when I started on SheCodes, I was very nervous and scared but after I started learning and doing the challenges, I became very excited about the whole process because Matt made learning fun and, easy to understand. I am positive now that this is what I was made to do.
I enjoyed the course so much! All the classes were straight to the point and always proposing a practical exercise for everything we learned. Not everything was easy, but I honestly had a lot of fun and I am very happy with everything I learned. The support on Slack was also great, I could find help for most of the moments I got stuck and managed to fix any troubles. I also really enjoyed how the courses motivates us to find our own solutions and explore different options instead of just focusing on a single alternative for everything.
This workshop has been AMAZING, a bit challenging at times but 10/10 overall. I learnt so much and had a lot of fun while doing so.
This was a fun project to put together, and after going through all of the courses leading up to this it was nice to see myself being more confident in my code and what I should be doing without having to ask as many questions. Definitely a cool project to add to my portfolio!

I am extremely grateful for all of the knowledge I have absorbed the last couple of months, thanks to SheCodes and Matt Delac. I went from knowing absolutely nothing about coding, to knowing how to build an entire website, and have had so much fun while learning. I have one workshop left to finish along with a couple projects, and am eager to see what more I can do and continue to learn. I came across the SheCodes Course through my University (NovaSBE). Before that i had some brief lessons from my front-end colleague in my lunch break. Shecodes helped me to understand the fundamentals of frontend coding. However, i have a long way in front of me to become a frontend developer. I really enjoyed this course.

I decided to take on this course and it's been great. I used to do programming at my old job, however since I stopped being a software engineer. I noticed I started to slowly forget what I learnt. The bootcamp helped me in understanding the core concepts of React; such as components, JSX syntax, and the how to create functional components. I was a little bit worried I wouldn't be able to follow (what's before absolute beginner?), but 3 weeks later I am so glad I went for it! I was immediately hooked by the workshop and looked forward to login in at the end of the day. Matt's lessons are remarkably clear and engaging, and I loved being able to immediately apply my newly acquired knowledge in the exercises. SheCodes allowed me to surprise myself and make myself proud, I had way more fun than I ever thought I would while learning how to code. It's not that complicated, after all!

Absolutely recommended for those who, like me, have always been 'allergic' to notions of coding in JavaScript! π It was not as easy as I thought. However, all the notions covered in the course are fundamental to understanding the world of coding and the exercises offered are well structured, allowing you to create a great final project. Without this course, I would never have understood how Java Script functions on my own!

During this last block I got challenged by REACT, but I had loads of fun. I am happy and grateful for everything SheCodes has taught me and I feel prepared for continuing my coding journey after the summer.

It was really fun and empowering creating a website with just HTML and CSS. I feel like I'm starting to get a deeper understanding of how everything works. I made a website that acts as a one-stop-shop for latin dance lovers in Lisbon. It has information on classes and regular parties. Just last night, someone from dance class said how hard it is to know about the parties happening around the city. It was so cool being able to help him out by directing him to a website I created.
