The past 3 weeks flew by, which is proof of the fact how easy I could combine my daily work and the contents of this course. It was super fun to learn about the basics of coding and I increasingly grew into the mindset of a coder. Even though I do not think I want to make this my full-time career, it is super helpful to understand more of this topic especially for my job I currently work in.
SheCodes Basic was a great introduction to coding. The lessons are both fun and accessible and ease you into the world of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The challenges allowed me to apply what I learned immediately, building my confidence with each step.

I am amazed at what I have learned to say the least. I enjoyed the overall curriculum, including the step by step explanations supplemented with hands-on practices that allowed me to fully experience the basics of coding. I was not only able to learn the basics, but I became familiar with how to identify my errors, code in the proper format and actually understand the functions of what I was developing. SheCodes is really great for people who are new to coding, the video tutorials are short and sweet so it is easy to grasp the content taught without zoning out. I love how after each and every lesson we are given a chance to apply what we learnt and this makes the workshop fun. In as much as the workshop is self paced, I love the idea of having deadlines put in place.

It has been a really fun and very rewarding journey learning how to code with She codes. I've learned a lot of things about coding and my whole view on coding has changed. I used to think that code is very challenging and might be impossible to learn, but I see that it's possible to learn step by step with she codes.
Shecodes has helped me develop a high-in-demand skill in a way that I couldn't possibly imagine. It's been a roller coaster ride, but it has been most amazing, and fun. I have most definitely fallen in-love with coding.
This was a really fun workshop! I learned so much about how to make a webpage responsive and SEO friendly, as well as how to link multiple webpages together. Following along with Matt made it that much more helpful, as well as the help provided in slack. I highly recommend! It was a great way to refine previously learned coding skills and learn new ones!

This course is not meant to be simple but it is a language and with practice and the great videos from Matt, you do get there and it's a lot of fun!

It's been a while since I started my coding journey, and what can I say? It's been a rollercoaster, but definitely worth it. I went from not knowing any coding to coding a whole functional website, and it's all thanks to Matt's teaching and the lovely community of She Codes. If you're looking to start, just start, for the only regret you will have is not starting earlier.
Lessons are made so easy I had fun the entire time of learning.
The final project in this workshop was an absolute blast! And while having fun, I also soaked up a tremendous amount of knowledge. This workshop was a perfect blend of excitement and learning.

I had fun doing this. It was experimenting of which API to use and that is free for use. I had to redo everything because sometimes it works and then the next day it doesn't. Just a normal day in web development.
At SheCodes, I had the opportunity to study the fundamentals of Front-end, which provided me with a solid base of knowledge in the area. At first, I was a little afraid to follow the classes in English. However, the teacher uses a language simple and intuitive, which allowed me to fully understand all the lessons. SheCodes React Workshop is a great way of learning a lot of react basics. Thanks to the many small challenges after each unit, you can apply what you have learned very quickly and later integrate it very well into the final project which is a lot of fun.
In this course I have learned important fundamentals of React.js, such as UseState, UseEffekt, properties, conditional rendering, Api integration and so on. My learning journey was exciting but at some points challenging. Loved the structure and flexibility of the course.

It can be very frustrating trying to get the prompt and context right so that the AI responses with the information you want but this was such a fun project to complete. This workshop was fun to learn. I created a recipe generator, that I will use when I get stuck for ideas in the kitchen. This example related to me more, as I am not crazy about poetry. At first, I was a bit intimidated to move away from Matt's example, thinking it would be more confusing to learn. I am excited that this was not the case. I found that it was easy to customise and encouraging to think of other AI projects I could create to streamline my everyday tasks!!
I'm hooked!! I've just completed the Basics Add-on course and have loved every minute. I've worked through CSS, understanding Backgrounds, how to make elements stand out using Transform and Grids and I'm now familiar in Class Manipulation too, using JavaScript to make changes to my HTML code. It's been a fun project to work through one of my hobbies and bring it to life through a landing page! Looking forward to progressing through the upcoming SheCodes courses.
