I've had so much fun with the Basics Workshop! It's the perfect introduction to the world of coding, and I've thoroughly enjoyed learning HTML, CSS and Javascript. Although challenging at times, it was fun to learn React. The structure of React makes it easier to look through and find the errors in your code, while also giving you a wide array of options when building an application. I love easy challenges at the beginning of the course, ending with the step by step walk through of building the application.
Creating dark mode was a challenge at first, but I flew through it at the end! Great project, I had fun designing this.
I came in with very basic knowledge of html and css so as a beginner I thought the course was good in helping me build in to what I already know. The ask athena function was very nice and having the solution to help guide my own solution was good as sometimes I became so stuck I had to leave the project alone to come back with fresh eyes.
It was a very enjoyable project. Feeling more and more confident with JS I particularly had fun exploring new ways to utilize ChatGPT. Happy coding!

It's been fun to take on the next section of the course. Even with me being super busy during my everyday life, how things are so clearly explained and taught makes it easier and enjoyable to do the coursework.

When I started SheCodes I was a complete beginner. Now I have a basic understanding of what HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are, and I am able to put together a simple website. I've learned how to add links, images, and buttons to websites, and have prompts and alerts based on how the user responds. Matt makes learning easy and fun! The course work is well organized and easy to follow. There is always help available using the Slack app.
Learning to work with AIs has been way more fun than I was expecting, and a lot more accessible than I feared! I had a great time, and would encourage anyone to try it too.

I had a difficult time starting out, but the practice videos and instructions were very helpful in getting me to improve. I had a lot of fun, despite the learning curve.
This course was fun, packed with information, and the pacing is just perfect! I found very quick help whenever I was stuck. In just three weeks, I learned new skills, and more importantly, I was taught how to research by myself how to do new things. I enjoyed building my final project so much. I can't wait to keep going !
The Basic add on is a great way to practice the skills that you just learned in the basics class and to add another project to your portfolio! This was a very fun class to learn some new skills, putting them all together to create a project!
Fun like the first one, explained very well too. Especially that we didn't only learn new things but also had time enough to train the stuff from the Basic course was great.
I absolutly loved doing the AI Add-on, the learning was as with the previous ones I've done very easy to follow, the challenges were incredibly helpful for putting into practice what I had just learnt and I found that I was noticing little errors in my work quicker and logically working out why something was not working. I really REALLY recommend this course, I had a lot of fun with the end project and wanted to make something that showed some of my Irish heritage, with my cheeky personality added in but also something that made people smile! Check out my project even if its just to add two minutes of sillyness to your day! Have fun with this project if you go on to do it! π

The Basics Add-On course helps you to advance your understanding of CSS and Javascript, all while reinforcing the fundamentals of HTML. It features easy-to-follow instructional videos and practical challenges following each lesson, aiding you in mastering the content of the lesson.
As a UX designer, I just needed to gain a basic understanding of how coding worked. SheCodes laid everything out very clearly and provided plenty of opportunity for practice. I found it easy and fun and it was perfect for my needs!

Hello, I was always curious about coding. However, I was so scared to take step forward in this field. But I am so happy that I did and I enjoyed every bit of it. To be honest, There was point where I did get intimidated but I said to myself I am here to have fun. After that everything went smoothly. I know there is a long way to go and I am ready. I really like the flexibility I can learn and do the challenges whenever I can do. The way "Matthieu" explained everything in details is excellent. it easy to understand and even you can get help on slack if you get stuck on somewhere. I highly recommend this to everyone.
