I had so much fun learning how to code! This was something I've wanted to do for a long time but have always found daunting, coming from someone with zero computer science background. Now I actually understand HTML, CSS and JavaScript only after only 3 weeks of course. Thank you team! :)
Thanks to SheCodes I am developing a new skill, I don't know how far I will get but I'm sure I want to learn more. I had never really done any of this before and it was surprising how fun it became. The videos were easily digestible and in combination with slack I felt like I was easily able to answer any questions I had that came up! I built a webpage, how crazy cool is that?!
Another really fun project finished. All though the portfolio will be a work in progress in the coming time too. Like I've said before, I really enjoy learning to code through SheCodes! I will continue to the next project and definitely recommend this training.

I had a really good time learning, it was fun and not stressful. The extensions made it easier as I came across some hurdles on the way. Matt made it very easy and I always looked forward to doing the challenges.
SheCodes not only helped me learning the very basics of front-end development as a beginner but also made want to learn more! The classes are brief and concise, easy to follow, and the challenges are great to put in practice the new knowledge. Overall I have had fun while learning, I love it!
SheCodes Basics Add-On was a great supplement to the Basics workshop. It was fun learning how to execute the extra functions covered in the workshop. Can't wait to learn more!

SheCodesBasics is great to get the ball rolling with the foundations of the web. It's very concise, teaching you the right amount of information needed to create static pages and adding basic functionality with JavaScript. Highly recommend for beginners.

SheCodes Plus was an amazing journey. I was having fun and enjoying building weather app. Everything I've learnt so far just clicked; I was able to debug my code, analyze it and sometimes even write the codes without going over the videos first. I just felt like a real coder! Thanks SheCodes and everyone working hard in this team!
Even with a basic knowledge of front end coding under my belt, I was able to learn a lot of new things. The class and projects are challenging yet fun and the Slacks team and my classmates helped me a bunch when I struggled with a code. Instead of overextending myself, I kept my codes simple like Matt suggested which ultimately helped me not overcomplicate my code and stress myself out.
Very fun and interesting workshop. Very happy with what we have learned. The pace and level of what you learn is also great. However, the videos could be updated and more prepared. They seem a bit "off the cuff", which - for the price of the course - could and should have been avoided. Good support on slack, but it can take time to get the level of support needed - and this led to me having to use extensions unnecessarily. Also, when attempting to fix some parts of the app - we are told that we cannot get support/help to solve this as that is something covered in a later workshop that is not a part of the course I have paid for - this is disappointing. But all in all - a great introduction to coding!
I was definitely challenged in the Plus Workshop, but still had an incredible lot of fun! Can't wait to continue the journey ๐

Great workshop! I finished the three week class in less than a week because I was having fun solving the puzzles and learning something new. It was a bit addictive to be honest. ๐ The pace of the class was perfect. Matt gave us enough information without going too slowly and the homework was challenging without being overwhelming.

It was an incredibly valuable and rewarding experience. During the workshop, I learned about responsive design tools that allow me to make a website user-friendly on any browsing device. The instructor Matt was knowledgeable and patient, and I appreciated the hands-on nature of the course which allowed me to apply what I was learning in real time. Overall, I feel much more confident in my ability to create functional and responsive websites thanks to this workshop. I loved this course! The basics course was great too but building on that further and working with API and more advanced javascript in the Plus course was really fun.
I enjoyed taking a deeper dive into the basics of web development. You will learn how to create nice transitions on images and place them in an aesthetically pleasing grid. Fun!
I really enjoyed all of this workshop. I had a lot of fun building my own responsive personal portfolio and this will be so useful for the future.

Another SheCodes workshop completed! It was a fun one to search for and try out some web designs, color palettes, and features. So it is a bit less about JavaScript and more about the building blocks of a website and looking through your own work to share in the portfolio project. Ready for the next challenge!
I really enjoyed taking the SheCodes basic workshop. I had a lot of fun coding the little challenges and the end of the week homework. I was really busy during the time period of the workshop and had to do most of the challenges and homework last minute, but the explanation was so detailed that I did not struggle as much as I taught I would. I really appreciate that Matt himself is teaching the classes and helping his students through the basics of coding. This is a website I would recommend to any women that are interested in coding.
SheCodes Responsive was so much fun! I enjoyed creating my own designs, solving various challenges, and learning much more about Bootstrap. My projects look much better now :)

The instructions were easy to follow and accessible to beginners still keeping a good degree of challenge for someone starting out. It was a great fun refresher for me!
A great experience, what I have been trying to learn for years, here Iยดve learned it in only a month. Every lesson had the exact explanation without going much into detail. The practical side is a plus because with coding you have to practice nonstop. Also, the projects were difficult but itยดs the best method to learn with projects that you have to think about and try every CSS and Html tag. It made coding fun than seeing a bunch of tags all rounded up in columns. Highly recommended!
I wish I knew about SheCodes earlier! During grad school, I found it pretty hard to learn how to code, and my professors were never any help but with SheCodes The basics was awesome and so fun to learn. I am now more confident about coding than I ever was!

I have really enjoyed this course, and have learnt more than I thought I would. Everything was quite easy to follow even with my dyslexia. If you are considering it just go ahead and do it, it was fun and a great introduction into the world of coding.

The Responsive Add-on project is definitely not walking on a cake. It was super challenging. I am learning as well as having fun with codes. Thank you so much Matt and team for always pulling our hands when we are about to drown in frustration. The reiteration of codes in different projects is always giving me confidence to try new codes, fail, rectify until I succeed.

I had a lot of fun using the Weather API and creating a weather App. I have learned so much in a short space of time! Will defo try out other API's in the future and create other apps with them.
SheCodes Plus is a great experience for me. I learned a lot while working on weather forecasting project. It requires consistency and patience to complete the workshop and developing the project from scratch to a fully functional version of it. Matt has given great insights on planning, designing, development of a project and industry best practices. I also got to know about InVision freehand tool, Bootstrap framework, DevOps and How to continuously develop and deploy project using GitHub and Netlify. After completing SheCodes Plus I feel more confident in frontend web development and excited to learn more and improve my skills.
Building an application in React was as fun as it was challenging, but I learned a lot. The code can be a lot more sophisticated then it seems and the use of logic is so much more prominent. I enjoyed this workshop as much as those before React.

This was challenging, yet fun! At one point, I did become stuck and wanted to just forget about completing the workshop. However, the SheCodes community is behind you with assistance to help you become unstuck and keep moving! When I completed the project and saw what I accomplished, I was indeed proud of myself for not quitting midway.
I really enjoyed this add-on workshop, it was very easy to follow and I gained some more experience with the JavaScript functions and timezones.

I've learned so much throughout this workshop. When I started at SheCodes my thoughts were that I would like to gain some basic knowledge in the field, just for fun - now I can't get enough of coding.
