I never thought I would be able to write a line of code and make it functional, but SheCodes made me believe. I loved the experience, the videos in each lesson are very enlightening and the practice exercises are great. They are not exact copies of the examples given in the lessons, which makes it all the better to practice. Step by step, Matt makes you able to build something. I can't wait to continue and sign up for a new workshop!
Super fun project incorporating my favorite hobby!
SheCodes makes learning really fun with a great balance of theory, practicals and code-a-long videos. I've found that the structure of the lessons has helped me to pick up concepts quickly and you do feel you have achieved something each week with the homework tasks. I've also picked up lots of tools and tips that aren't necessarily taught in other self-learning platforms I've tried.
Wow, I made a teensy "webpage" for the first time in my life, all by myself! Feel so excited!! I had fun learning html, css and javascript. Ha ha, makes me feel so smart! Wonderful beginner class that I thoroughly enjoyed. I look forward to learning more.
It was like learning that your phone or tv can do something that you didn't think was possible, and now that you know that you can do that thing, the possibilities are endless. Challenging, but very fun!

This has been a very insightful experience building this weather application, I already have a technical background outside of development and with the right fundamentals it was possible to excel my expectations and improve my knowledge to push further than ever and most of all I had a lot of fun while doing all this!
SheCodes Basic has been fun to learn! I really like that we are able to learn at our own pace. The lessons are explained well and it's great that we can rewatch the videos at any time. The challenges, homework assignments, and project have made me think but they've also been fun. I'm looking forward to moving on to the next set of Workshops!

I started my journey with coding in primary school, it was fascinating but I dropped it after a while and. Now, after many years I have chance to continue this adventure thanks to Matt and his wonderful team. It's clear, it's fun and it's stimulating my brain. I want to work with coding and continue my career as a tattoo artist on the side. I was looking for a long time for something which will give mi that spark and stimulate my brain and here I am :)
I have recently made a career change from working in healthcare to wanting to become a software engineer. Since completing SheCodes Basics I realized this was the perfect choice for me! I enjoyed every part of SheCodes Basics and was very excited and eager to move on to the next section to learn more. The harder the challenge the more fun I had! I loved the idea of building the new project around one of my favourite hobbies, the workshop was really fun and provided a lot of tips on styling and CSS transformations.
Remembering the Myspace days when I was so excited to modify the background html codes to make my profile pretty & just the way I wanted it, this was such an informative as well as enlightening bootcamp! I had tons of fun remembering pieces while learning the proper way to build and begin to interact with my page through Javascript. I would highly recommend this program & look forward to creating more projects from here with my new found knowledge! Thank you so much.

It was a great 8-week experience to take the basics I learned in the first course and apply them to create a fully-functional weather app. I wouldn't believe it if someone told me I'd learn how to do this. The challenge was real, and there are always ways to improve, but I'm happy with my progress and the support SheCodes provided for times I got stuck. I would love to keep adding to my skills in the future with the next SheCodes course.

This add-on workshop consisted of creating a World Clock page with many various JavaScript features. It was fun personalizing the project and I have many more ideas of how to enhance it in the future as I learn more functions.

This workshop was so much fun! There's nothing more satisfying than being able to customize your website to make it responsive, no matter the size. There was a lot of content covered, but Matt breaks it down into easily digestible segments so it's easy to build up your knowledge without feeling overwhelmed.
