I loved revisiting and strengthening my knowledge Python in this basics module. The weather app was really fun, and I was able to do most of it without support, which made me feel great! I am looking forward to learning more ways to handle and analyse data. This was a great break from the web development modules - and those skills helped here, too!

Wow! What an incredible opportunity this is, thank you SheCodes! Though I have completed the first Workshop: SheCodes Basics, I now know so much more about computer functions. Learning how to code with Matt is a great challenge, he makes it easy by focusing on what is important and simplifying the concepts. As I step into more advanced Workshops, I am excited about unleashing my coding potential and learning more about writing code and using other languages to create the code.

SheCodes Basics Add-on boosted my confidence and skills. Clear lessons, supportive Slack community, and fun projects—now I’m excited for the next level.

Completing the SheCodes Python AI course has been an exciting and rewarding experience. The final project, which was building an AI-powered Travel Itinerary Planner (step-by-step), was both fun and surprisingly empowering. Through this short course, I have gained hands-on experience using Python to work with AI tools and concepts, and it opened my eyes to how accessible and creative AI development can be. I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished and excited to keep learning and building with SheCodes.

Building this AI joke generator was actually so much fun! I learned how to work with APIs and create a chat interface that feels really interactive. The best part was making it South African-themed with jokes about load shedding and Eskom - it's relatable and hilarious!

The Basics Add on Workshop gave me the opportunity to build on what I had already learned in the Basics course. I worked with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in ways that made more sense than before, especially through the small projects and exercises. Seeing my code actually work and produce results was motivating and helped me understand how different parts fit together. The workshop allowed me to work at my own pace, which was important because it gave me time to fully understand concepts I found tricky. I also learned to approach problems more systematically and gained confidence in experimenting with code without fear of making mistakes. Overall, this workshop strengthened my coding skills, reinforced my understanding of the fundamentals, and gave me the confidence to continue learning. It was a rewarding experience that made me feel capable of taking on bigger coding challenges.

It was good fun and I decided to make a multi choice AI generator rather than a single option generator. I tried to use all the learned skills so far and remind myself of how far I have come as a newbie!

Coding always seemed cool to me, but the thought of going to school and learning it for 3-4 years made me put it off. I discovered SheCodes and joined the free workshop. Turns out, I could learn the basics in just a few weeks as a beginner! I love how the workshop is organized into bite-sized information. I was dreading to do the challenges when I first signed up, but I had so much fun. My personal favourite was completing the final project on one of my passions! The SheCodes Plus Add-on allowed me to build a fully functional world-clock app with time zones. I improved my JavaScript skills and gained hands-on experience with real projects. The workshop’s structure made challenging concepts easy to understand. I’m excited to continue applying what I’ve learned to new web projects.

This project was a real test. I cannot remember being this frustrated over something I couldn't get right on the get-go or on the first or second try, but I'm blown away that I built a fully functional weather app from the ground up.

I have really enjoyed this course. It was so well-structured, very easy to follow. I really had a fun time with the experience of making the weather app, it's so hands on and I feel like I learnt a lot! I cannot overstate the value of this course.

I’ve been following SheCodes for months, but I was initially skeptical of yet another online course. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Right from the start, you get a solid introduction that sets the tone, followed by a well-structured course with clear, comprehensive explanations and assignments that reinforce what you’ve learned. The homework and final project are especially valuable. They help you apply the know-how in a different context, which really deepens your understanding. It’s fun, engaging, and very focused on quickly enabling users to start building and experimenting. As a Product Owner who casually designs customer journeys, including automated email flows, I can already see how this will support my work.
