SheCodes has given me a wonderful and fun introduction to coding in JavaScript. I can't wait to learn more!
I've had good fun working on the SheCodes Basics course. While I've dabbled in CSS and HTML in the past, javascript was completely new to me and I look forward to learning more.
These two weeks clarified some doubts & concerns I had after the SheCodes Plus course. At the same time, I gained some new skills & learned a couple of more tricks. I'm impressed by how fast I went from nothing to a fully functional world clock app! Thank you Matt & the Team for your hard work :)

I've been trying to grasp coding for a couple of months but kept getting stuck with no idea how to find answers to my questions. I love this format where not only are we taught how to look up answers for ourselves, but if we can't figure it out there's a chat with classmates as well as an entire walkthrough of the problem. It's also super fun!

I've loved the SheCodes Plus course, it's been fun, challenging and really hands on. I've loved going back through my code and adding and changing things as a I learn more with each lesson, feeling easeful in some areas and stretched and challenged in others. It's been a great few weeks.

I postponed this assignment twice! I wanted to submit it when my vision for it was complete. While figuring it out and brainstorming I developed some skills and some techniques that I didnt know about and didnt think I could do. I had some oh my gosh moments, some excited moments, some ok girl you've got this moments, and most of all I had fun doing it. I am very satisfied with my end results. SheCodes was such a fun experience for me! I just moved to a new country recently and had some complications that resulted in me only being allowed to study in January of 2024. SheCodes has been a great opportunity for me to still be able to study and learn while waiting for college to start. The videos and exercises are easy to understand, it is so easy to ask questions and I love that there are deadlines. They really helped me to stay focused during the course. The basics course is great for people like myself who never tried this before and wanted to discover if this is something I would be interested in doing in the future.
SheCodes has been really motivating, supportive, and fun for my beginners coding journey. I really like that there are constant challenges and a network of cohorts and support team to help you with any questions or problems along the way.
The longer you code the easier it gets and it starts to become second nature. It's fun to see your progress come full circle.
Time to get a crazy coder! XD I learned very nice and new features to make a website look more beautiful, among some with which - I can order images on a website nicely in different possitions (called grid) - I can spin images and texts around and can decide how fast I want them to spin.π€ - I can put images in crazy positions.π - And I can change the settings of a website to a darker mode (or other color mode if you want). :) These are some of the features I learned at the workshop. π This was another very educational, nice and fun workshop! π€π₯³

This boot camp made learning to code really a lot of fun. I enjoyed the fact that I could do my work anytime from anywhere, the challenges where hard at times but I always had that support on Slack if I needed it. The things I have learnt during these 3 weeks have helped me build a foundation of my knowledge of coding and I will be back for the Plus package so Thank you SheCodes and I shall return soon.π©βπ»

I recently completed the SheCodes Plus workshop, and I cannot express how transformative this experience has been for me. The workshop was incredibly well-structured, with a perfect balance of theoretical learning and hands-on coding exercises. The instructors were not only knowledgeable but also highly supportive, making complex coding concepts accessible and fun to learn. One of the highlights of my SheCodes Plus journey was creating a weather application. This project was the culmination of everything I had learned throughout the workshop. It was amazing to see how the pieces of code I had written gradually came together to form a functional and visually appealing application. The Add-on project was a bit more time consuming, and challenging than the Basics project. Comparing the two landing pages though, I think the benefit of taking this workshop is clear. I was able to create a much more aesthetically pleasing/put together landing page, and would 100% recommend everyone take this opportunity to build upon the fundamentals previously learned.
I cannot believe how much fun I am having with this! Going from never coded a single line in my life to actually creating websites and apps! I cannot thank you enough for this!! I never expected that the course would get more exciting than the basics. I expected it to be difficult and challenging but not as much fun as I had. I cannot forget the stressful nights when the code would not work π° and the excitement of finally getting it right! I'm eternally grateful to the Delac Foundation for giving me this opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream. I hope to continue learning and growing my coding skills.
The curriculum was exceptionally well-structured, it focused on the fundamentals. The hands-on approach, where we were encouraged to apply what we learned through practical exercises for each lesson, was incredibly effective. I admire how organized were all the lessons. It was easy to follow the instructor & the written instructions whilst having lots of fun. Whenever I am learning something, the biggest obstacle is to overcome my resistance, if the course is boring. In this scenario, however I was very excited for each upcoming part. Now I've started to observe other websites from a different point of view. In less than 3 weeks I have learned 3 new languages! π The lessons from SheCode Basics were very good to follow and I liked the contact with the team of SheCodes very much! π I liked the flexibility: I could choose when and where I wanted to work on the workshop. I can already show and tell everyone about the website(s) I made! π€ ππ₯³ I never had a moment which was bad, I liked every part of the workshop, especially the last week of the project: I could choose my own topic and chose: "The Window of Tolerance" and made a beautiful website thanks to the guidance of the workshop. I shared the website with my friends and it can also be helpful for others (I can help people with my websites already).π€ The workshop made me get a better self confidence from the start, π₯° because you learn the practice of coding and making fun and working things already right from the beginning. π€©

I thoroughly enjoyed the "Introduction to Coding" workshop. I have some experience in coding through previous education, but SheCodes was easy to follow and understand. I like how the homework is basic and focuses on repetition to allow students to get a better understanding of the fundamentals of coding. I am looking forward to the next workshop!

I tried to learn coding before with a different BootCamp and that didn't stick because of a poorly structured curriculum and bad instructions. It is been super fun, even for a complete beginner with zero math skills! I completed the workshop in 3 days, so it has been a lot of hours of learning and coding but it went by in no time!
SheCodes Plus is more challenging to be honest, but it's always fun to follow and finish each of the assignment!
SheCodes Basic Add-on is great if you want to know how to make your HTML more interactive. I had a lot of fun learning these add-ons.
