Yet another challenging but fun project completed. Really enjoyed creating my World Clock, Matt did a great job and teach us step by step and explaining everything we did.
The best thing was learning everything at my own pace, acquiring the skills, and being able to apply them. I had so much fun, and coding is now my hobby. Hoping to get into the tech industry and showcase my skills.
Learning React has been the most difficult part of the whole course so far, and has really tested my coding skills! It was rewarding in the end, but required perserverance and frustration, which can be half the fun! I remember something that Matt said in the Basics workshop - If you ever get frustrated by the fact that one small thing is enough to break your entire page, remembr that it only takes one small thing to fix it!
I highly recommend SheCodes Plus, it is so far my favorite workshop because I learned a lot! I was already familiar with some things, but this one is definitely is a game changer. All the challenges were fun and you get all the support you need in case of questions. The workshop structure is well defined and aligned to learn new skills every week. I really enjoyed it and look forward to continue this journey with the SheCodes team.

An essential course for coding beginners! I was already familiar with basic HTML and CSS through my web design background and back-end customization, but I now feel even more confident knowing the fundamentals of all 3 (HTML, CSS, and JS) and being more involved in the coding process for my clients. The lessons were all very informative and digestible. The Slack chat was also extremely helpful for any questions that I had.
The responsive course was really fun to complete. All the information needed to complete the project was explained clearly in all the videos.

After completing the basics course with zero coding experience and unsure how I would do, I found the course to be well explained and fun. I decided to do the 'Plus' course to keep up momentum and carry on my learning experience. I enjoyed this course even more and liked the speed at which the classes are delivered and the explanation as to why things are being done. (Also, Matt's occassional chuckles and reassurances make the classes relatable and easy-going!) I love working things out and am really enjoying learning something that requires problem solving.. Now onto the next course..!
I did noΒ΄t know anything about coding. I thought as Matt said in the videos, It was rocket science.. IΒ΄m from a different field, IΒ΄m from Health science I studied Biomedical Science, and Clinical Microbiology with a master degree in sales and Marketing so I Work in Sales but I wanted to experience a different field to learn something totally new for me. I work a lot of hours during the day and travel a lot (but not for fun hahaha), Despite my busy busy life I could finish the three weeks workshop (In more time of course, because my agenda itΒ΄s pretty tight), but The way Matt teaches does everything easier to learn; I love the shorts and practical videos to understand everything. Right now IΒ΄m thinking in take a big step to try to learn more about this world, probably soon I will take the maximum level of these workshops. Thank you very much, to create such a magical way to learn a field that looks super difficult and "just for men"...

I was interested in learning HTML, CSS, and Javascript because I love the idea of being able to immediately see the changes you are making as you go. I found that I do indeed love this functionality of front-end development and have realised Javascript is a very powerful language and very fun to use when coupled with HTML and CSS!
