I really enjoyed working on the dictionary app for SheCodes React Add-On! It was such a fun way to get more used to working in React!
Like the Basics workshop, the Basics Add-On workshop was fun and so easy to follow along with. I was able to finish another landing page fairly quickly and with the knowledge that I knew exactly what I was doing. Matt is such a clear and precise teacher and I can't wait to jump into the next course.
That was a lot of fun again! The lessons are structured in such a way that you want to stick with them and you are very proud to see the result in the end! Many thanks to the team!

Well, it was challenging and confusing but great fun to built the app like this. Loads to learn and loads to understand. Basically I was just following the instructions and it feels like I am still so far away from coding on my own.
This is an amazing start to your coding journey! Matt gives super detailed and clear explanations for each topic, making learning incredibly fun and enjoyable! I am grateful for this great opportunity, for the support of the team, and lovely and friendly community!
SheCodes basic was fun to learn.I love the bit-sized lessons and the fact that there were challenges at each lessons.It is a very quick way to get a basic knowledge in html ,css and javascript. Matt made it very easy to understand the lessons.I am really grateful i experienced the basics of coding and i'm excited go to the next step.
It really is amazing the things I've learned so far with the basics. This workshop gave me the foundations I needed to move to next level :) I enjoyed coding and learning more about CSS, HTML and JavaScript and had so much fun designing my first project.
I truly experienced a challenging coding journey. The syllabus is so well-designed and the tasks are so well splitted into smaller pieces that the difficulty of the challenges turned out to be fun for me. Weeks 7 & 8 were like a story narrated part by part. I also love weather API by Shecodes which helped me to proceed with the project more easily.
Things are getting more complicated but learning with SheCodes really helps me to wrap my head around all those JavaScript functions, logic etc.! I love figuring out how to fix bugs and get everything to work how I want it to.
I really enjoyed this course! I actually had fun creating the final project and was proud of my end result. I found all of the lessons valuable and that the concepts elevated my code. Highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to create more polished and device-friendly websites.
SheCodes basics was so interesting! It was easy to start and fun to continue building a page. I need to use the other computer language such as R or Python at Uni, and learning SheCodes basics helped me understand those other language so much easier! Thank you SheCodesπ

I learned a lot about the basics of HTML, CSS, and JS. It was fun building the projects all by myself.
Just a very brief introduction to the Frontend world. Even though is a basic course I feel like there was a lack of very important information and content. Also, I think there could have been more fun activities and not repetitive as the ones that were presented.
This add-on course provided some extra lessons, mainly for CSS, while helping build upon what was learned in the initial basics course. The project was fun and a good challenge and it brought together the information learned in the lessons.
This was my second SheCode workshop. Engaging and practical one as always. Expanded my CSS grid and transform skills while learning new JS functions. Highly recommended!

Firstly, I would like to give Mr Matt his flowers, he really made my learning journey less stressful. I started studying coding with SheCodes 3 weeks ago, and I have been very motivated especially by the curriculum. SheCodes really helped me realize how exciting and fun coding can be! I have gained skills so fast which was something I did not expect, improving this much in only 3 weeks! I loved the challenges between every lesson, it did get challenging but with determination and grit I managed to do it!. I am so happy that I joined SheCodes and very much eager to continue upskilling myself!

Through SheCodes Basics, I was able to learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The lessons were beginner-friendly and the instructor Matt would take his time to explain each aspect in order for us to understand their importance. Now, I am able to see how the three languages can work harmoniously with one another to ensure a great user experience.

This is my first opportunity to learn how to code. SheCodes taught me the different languages of coding. I learned how to design a webpage with links and buttons, which was a lot of fun to learn. This course has givien me confidence because I've learned a computer language that not everybody knows. I definitely want to continue to learn more so that I have an opportunity of finding work in this field.
Learning to code was not something I would have ever thought would have interested me, until one time during Covid I tried a free weekly course to try and pass time with and ended up being hooked. After a that I knew that I wanted to pursue coding in a more serious note and see where this could take me. Following sometime from then I looked around for coding courses that I thought best suited my needs and would still be challenging whilst still being able to complete them. That was when I discovered SheCodes and decided to commit. Finishing the basics course has only further piqued my interest into my introduction to the world of coding. SheCodes have made learning fun and interactive, with help also close by with a friendly community.
It's been a great few weeks; challenging at times, but so rewarding. I feel like I've learned a tremendous amount in such a short space of time, and it's been fantastic to learn a cool new skill in such a fun way. This course has given me a solid foundation in the principles of CSS, HTML and Javascript and has left me eager to learn more. I'm excited to see where my coding learning journey takes me next. This course was challenging, especially the JavaScript part and I will still need to practise to really get and understand it. But once you understand it, with those tools you can do anything. It was so much fun building the weather app and following the lessons. I have learned so much and had lots of fun doing it! Definitely worth it. I was really happy to see all my hard work pay off when my final project was done. There are so many ways to build your application that is hard to stop playing around!
Thoroughly enjoyed this SheCodes course! I really appreciated the mini assignments along the way and the homework assignments & final project were so much fun to put together.

This is my last course of the plus package and I am more motivated to pursue a Front-end development career.
The experience was so much fun and easier because I already had some form of knowledge from my university, so it was a bit of revision for me, but I really enjoyed this form of teaching and looking forward to more challenges.

This course was so fun! It really built on my existing HTML knowledge and was a great start to learning CSS and Javascript. The final project was my favorite because you got to pick any topic you wanted to focus on.
I recently finished the workshop where I learned how to develop a Dictionary app using React and 2 different APIs. While I found React to be challenging at first, with practice and persistence, I was able to create a functional app. We learned how to integrate 2 APIs (one for word definitions and another for photographs) into the app and how to display the results in a user-friendly way. One thing I appreciated about the workshop was that the instructor provided us with all the code we needed to follow along, but also encouraged us to customize the app and make it our own. Overall, the workshop was informative, and challenging, providing valuable hands-on experience.
I am so glad that I started this journey! I did not think I would be able to complete the workshop because of my full-time job, but the setup is helpful for those who need a flexible program. Additionally, getting extensions during those hard work weeks helped me keep going. The assignments made practicing what we learned fun!

I am so excited to finish my SheCodes Plus certification. By far my favorite project to add to my portfolio! JavaScript was more fun and complex than I originally thought going in to this course. I learned that my passion for coding is expanding; I continually think of improving my code throughout the day and understand that I can solve most of my problems if I take a moment to refresh my thoughts. Falling into the routine of coding everyday motivates me to continue to grow my skills and knowledge. That being said on to the next project!

A fun little project while still learning a lot.
During a one-month vacation in university, I thought it might be fun and useful to learn a bit of coding. I never expected to actually learn as much as I did in such a short amount of time. Definitely impressed myself and I am very thankful to the SheCodes team for making such useful, fun, and most importantly educational content!
Working on world clock was really interesting and fun. I am really happy that I could do another project which helped me to understand coding stuff better, and will happily continue with the next courses.

SheCodes basics was a fun and well-paced intro workshop that allowed me to pick up concepts quickly and with less confusion. I found myself jumping into lessons to keep the information coming. This dictionary app lets users search for word definitions, pronunciations, synonyms, and even example sentencesβall powered by an API. I used React to create a clean, user-friendly interface with a search function that updates in real time. I have never been tested so much mentally honestly. A really beautiful yet challenging experience. I had to rewatch a lot of videos multiple times as the level was quite higher than that of SheCodes basics. I learnt so much and feel much comfortable with javascript now. It was really exciting to see my app fully functioning, thank you so much to Matt and the entire sheCodes team.

I was very excited to start this course and it did not disappoint! The lessons are easy to follow and less than ten minutes each so you do not feel overwhelmed with information and most lessons have a challenge to try out what you have just learned. After taking the introductory workshop, I was engrossed in the functionality of coding. This upgraded course increased my foundational knowledge and opened more doors into JS and fundamental web development.

You are very cool. The only thing I didn't like a little was that the first week's homework required using the element for three squares when hovering. We were not taught how to do this, and I tried to do it in known ways for a very long time. I tried to combine the elements in a clever way. And here is just a function that we did not learn.
This workshop is the best :) Classes are fun, intelligible and comprehensive! I enjoyed every homework I've done so far, it really helped me get better :) And SheCodes team is awesome:) I appreciate the opportunity π!
