I did the Basics Add-On after completing the SheCodes Plus workshop and I can tell that I have a better understanding of several things - above all Javascript functions seem a lot easier already! This workshop was so much fun! There's nothing more satisfying than being able to customize your website to make it responsive, no matter the size. There was a lot of content covered, but Matt breaks it down into easily digestible segments so it's easy to build up your knowledge without feeling overwhelmed.

I really enjoyed taking this course. The fundamentals were well taught and the challenges at the end helped reinforce the lessons. The Slack hat was also very helpful when I experienced hiccups while working on my challenges. As a beginner, this has been very helpful.
This workshop was amazing! I loved how the instructor Matt throughly explained the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It was a great experience to expand my skills and dive into the coding world. But most importantly, it was a lot of fun! Truly thankful for this opportunity.
I started my journey with coding in primary school, it was fascinating but I dropped it after a while and. Now, after many years I have chance to continue this adventure thanks to Matt and his wonderful team. It's clear, it's fun and it's stimulating my brain. I want to work with coding and continue my career as a tattoo artist on the side. I was looking for a long time for something which will give mi that spark and stimulate my brain and here I am :)
The workshop was really fun and, especially, it was perfectly tailored for someone (like me π) who had no experience with HTML, CSS, and Java Script! The lessons are short and at the end of each one there's an assignment, so that you can immediately practice what you learned. I also found Athena AI very useful for every question I had during the workshop.

I basically started from scratch, so I learned A LOT in just 3 weeks (actually less than 3 weeks, because it was so fun, I ended up doing it faster hahah).

Shecodes basics is incredibly helpful in terms of giving me insight into the basics of websites and how they function. There is so much more to learn but I found it incredibly helpful how things were broken down and explained in a simple way.
SheCodes makes learning really fun with a great balance of theory, practicals and code-a-long videos. I've found that the structure of the lessons has helped me to pick up concepts quickly and you do feel you have achieved something each week with the homework tasks. I've also picked up lots of tools and tips that aren't necessarily taught in other self-learning platforms I've tried.
SheCodes is a great boot camp for beginners in coding. It's approachable, fun, easy to follow, and highly practical. The curriculum involves a lot of hands-on coding exercises, and the community is supportive, making it an ideal place for beginners to learn.
As challenging as it was, I loved doing this entire course. It opened my mind to new ways of thinking, and strengthened by growth mindset. It's nice to be able to have something challenge me and it be fun at the same time. So happy I committed myself to the experience!

Coding really can be fun! Once again, Matt has laid the class out in an easy to follow manner - learning some new tricks and also re-iterating things we already learned. I loved taking this workshop. As a complete beginner, I found the lessons easy to follow along, and enjoyed all of the tasks, and the project that was assigned. It was fun being able to be creative, and start to develop a new skill that I hope to use in the future.

I liked this Basic course that i did. It gave me a better vision what a Front-End Developer is. Even beginning this course with some doubts in myself, i realised that i am quite good in it ,it makes fun and i really enjoyed to go through every lesson. I am sure that i will continue learning coding and may be one day will work as a Front-End Developer. Everything is possible, you just need to believe in it truly.

I was able to grasp some of the fundamentals of web front-end development with the resources provided in the basics workshop. The pace for learning the materials and doing the homework and challenges was also set well especially for beginners. Learning React is not an easy task. I appreciate how this workshop focuses on key elements and models each step to creating a working weather app. There's still so much to learn, but I now have the foundational knowledge to figure out how to make functional React apps.

Wow, this class was intense. I enjoyed learning React; you can do many neat things, and the code looks prettier. It was a very challenging class, especially figuring out how to transfer my CSS to the correct file, and which parts of your code you should leave or move into the next component to keep the design how you want it. If you take this class, utilize the Slack channels to help solve any issues you may come across. Overall it was super fun and I am excited about the next section.
