Incredible fun workshop - I learned quite a bit and am eager to continue and practice everything Matt teaches.

It was interesting and fun to learn basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Lessons are understandable, nicely explained and they make you look for some answers by yourself, which is very rewarding. I am looking forward to continue learning with SheCodes.

I definitely had a lot of fun while learning and creating React Dictionary App. A little bit sad it is already over 😔

I've taken a few online courses over the years, but it is safe to say that SheCodes tops them all by far. Matt is highly skilled at breaking down complex information into manageable and understandable chunks in a logical order that allows you to gradually build a solid foundation of knowledge, which is further reinforced by the demonstrations and examples provided in the lessons, and your own practice via the lesson challenges, homework and projects. As a visual and practical learner, these methods have helped me so so much, and I've learned and retained so much more than I was ever expecting. Matt has also managed what I previously believed was impossible - to make programming less scary (and fun)! Thanks again for this wonderful experience.

This workshop was educational and very fun to work with. Matt did a great job of showing us different elements and incorporating business use-cases that would be beneficial. Kudos to Matt and his team for developing a fun but informative way for women (especially busy working class females) to learn coding. This is a course that every female should pursue because not only are you armed with another skillset, but you will be in a network of smart females. My feedback on this course: I got value for my money, course was presented in a well written and sequential way. The course weekly assessments were of very high standard and the entire hands-on approach was what made this course suitable for females of every walks and background. I strongly recommend this coding course to every single females in every single country around the world!!!

Cool project! I wanted to create one function for all default cities, so I've been struggling a little. But, it was worth it, because I'm even more proud of myself right now 🙈😎. I also added a button to change a clock into dark theme ❤️. I had super fun, as always 🥰.

It was a very interesting and fun 2 weeks, there is so much that you can learn with every new lesson. The more I learn the more fun I am having with every lesson , Thank you Matt and SheCodes team .

I would highly recommend SheCodes. Not only is Matt a great teacher, but the fact that money from the workshops goes to fund the Delac Foundation to support women around the world is a bonus. Until now I have struggled with coding, it never seemed to 'click' with me. After being laid off from work the week before Christmas I decided to do something to boost my hireability. After completing this workshop I actually feel that I can code. It has been a major confidence boost and I look forward to continuing with more advanced SheCodes workshops.

The React Workshop is definitely testing my coding skills. It's fun learning these different coding languages! Looking forward to keep practising React with the next workshop.

i want to say a big thank you to Shecodes team, before now i struggled trying to learn how to code on my own but everything seemed confusing, applying to learn from Shecodes has being one of the best decisions i made so far, Shecodes Basics was amazing, its been three weeks filled with alot of learning, challenges and a fun experience, Mr matt is such a great teacher, the slack community also really helped me, i would highly recommend Shecodes to anyone looking to start their journey in tech

Fun, easy extra project

SheCodes has been such a fun and rewarding experience! The lessons are clear and Matt does a great job of breaking everything down. I loved seeing my work come to life. I highly recommend giving this course a try!

Now that I have finished SheCodes Plus, I can definitely say that it as a bit challenging, but it was all fun to learn and I love that i know have a new skill set. Im very excited to advance to the next part of the program.

SheCodes has been a very efficient and clear way to learn how to code with fun projects and ample opportunity to practice. I definitely recommend it when it comes to learning these skills!

I learned so much at this course! Even though it is the basic course, I had so much fun and could experiment with the challenges and the project. Very easy to follow!

It was realy challenging but super fun.

This was probably the most fun SheCodes workshop yet! Not only did I learn a lot about how to make sure the websites I'm building are also responsive & easy to be viewed on smaller pages (like from a phone), but at the end, I even came out with a beautiful portfolio that I now cannot wait to expand with even more projects! Super challenging, but super fun!

For someone with 0 coding background, SheCodes Basics taught me how to build a website from scratch using HTML, CSS and Javascript! The videos are easy to follow as well, Matt explained very well a lot of fundamental theories and why certain steps need to be followed. I can understand the instructions 99% of the time. I look forward to continuing further with coding, especially web development.

This workshop was phenomenal! I enjoyed the cognitive and creative outputs that come with coding. I'm looking forward to continuing my education with SheCodes. I had a lot of fun expressing my values and new coding skills through the final project. 👩‍💻

The PLUS workshop is a full package for someone like me who enjoys learning to code but is scared of actually developing a functional front-end of a website. Matt's clear explanation on the strategies and tools used along with a super responsive team and community, this workshop is highly recommended. SheCodes Plus is an extremley useful workshop. I already had some basic knowledge of HTML and CSS but learning JS and API was so fun and exciting. Can't wait to start with SheCodes Responsive.

At first, I wasn't sure whether I would like it or not; but I found the course pretty exciting and fun! I'm looking forward to learning more about coding.

I had a great time creating this World Clock App using Moment.js. I had fun incorporating various JavaScript techniques that I have learned within the course. My confidence in knowing the basics of JavaScript enabled me to learn how to add different features to this Clock App for example a color Switch. The users can change the background color that they want. I can't wait to learn more responsive techniques in the responsive SheCode workshop

Have a great time with this course! It's an excellent opportunity to learn code and start a new life. SheCodes team helps a lot with finding different solutions and lessons are fun and interesting

Learning with Shecodes is super fun and it makes me want to keep going further and further in coding, I'm so excited for what's to come...

React was really challenging! But I felt really fulfilled, thank you so much SheCodes for the best coding videos and the responsive team in Slack, this was the most fun I've had in a while. I can't wait to code more :)

This was my fifth SheCodes workshop, and a lovely leraning experience once again. It was so much fun to learn more about css, my favourite topic! :)

React course was for me the most challenging so far. I will review Matt's videos as I have forgotten some Tipps I have learned in the past. Coding itself is fun when it works! (it's stressful when it doesn't work :p)

I'm loving my coding journey so far! Learning to code is something I never imagined that I'd be doing as I always considered myself "non-technical". I thought I'd give it a try and I've surprised myself! Matt is a great teacher and the learning process has been highly engaging and fun!

I have always been curious to understand what the word "coding" was all about, one of the most heard words lately... I had no idea, a lot of fear but more curiosity. It's been three weeks and I NEVER thought I could have advanced so much from a starting point in which, I was completely null in the field. It has been three super fun weeks, what a nice way Matt explained the steps in detail, with a lot of clarity. I realized that it is not impossible, that it is an exciting world and that if I keep practicing I will be able to keep falling in love with it. Thanks SheCodes, I lost my fear, you have allowed me to prove to myself that I can do it!

"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." Being a Web Development enthusiast, I was learning from different platforms. However, I realized I wasn't becoming confident of my ideas. With challenges and assignments, SheCodes Workshop helped me to go through my concepts in a much efficient way. I got to apply my design ideas and was able to create a simple page, thereby holding my fundamentals as well. Highly recommended to those who are still looking forward to start on their coding journey.

I would highly recommend Shecodes to my friends, it was an amazing course and I have learnt a lot! I had no idea I would be able to understand how HTML, CSS and Java Script is working. I had a lot of fun during the course, it was very inspiring and intersting!

This course is full of new instruction to develop a project. Really enjoyed learning more about the functionality of JavaScript! Matt was amazing and explains step by step. So learning will be easier with SheCodes!

The course is very practical, useful and well structured. Matt explains it very well, and goes step by step. The course gives me knowledge and courage to build and publish my own websites, I understand the world of functions and APIs. I find it to be a great achievement in a short time! :)

This was a fun add on course whicch expanded on some of the techniques learned in basics. It also showed us some ways to make more sophisticated code which was also nice.

It has been quite a challenge! But Matt is trying to make everything as simple as it's possible to explain 🙈.I can just say, that I like to work with React A LOT and gonna continue to learn for sure! I had a lot of Fun! 😃❤️

I had a lot of fun building this landing page and learned many useful techniques to build even more sophisticated websites.

The add-on course was really fun! I was really inspired to explore and try experimenting and learning things on my own.

I sincerely appreciate the SheCodes Basics program for allowing me the opportunity to pursue one of my curiosities, while also keeping the process fun and engaging. I am grateful to have learned from an instructor who is not only passionate about coding, but who is also extremely knowledgeable. Matt's ability to assemble seamless and well-structured lessons allowed for me to have an incredibly beginner-friendly coding experience.

We learned some new things in this workshop and it was a fun project, so I highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed this course. I have a hard time focusing on videos sometimes, but I love that they are very well divided and digestible, so it doesn't feel like too much information. Coding itself is so fun and I appreciate that SheCodes creates such a comprehensive guide to it.

I have always been so scared of coding, it looks so intense. SheCodes made coding not only fun but easy to understand. I found myself so excited to get to the next lesson and learn more. Matt does an amazing job explaining and breaking down all of the areas you need to code successfully. I do not think I have ever taken a course where the homework didn't feel like homework! With SheCodes the weekly homework assignments just added to the experience. The final project was so much fun to piece together. There were definitely moments I got stuck but Matt is an excellent teacher and prepares you with all of the tools you will need to hand in a successful project! I truly enjoyed the course in its entirety.

As a person working in health care, the world of programming has always seemed very mysterious and intimidating to me, but this course has really made it interesting and enjoyable. The tools and resources SheCodes provides are super helpful and the lessons are clear and thorough. Also, the community that SheCodes team has built is wonderful, everyone is very supportive and cooperative. I would definitely recommend the Basics course if you want to get acquainted with coding in a fun and easily digestible way.

Course is just amazing for the beginners. Easy to follow and to stay on schedule. The lessons are split in a practical and convenient way. It is a lot of fun to do the challenges and the homework. Finding motivation was never an issue.

Good extra tips to make responsive websites, and a fun project.

I have always been interested in programming, but didn't know where to start until I found SheCodes and was willing to give it a try. It is as fun as I thought and motivated me to keep learning.

This workshop has helped me so much. I love the way the exercises are built, making it very easy and simple to learn the material. It was very fun being able to understand the concepts fast and and I can't wait to learn more!

I had never really done any of this before and it was surprising how fun it became. The videos were easily digestible and in combination with slack I felt like I was easily able to answer any questions I had that came up! I built a webpage, how crazy cool is that?!

Another really fun project finished. All though the portfolio will be a work in progress in the coming time too. Like I've said before, I really enjoy learning to code through SheCodes! I will continue to the next project and definitely recommend this training.

I had a really good time learning, it was fun and not stressful. The extensions made it easier as I came across some hurdles on the way. Matt made it very easy and I always looked forward to doing the challenges.

SheCodes not only helped me learning the very basics of front-end development as a beginner but also made want to learn more! The classes are brief and concise, easy to follow, and the challenges are great to put in practice the new knowledge. Overall I have had fun while learning, I love it!

It's a great intro to coding - well-structured, engaging and so much fun!

SheCodesBasics is great to get the ball rolling with the foundations of the web. It's very concise, teaching you the right amount of information needed to create static pages and adding basic functionality with JavaScript. Highly recommend for beginners.

SheCodes Plus was an amazing journey. I was having fun and enjoying building weather app. Everything I've learnt so far just clicked; I was able to debug my code, analyze it and sometimes even write the codes without going over the videos first. I just felt like a real coder! Thanks SheCodes and everyone working hard in this team!

Even with a basic knowledge of front end coding under my belt, I was able to learn a lot of new things. The class and projects are challenging yet fun and the Slacks team and my classmates helped me a bunch when I struggled with a code. Instead of overextending myself, I kept my codes simple like Matt suggested which ultimately helped me not overcomplicate my code and stress myself out.
