-world AI applications.

I enjoyed working on the SheCodes Responsive Add-on project! It was a challenge at times, which made it all the more rewarding.
