I was totally new to coding and itΒ΄s been a challenge at times to understand some of the things Matt has been asking me to do! But itΒ΄s also been a lot of fun and itΒ΄s so rewarding to see my finished project. IΒ΄ve definitely caught the coding bug, and will be looking for new challenges to hone my skills. IΒ΄ d definitely recommend to anyone completely new to coding - the step by step videos, challenges and solutions are a great way to learn.
It was one of the most challenging and at the same time, satisfying workshops for me. Learning REACT with SheCodes TEAM was the most rewarding challenge that I've ever did in this beautiful and interesting tech journey. Endless thanks, as always, to the tireless team of SheCodes and to the instructor Matt, that made this challenge easier, funnier and rewarding experience and also to further deepening my desire to go on with other workshops.

I've already learned so much from the basics course, I'm excited to learn more with all of She Code's courses. I had limited knowledge in coding before the class, and was fairly intimidated by JavaScript, but I feel now that I have a better grasp on functions.
I am a beginner and before the course had zero knowledge in coding, but Matt explained everything step by step knowing what mistakes beginners usually do and prevented them. I really like it! Matt makes coding really really fun and exciting. I also like that all the challenges really require a bit of Google or analyzing, not just re-creacting stuff. This is how I have learnt something extra stuff. I also like that after every challenge we can watch a solution and there is always something new there. Thank you so much! Can't wait to keep learning!

SheCodes Plus has been extremely interesting as well as challenging learning experience. We dove deep into JavaScript and built a functioning weather app from scratch. Matt is a great teacher and it is a pleasure learning with him.
SheCodes Plus was so fun! I was so stoked to have created my very own live website! There were a couple times where I didn't understand the JavaScript, but rewatching the videos helped so much! Matt really explains the JavaScript thought process so well & he's not super technical with his explanation so anyone can understand him. I like how he mentions the common mistakes & he vocalizes his thought process even when the coding goes wrong - it reassuring. π hehe. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed SheCodes Plus, but I still feel like there is plenty more to learn! Can't wait for the next workshop! - Happy Coder π
I loved taking this course! It is the right amount of simplicity, challenging and fun!!! The videos are well thought out for you to understand just about everything and get you thinking critically on how to do some lessons. Slack is very helpful for referencing questions from other students. Knowing you will receive help from staff within 2 days is also very comforting. You are not alone on your coding journey.
As a new mum looking for a career change I wanted a course that was going to be fun and easy to follow, while also holding me accountable for my own learning. I find the deadlines help to keep me on track and the homework and project help me to see the progress I have made.

This Workshop has been challenging, I almost thought I would give him coupled with the many challenges I faced. It was tough but Matt made the sessions fun and interesting. So many times I had to take long walks, and sometimes I had to take days off, but I realized every time I completed a week and submitted the Challenges, I felt this sense of fulfillment and achievement at the same time. the way Matt went through each week was like a refresher course which was very helpful. I am so grateful for this opportunity and I do not take it lightly.

The responsive add-on workshop was challenging to me, but it gave me a lot of knowledge of how to create a responsive website. I had fun learning about embeds, and how a responsive website should look like. If you haven't learning that much about responsive website, this would be the workshop for you.
I like it a lot, very awesome! I have already some knowledge with the basic coding before I registered for SheCodes, I had a big fear that it's gonna be such wast of time, but I was totally wrong, the course was super fun, and Matt had explain everything in a very simple way, makes me believe that I can do it. also my whole life I was nurse and working in Hospitals. I never had work or learn anything about coding before last year, when I decided to give it a chance, and after maybe one or two months I gave up. As someone with no prior experience in coding, I was initially hesitant to dive into the world of programming. The weather app was interesting and fun to build. I learned a lot. The structure of the course was sometimes confusing though which may have been due to the course being updated while I was in the middle of it.
I really enjoyed this workshop, even though the concepts were a lot different from the previous workshops, I had fun building with the idea of components as building blocks. I'm hoping to get more familiarity with the usage and functionalities of the React framework, and use it for my personal projects and professional career.
I feel like I've gained a new super power! This course has been so fun, and having each week lead to one cumulative final project was really satisfying.
