Finally✨🥳 All this journey could only be possible with the excellent Instructor Matt Delac, Delac Foundation Africa, SheCodes team and my discipline. I know its just the beginning but this is definitely a great start. This is to encourage someone that Discipline is the way, i know its really hard to be consistent but look where it got me: two weeks ago i got my internship position as a Junior Front end Developer in a Startup Company here In Kenya. I wanted to share how much I enjoyed this Course. That was engaging, challenging, and extremely valuable for developing my skills. I am really appreciative that I had the chance to enrol in SheCodes. It was a fantastic experience that made learning the principles of coding interesting and enjoyable. I didn't have much expertise with coding before SheCodes. The idea of learning to code has always scared me, but SheCodes made it fun and simple. The instructors are constantly ready to assist you if you run into difficulties, and the lessons are easy to follow and well-paced. I adored the fact that SheCodes is a group of women who encourage and support one another. Throughout the programme, I made a tonne of new friends, and we all supported one another's development. I was able to create my own website and web application by the end of SheCodes. I couldn't have done it without SheCodes, and I was incredibly pleased of what I had achieved.

I just completed the basic front-end course, and I have to say it was a nice experience. The content was well-structured and easy to follow, even for someone with minimal prior knowledge in web development. I enjoyed coding with SheCodes! That's just it. I had loads of fun, some tears too because there were times my code wouldn't work and I'd be frustrated but soon, I'd be laughing through my tears at the silly mistake. I started the SheCodes Plus with so much euphoria and enthusiasm. Unlike the Basic, Plus proved to be more challenging, which is as it should be of course. I was suddenly struggling to meet deadlines since I also had a lot going on for me during the period. At some point, I was discouraged honestly. But I have a great Instructor! Along with his patient explanations, he kept encouraging. I'm grateful. The best of it is the team! Thank you SheCodes team! Even if we have hundred questions a day, you are ever ready to give fast replies. Even when it's a little mistake we couldn't see in our frenzy, you are very patient with us and ready to show us where we missed it. Please, do not stop at Basic so you don't miss out on all the fun. I chose SheCodes, or she chose me and I don't regret a minute of it. You wouldn't either!

I would highly recommend this course if you're wondering what is like to code or if you have a busy schedule but are eager to learn. To me, it was extremely useful and super fun! After trying so many frontend bootcamps and watching so many youtube videos, I believe that SheCodes has been the best. The instructor explains the concepts so well that in less than in a week you can do a lot. I really enjoyed this workshop. I have a learning disability and haven't been in school in years, so I was nervous I would have difficulty, however it was pretty simple and straight forward. I actually had a ton of fun creating the last project, even so that I finished super early and tried to add in extra things that were taught, and things I googled to figure out. It was really fun! I did have issues with how the videos would teach us one thing, but then the work you needed to submit asked you to do something that wasn't even taught to you yet. I also didn't quite understand why an entire workshop for teaching women to code is taught by a man. A woman instructor would be better, though I understand Matt is the creator and therefor he teaches it all. I would really like to continue with the other workshops, however they are unfortunately not something I can afford.

SheCodes Plus was more of a challenge for me but I figured it out and was able to create a weather app. The first time I started SheCodes Plus, it was very confusing and after redoing everything the second time it was fairly easy. I was able to learn API, GitHub, Bootstrap, and a little bit of hosting. Matt is a great teacher in explaining why we type a certain code and how it works! The instructors were always available to help with any questions I had. I'm excited to start the SheCodes Responsive!!

I was quite nervous to start this program since I have absolutely NO experience or knowledge in coding or software development. This program so was well organized and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I admire how organized were all the lessons. It was easy to follow the instructor & the written instructions whilst having lots of fun. Whenever I am learning something, the biggest obstacle is to overcome my resistance, if the course is boring. In this scenario, however I was very excited for each upcoming part.
