I decided to come back to coding after doing so many other programs. I just could'nt get it. Until I saw an ad for SheCodes. That's when I knew it was a sign to join. SheCodes Basics was extremely exciting and fun to learn. Very easy to follow.

This 3 weeks of coding have been fun! The classes and videos were very easy to understand. As a beginner with no knowledge about HTML, CSS or Java Script, I was able to build my first landing page. I am excited about my progress and will continue learning how to code. What an exciting journey into tech! Thanks Matt.

Matt is an outstanding instructor! He's very objective and clear in his explanation, the classes are divided in a way that makes the learning super fluid and fun! Despite having a solid foundation in HTML and CSS, I previously struggled with understanding JavaScript. However, Matt's classes, along with the engaging challenges that accompany a lot of classes, have turned JavaScript a lot easier for me.
It was fun learning how to make an weather app from scratch! Now I want to push myself to learn even more things to build that interest me. Thank you SheCodes!!

It was a very interesting workshop. The way it is taught, through videos and with the various challenges, makes things more understandable and fun.
I was especially curious for the responsive workshop and creating my own portfolio webpage was incredibly motivating and fun! I feel like I can go on forever with styling details therefore I am also super happy with all the tips and tricks explained by the instructor and provided by shecodes.

This course taught HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The course was well-structured and easy to follow, with fun little projects that kept me engaged and motivated. The instructors on Slack were knowledgeable, available to answer any questions I had and being able to talk to the community was great. The course provided a great introduction to web development and gave me the foundation to continue learning. Overall, I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning to code and developing their web development skills.
I'm always trying to learn new skills to keep myself competitive in my career. I didn't know much about coding at first, but I'm so glad I chose to learn through SheCodes. The course was fun, and Matt is an excellent teacher! Hopefully I'll be able to take more SheCodes courses in the future. I love coding!
This was a great introduction into the world of coding. I honestly wasn't sure if I could do it at first but with the ability to go back to specific classes, the SheCodes resource section, having detailed solutions and now Athena. I realized I could code and have fun doing it!
SheCodes Plus was a challenge but fun! It helped me improve my HTML and CSS skills and also taught a lot of new Javascript concepts. Highly recommended!

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in figuring out whether or not they want to pursue coding. The video tutorials were easy to follow, and I learned a lot in a short amount of time while also having fun.
I enjoyed very much following the SheCodes Basic introduction to coding! The classes are very well structure and clearly explained by Matt; the challenges are a very good warm up in order to finish every week the final homework and in general it has happened to be quite fun and creative too. I would for sure recommend it to someone that wants to have a first look to the coding experience!

This was my favourite course that I've done with SheCodes, so far! Super interesting and well-laid out. I felt like I gained a lot of new skills and information throughout this section. The final project was really fun to create and also can be applied in real-life which is awesome.

I found so refreshing to have a place to learn, and still have the space to figure other details myself. Tinkering with different solutions and seeing different ways in which parts could work out and come together has been the most fun!

I am a girl high school who has a dream to learn as much code as I can. Before SheCodes I never had much experience at all, this was great for teaching me basics and now I know how I can build off of it. I had a ton of fun making my own project at the end of this course and I was able to be creative in my own way. I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to learn coding.
This add-on was a great bridge from SheCodes Basic to the next step. It was a fun and slightly challenging project to build. I enjoyed adding to the same project with each class.
The SheCodes curriculum structure is great for a beginner like me, learning each new skill and element in a practical way that made sense and could be applied to real-world situations. A great balance between having step-by-step instruction and independent problem-solving. The website has some amazing free resources too which are fun to explore, already have some ideas for future mini projects. Looking forward to starting SheCodes Plus and learning more!

Awesome introduction to React! It was great fun rebuilding the weather Application with React this time and learned so much about the React framework in the process. It's wonderful to see how same results can be achieved through different ways. I would recommend these work shops because of the Simplified explanations, the homework and challenges.
It was very challenging and fun to do. The final project is set up very well, making it easy to follow all the steps and implement personal changes to the code.
Can't believe another fun workshop is over. This workshop was packed with great challenges and I've learned so much new stuff. My coding skills are much better, can't wait to hop on another workshop. :) Thank you Matt and whole SheCodes team, you are making learning very enjoyable.
SheCodes found me at a time when I needed a push in a new direction. Three weeks with SheCodes Basics and I feel like a hackerπ All honesty, the program was fun and user friendly it made learning so much easier. Being able to interact with others in Slack made learning less daunting. I didn't think that coding would be something that I could be interested in, this course proved me wrong and I'm eager to see more possibilities.
SheCodes is a great first step into learning to code. I hadn't coded since learning Scratch in primary school but the way Matt explains his lessons makes the course fun and easy to follow. I wish we covered a bit more but i guess now I'll be moving on to SheCodes Plus!

Learning to code seemed intimidating and difficult only a few weeks ago. I am so glad to find the SheCodes Basics course! SheCodes helped me go through programming in a fun process. Programming can be frustrating but SheCodes makes it really fun and at the end of the day you feel good about yourself and what you built by your own hands. It is pretty awesome.
It was great fun building the weather App π. And I can't wait to learn React to simplify the unit conversion.

In less than 1 month, I went from 0 to finishing my first ever functional application - a website that allows users to search the current weather and forecast for any location including over 200,000 cities in the world using real data with several APIs.
SheCodes was a big part of how I began my coding journey and how it changed my life. I had so much doing my website. It's not yet my finest work but it was fun putting it all together!
That was fun! I enjoyed having the mini challenges at the end of each lesson; they were hands-on and used to ensure I understood the lesson. I recommend this course to someone with little or no coding experience. It's creative, fun, challenging and immensely rewarding when you see what you've been able to build by yourself!
