I recently finished the React workshop and was impressed with the knowledge and teaching style of the instructor, Matt. One of the highlights of the workshop: building a weather app. On the surface, the app may have looked simple, but it was a great demonstration of the power of React. Despite its basic appearance, there was a lot of work that went into building this app, and I learned so much about the React framework in the process. The workshop was structured in such a way that we gradually built up the app, starting with the basics and adding more and more functionality. This made it easy for me to understand how React works and how to use it effectively.
Another amazing workshop to learn more about HTML and CSS. A great opportunity to develop a responsive and SEO-optimized website. As usual, the videos are easy to follow and the final project is challenging and a lot of fun to code.
It was really fun to build a simple but also solid website! It was quick but I learned a lot with this workshop.
This is the best coding workshop I've done. All of the videos were easy to follow and I now have a solid understanding of the basic functions of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Starting to learn how to code with SheCodes was a very good idea for me. I like how the learning material is broken down into small lessons that are easy to follow. It really is a lot of fun actually!

Simple and digestible! This workshop was an excellent choice to begin learning the fundamentals. I liked how brief the videos were. I also liked how each video ended with a challenge to put what I had just learned into practice. I feel like the basics workshopΒ has given me a solid foundation in CSS/HTML/JavaScript that I can build on with the help of other workshops and Googling. The lecturer is also excellent at explaining things, and if you ever get stuck on something, the Slack group is extremely helpful.
It was really fun to re-do this project with React. It's good to know that there are so many ways to get the same results, and still we can learn something new each day.

I was able to learn how to make websites more responsive using just pure HTML without the help of frameworks. Also, learning how to embed media, including google maps was very fun and interesting! Challenging but very enjoyable. Matt explains the concepts and the advanced content in a way that is very easy to understand. The challenges with every lesson were useful for understanding the concepts, but it is has been fun doing the lessons on a daily basis. I hope that I will be able to continue learning coding and hope to use the knowledge I learnt in future careers.

SheCodes Plus helped me a lot to get a deeper knowledge and understanding of JS and hosting websites, which I will use in my daily work. Although there were some really challenging parts, I had a lot of fun to solve the challenges and creating my project.

Studying coding with SheCodes has been a fantastic experience for me. I just started two weeks ago and knew nothing about coding. After two weeks I am delighted to say that I confidently have learned the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. These classes are full of fun, intrigue, and sometimes intensity. I mean intensity, positively. The pre-recorded lessons are excellent. However, video recordings alone are not enough to convey information. Hence, in order to learn faster, you need to listen attentively, take notes, and practice rewriting codes repeatedly. In spite of the fact that I only asked one question and found the solution before receiving a reply from the team. There is no doubt in my mind that the SheCodes team is awesome. Their support is always available to students, and students can count on them at any time. Prior to enrolling in the course, I had a lot of doubts about whether I should invest money in SheCodes. As a result of taking the classes covered in the first three weeks, I can say without a doubt that this has been the most valuable investment I have ever made. In addition to that, I also had concerns about payment and wrote an email to Matt elaborating on this topic. Upon receiving a response, I was offered a discount and the option of making monthly payments, which was very comforting for me. As a side note, I'd like to mention that I was neither paid nor pressured to write this testimony. It was entirely my wish to do so. (My motivation for writing this sentence is because I found some upsetting YouTube videos that were misrepresenting the SheCodes course)! Thank you, SheCodes for creating such an incredible course.
