The Advanced Web Development course was a turning point in my journey as a front-end developer. One of the most exciting projects I worked on during the course was building a fully functional World Clock web application. A fun and adaptable final project with room for design choice & experience in APIs
This was a truly enjoyable and insightful challenge. I loved combining creativity with coding while learning how to build a responsive, theme-switching landing page from scratch. A fun way to level up my python skills!
I enjoyed being able to play while learning. In most cases I took it a step further than what I should have with the challenges, but I enjoyed them non the less. For a beginner level with the most fundamental knowledge, this is a decent course. Can't say anything about if it's worth investing, since I'm on a full scholarship, but if you have the means to buy it, I say do it.

Creating this project was a fun and rewarding experience that combined creativity with the power of AI. One of the most interesting parts of the process was learning how specific the prompt and context needed to be. The more clearly I defined the tone, style, and purpose (e.g. "short, catchy names that could work as .com domains"), the better and more creative the results became. I also learned how to format and display AI-generated responses dynamically using basic JavaScript and HTML elements. Overall, this project taught me not only how to work with AI and APIs but also the clarity and structure when designing for creativity.

The journey to learning how to code as a beginner is not easy as first, especially if you are not familiar with any coding languages but with the help from the SheCodes team and Matt Delac it becomes easier as time goes by. Coding teaches you patience and to pay attention to detail. As challenging as it was at first, I really enjoyed every moment of it. What I enjoyed most is how fun and interesting JavaScript is.

I found it satisfying finally solving bugs and getting past stumbling blocks. Making an app with all the functionality and learning how to get live data was an advanced step in my coding journey.
