This Workshop was a lot of fun. I learned a lot about making my websites more viewable in different screen sizes. I also learned more css. It was easy to follow along. I'm glad that I worked on it.
I was so excited when I first heard about SheCodes, I couldn't wait to get started. The lessons are so well-explained and easily comprehensible. Coding no longer looks daunting to me but instead, it's so fun! I love the way time goes by so fast when I'm coding. It's been a wonderful 3 weeks and I can't wait to see where this journey leads. Shecodes was a great way to open my mind to the world of coding. Although it was brand new to me, the workshop was very clear and easy to understand. It definitely pushes me to continue and most importantly, it was a lot of fun!
SheCodes React Workshop has given me a lot of experience. In under six weeks, I learned a lot about React and then utilised it to build a weather app using JSX components, axios, and NPM packages. I discovered how to create functional components, and how React handles state management throughout the lifespan of a program. It encouraged me to continue my education and create a web development project. I'm eager to move forward with my journey.
Shecodes Basics was a great way to open my mind to the world of coding. Although it was brand new to me, the workshop was very clear and easy to grasp. It was definitely worth the money and time, and most importantly, it was allot of fun!

The Basic Add-on Course was great! I am a die hard "dark theme" girl, I change all my screen if I have to option. That was amazing to learn. SheCodes has been such a wonderful and fun learning program.
I think SheCodes is absolute amazing! It's very easy to navigate the site, the team is always ready and eager to help and don't make you feel bad or dumb for asking any questions. This institution has definitely made learning how to code a fun experience for me. Fun way to learn the basics!
SheCodes React Workshop is been a great exposure to me. I learned soo much about React in 6 weeks and created weather app using JSX, components, hooks, axios and NPM libraries in React. I learned about creation of functional components and how state management is done in an application lifecycle in react and some best practices. It motivated me to learn more and develop web development project. Excited to continue my journey forward.

Very VERY fun. Now that I was more comfortable with the material from SheCodes Plus, I was able to have lots and lots of fun with complex features and really try to unleash my creativity on this one. The JS has now become a real logical challenge, it's incredibly fun (I studied Physics so I really like solving problems that are logical and/or mathematical). I cannot wait to go on to the next workshop and find out how React works. πππππ

Before SheCodes, I found coding extremely boring! But Matt and SheCodes team changed that forever. The way Matt teaches coding makes everything perfectly clear, understandable, and most importantly, fun! π When I started doing the final project of SheCodes Responsive, I was really surprised by how I've learnt everything so well that I don't even need to think that much when coding. Of course, challenges are always there and that's a part of being a front-end developer, but SheCodes teaching system has given me the confidence to actually know that any programming challenge is solvable. π©π»βπ» I can't wait to continue my coding journey with SheCodes, learn more and more about programming, and become a professional front-end developer. π
Coding is fun to learn. You get to come across new challenges everyday of your coding journey, it helps one to be confident with facing challenges knowing well at the end you will overcome them.

I will admit I was intimidated to begin coding, but SheCodes makes learning fun and the community is an amazing resource to improve coding skills.
What an amazing introduction to React! The final project was definitely challenging but fun at the same time. A special shout-out to the SheCodes team for their great support!
I was able to advance my skills by enrolling in the SheCodes Fundamentals program as a marketing specialist. In addition, the training gave me a foundational understanding of JavaScript, which helped me along my learning curve for Servicenow's low-code framework.
As a beginner to coding with no experience in IT, I found this course very easy to follow and understand. I had a lot of fun doing the beginner course. I find it great that the course is paced well even for someone with a full time job. Having due dates for the assignments while also having the leniency to change them as needed really pushed me to finish the course with minimal pressure and stress. I would highly recommend this course!
I appreciated how the workshop was structured to teach the basics of responsive design plus advanced tips, while also allowing for creative freedom and individualized project development. By the end of the workshop, I had gained a solid understanding of responsive HTML and CSS development and had created a functional and visually appealing website for my hometown: Bogota.
In a nutshell: hard to grasp at first but so much fun!! Building a weather app in React was definitely a steep learning curve, but I really enjoyed the process and I was happy with how my project turned out. It is such a useful tool and I'm looking forward to the React add-on so that I can practice some more.

I thought it was a very clear courses. It was easy to understand and fun to make.
I have a bit of background in coding but I learned more here in SheCodes than when I was doing this professionally. The lessons are very well paced and the explanations are not lengthy - the Instructor, Matt, goes straight to the point, which I really appreciate. He also does it in a way that's easily understandable. I also like how the exercises are not super serious where it can get intimidating. Rather, it's fun and there's a whole community out there that's willing to help you if you're stuck.
Really fun workshop, I liked doing a dictionary project. This one really helps you to understand even more React. After doing react workshop, add-on was perfect to practice your skills. It's not that scary anymore!
I absolutely loved this workshop and I learned a lot. It was so fun building my portfolio; even if it wasn't easy, the teachings made it fun. I can't wait to start the following workshop and continue learning, I'm so excited for the next step.

I was surprised by the amount I was able to learn in such a short time! Matt's instruction was clear, easy to follow and fun. I am proud of my final project. Since I work full time and go to college I was afraid of adding more to my plate, but the self pace of the course worked out perfectly as I was able to get a lot done when I have time, and take a day or two break if I need it. I am so happy to have begun my coding journey with SheCodes! SheCodes was an easy way to explore coding without any prior experience. The hands on nature of the entire course is my favorite part as it allowed me to exercise my skills in real time with the instructor. Every concept was explained in a clear and efficient way whilst making the coursework fun. I was excited to see the fruits of my work through the coding project completed at the end of the course. Will certainly be expanding my knowledge with SheCodes in the future!

The beginning of this journey has been amazing! Lessons are fun and easy to follow. I have really enjoyed the challenge of learning to code and understanding how everything works together to make a page both functional and beautiful. I has also been amazing to try Athena-the AI robot- her answers are quick and to the point! I am thankful for the opportunity to learn and have fun doing it.
There are issues with SheCodes BASICS: If you watch the provided videos, study the attached materials/links and possibly make some notes to ensure you've truly understood the concepts before tackling the challenges, you need half an hour per lesson. There are twenty lessons in the first week alone; therefore the estimated study time is WAY off. Also, towards the end of Week 1, the lessons become notably lazy and a lot of relevant information is simply dumped below the videos. The challenge in Week 2, lesson 3 is extremely poorly explained (it gets better again after that). On the bright side: The course does introduce you to Slack and VS Code (real developer tools). Conclusion: If you're completely unfamiliar with HTML & CSS, want to get your feet wet but don't know where to start, you might as well spend 100 bucks on SheCodes BASICS. However, as of February 27, 2023, the SheCodes Terms of Use state: "It is not possible to get a refund for a course even if you contact us before the course has started." How very empowering. Mind you, we're talking about a more or less fully automated setup. Based on such a refund policy alone, I cannot recommend that you spend your money on the other (significantly more expensive) workshops. Go check out Dr. Angela Yu or Colt Steele instead.
My SheCodes journey was very constructive. I started from scratch, and in 9 months I have learned how to code. It is very fulfilling when you see your own work come to life. I can not say that it was easy, but definately worth it, 1000%. The workshops are very well structured, they are easy to follow and very understandable. The Challanges are fun and exciting. I can highly recommend this courses, they are made in such way that even without previous coding experience you can learn it. Matt is a very good instructor and all the SheCodes team is helpfull.
