This was fun

Really enjoyed this course. Learning more advanced techniques and being able to see everything come together was fun and interesting. Building the website helped to bring out my creativity and loved every minute of it.

Creating the dictionary app as a part of this add-on course was a really fun learning experience.

This was lots of fun and well explained! I also learned some new AI tricks. Another week for more in-depth practise or other projects would have been great.

This AI Plus course was fun and really opened my eyes to what AI can do. I also liked getting some hands-on practice with starting a project and using GitHub, Visual Studio, and Netlify together.

Taking this React course was a transformative experience for me. As part of the curriculum, I built a fully functional dictionary app—what seemed like a simple project at first turned out to be quite complex. From handling asynchronous API calls to managing dynamic states and integrating audio pronunciation features, the challenges pushed me to really dive deep into React’s ecosystem. What I appreciated most was how the course encouraged exploration beyond just the basics. I experimented with custom hooks, conditional rendering, and different approaches to managing global state. By the end of the project, not only had I strengthened my core React skills, but I also gained confidence in debugging and structuring scalable front-end applications. I walked away with a solid portfolio piece and a much deeper understanding of React. Highly recommend this course to anyone ready to level up.

I just completed the SheCodes Plus AI course, and it was an amazing experience! This workshop taught me how to combine JavaScript with AI technology, and now I can build interactive apps that generate real-time content using APIs — like a poem generator powered by AI! The lessons were clear, hands-on, and really fun. I especially loved learning how to craft good prompts, display AI responses using animations, and make the UI more engaging. Thanks to SheCodes, I feel much more confident working with AI tools and integrating them into web projects. I’m excited to apply these skills in my future apps and portfolio!

Another fun project and a useful one too! Working step by step through the different building blocks of CSS and JavaScript is really helping to cement them in by brain. I feel more confident about tackling my own mini coding projects after this course without having the rely to much on cheatsheets, AI etc.

This module helped acknowledge the potential of developing AI apps using AI APIs and how customized they can be based on prompt engineering and context. The AI Travel Planner as a final project has practical uses in the real world and it was so fun and easy to work with. As always, Matt did a fantastic job as an instructor. This project was a great opportunity to put everything I had learned into practice. While I admittedly spent far too much time perfecting the CSS, what I truly enjoyed was diving into the functionality, implementing the search engine, integrating the weather API, and ensuring features like the icons worked correctly. It was both challenging and rewarding to see everything come together. The experience helped me appreciate the logic behind web development more than just the visual design, and it motivated me to keep improving my skills.

Amazing, found the exercises and quizzes to be so fun. You need to invest the time to get the results. it seems confusing at first but if you follow the guide, it will start to become more familiar. I've never would have reached this far on my own, Im eager to keep going and stay on path

This add-on was fun and I appreciated the walk through for the final project. It was interesting and very helpful to have multiple ways to approach each problem and to walk through from start to finish.

I highly recommend this Python module for beginners to coding as well as programmers/students that have a good grip on front-end web development. I had an incredible amount of fun working with this module and it felt super easy. The lessons are well designed, bite-sized bits of straightforward information. The challenges were an excellent way of practicing each new bit of information learned. Matt's explanation was easy to follow, engaging and encouraging. SheCodes technical assistants on Slack are of great help.

React needs your full attention during these weeks as it is a steep learning curve all the way. It requires a lot of dedication to reading additional material online and being curious in how the different aspects of React work. Once you get familiar with React it is extremely fun and versatile. It shows you a whole new way of working with JavaScript and takes what you have learned previously to a new level.

I had a blast learning how powerful JavaScript and CSS are. Even though JavaScript is a bit tricky but Matt simplified it for me. To create the change theme feature was epic since I've used it before in different apps and platforms. Now learning how to create this feature myself, is truly amazing! This was a fun workshop add-on to solidify an understanding of React and APIs. The description and instructor are very serious when they mention that this is some advanced stuff-beyond the basics of HTML, CSS, and JS. And it will feel so true! But again, one of those workshops that is totally worth it in the end, just need to stick with it!

Learning Python has been really challenging but was alot of fun. It took alot of coffee and late nights but I got through it in the end. I can really see the potential of Python but it will take more training, writing code and testing before I really get the hang of it.

It was really fun learning about API integration.

For this workshop I came really confident with my html, css and JavaScript, all thanks to our instructor Matt. I was confident enough to do everything by myself and show off my creativity. I might have gone a little overboard with the styling but I had so much fun building with AI API. I will always be grateful of this great opportunity and I really can't thank SheCodes enough. I am so glad I took 'SheCodes Plus' prior to learning Python. I was familiar with so many of the core functions, thanks to stumbling through JavaScript the previous lesson. Matt often made the mistake of saying JS 'arrays' when referring to PY 'lists'. This was an unintentional blessing because it was hammering in previously learned concepts without trying! Python has a much easier flow than JS, so I enjoyed the ease in that. However, it is its own language, so it requires you to focus. I strongly recommend using the Pomodoro Technique to get through this workshop. Happy coding :)

The "Basics Add-on" course by SheCodes was a great extension to my foundational web development skills.
