This was so fun! Really enjoyed making this project.

It took me way too long to come back to SheCodes — but I'm so glad I finally did! 😄 Every time I start a new workshop, I get super excited and instantly feel like I'm actually learning and making progress. The Basics Add-on was a great refresher and gave me the confidence boost I needed to keep going. A fun way to learn about AI API and its applicability.

What an incredible three weeks of learning coding basics with Matt Delac. It was such a rewarding experience, celebrating those moments when your code finally works and pushing through the challenges of debugging for hours. That is all part of the learning journey. This course sparked a genuine interest in web development for me. What started as a “let me try this” activity turned into something I truly love. I was doing it as a fun activity during my breaks after a long day simply because I enjoyed it. I built a weather app and completed my final project by designing an Airbnb themed website, which made the learning experience even more fulfilling. The course also helped me understand Python better, especially concepts like functions and conditional statements such as if and else. As a business/data analyst, I am excited to integrate these new web development skills into my analytics projects to create more interactive, user-friendly tools. A big thank you to Matt and the entire SheCodes team for all the support throughout the way.

I really liked the challenges of learning React and building complex functions. Doing this project made a lot of fun, despite being slightly more difficult than the other projects. I'm really happy!

I had never coded before, but the way the course is structured made it fun and easy to follow. The more I learned, the more I enjoyed it—and now I’m excited to keep growing in my coding journey! Working on my portfolio project took a couple of weeks around work, it was fun and sometimes frustrating, but I'm so happy with the progress I've made, and it's a huge improvement to my previous portfolio. I'm still finding many things I want to fix and tweak, and so I feel this will be an ongoing project with much more learning!

She Codes has been an incredible introduction to programming. Through the Python Basics course, I not only learned the fundamentals of coding but also built a real weather app using live data from APIs. Creating something functional from scratch was so empowering!

I began this journey hoping for a learning experience that would be fun and interactive—and it truly delivered. Each lesson sharpened skills I had overlooked in past learning experiences and helped me build new ones with clarity and confidence. I now feel more capable of structuring projects independently, and I’m genuinely grateful for this empowering journey.

The SheCodes Plus Add-on workshop was the perfect next step after learning the basics. Working with HTML input types and select elements gives us more control over user interactions, but the real game-changer was working with JavaScript timing events and date formats. The step-by-step approach from setup to HTML, CSS, and then adding single and multiple locations made what seemed like a complex project feel manageable. The Plus Add-on perfectly bridged the gap between beginner concepts and slightly more advanced development! Building a functional multi-location clock app has been one of my favorite projects. So much fun!!

The SheCodes Python AI workshop was very fun and easy to follow. It taught me more about prompt engineering and AI APIs, allowing me to explore their potential under the teacher's guidance. The final project was pretty exciting, but not without its challenges.

I just finished building a World Clock Symphony - a fully functional web app with real-time weather data, cultural greetings in multiple languages, and even Spotify integration! What Made SheCodes Plus Different 🎯 Project-Based Learning: Every week, build toward something real. No boring theory - just hands-on coding that actually works. 🌍 Real-World Skills: I learned to work with APIs, handle user interactions, manage responsive design, and solve actual problems developers face daily. 💡 The "Aha!" Moments: Week 1 when I finally understood JavaScript functions. Week 3 when my first API call worked. Week 5 when everything clicked and I was building features I never thought possible. I built World Clock Symphony from the ground up—no frameworks, no teammates—just browser-native JavaScript, CSS, and APIs, from the Spotify API to the Shecodes Weather API—the result: a real-time, culturally intelligent global time tool designed for distributed teams and financial operators. Every feature was scoped with GTM intent—market hour overlays, cultural greetings, weather context, and even Spotify soundtracking. I designed, built, and shipped a full-stack front-end product while treating it like a real GTM motion: messaging, positioning, UX, performance, and differentiation.

I had a bit of a struggle remembering everything since I took some time off to focus on my exams, but I managed to push through! It turned out to be a lot of fun. Watching my cloudy-sunny weather website come to life made all those hours spent troubleshooting totally worth it, even if it was just the missing “/>” or “;” that tripped me up!

Would highly recommend to anyone that wants to take their first step into coding, and understand the basics! Had so much fun, and will definitely recommend this to my friends and colleagues. Struggled a little bit with keeping consistent but that was strictly because of what was happening in my life at the time I started - but finally got there & couldn't be more proud of myself!

This project is not as easy as it looks. It required a lot of concentration , googling and walking breaks . I really enjoyed it . it really opens your eyes to how complex , the simple applications we use everyday are.Overall this was truly a lot of fun to build , and test out. I have learned a lot through SheCodes, and this is my third certificate. For this course, I built a Poem Generator — a fun and creative project that allowed me to apply my coding skills in a unique way. It was exciting to see how programming can be used to create art and express creativity through technology.

Taking this Python AI course has been an eye-opening experience. It was amazing to see how artificial intelligence and APIs can be accessed and integrated to build real, functional applications. Being able to create something interactive that responds with useful information...like weather, travel suggestions, and distances...made the learning process both exciting and rewarding. This project really showed me how powerful Python can be when combined with the right tools.

I have improved in what I knew about computers and coding to be specific, it is such a user-friendly environment that allows progress for females I couldn't have been prouder to be a part of such a great initiative. I am achieving my goals while having fun and flexible hours.

I just finished another phase of my SheCodes journey, and this time I got to learn about time and timezones using JavaScript, HTML, and Moment.js. I built a page where users can check the current time in different cities around the world. I already expected timezones to be a little confusing, but honestly, they were even trickier than I thought... and still really fun to figure out. This was the most JavaScript I’ve written so far, and at times it felt a bit overwhelming. But writing a lot of comments helped me map out what was going on in the code and kept me on track. I also got more comfortable using things like date(), setInterval(), setTimeout(), and user input elements like and . It was a great practice for problem solving, which I really enjoy. I feel like every phase helps me organize my thinking better and shows me how much you can do with code. The lessons are hands-on and practical, and that makes it easier to remember everything I’m learning. I still have a long way to go, but I’m feeling more excited and confident with each step. I definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to start coding with guidance and motivation.

Completed the 3 week SheCodes course while in between jobs and giving interviews. This was a lot of fun! I enjoyed learning how to toggle between light and dark mode, manipulate images, and how to make a webpage look more sophisticated. It only took me so long because I enjoy it so much, I get lost in all the CSS styling. Highly recommend to anybody wanting to learn some coding!
