This project was certainly more advanced than the Basics workshop (go figure!), but the initial frustration and confusion were absolutely worth it. Iβve learned a great deal through this project, and Iβm extremely proud to have developed a functioning weather forecast application.
I found it very fun to work on the world clock project! We are guided step by step on how to seamlessly integrate time zones and dates, and apply the skills we have learned throughout our workshops to build our own world clock application.

Working on this financial planning and wealth management project has been a transformative experience in both design and functionality. From crafting a sleek and responsive layout to implementing a dynamic dark theme toggle, I aimed to build a user-friendly interface that seamlessly adapts to different preferences. I took great care to ensure each visual element, such as the logo and images, was positioned and scaled perfectly for a polished, professional look. This project allowed me to showcase my skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, reinforcing my confidence in creating attractive and functional web solutions.
I built a world clock using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and it was an incredibly fun experience! I truly enjoyed the hands-on learning and the challenge of bringing the project to life. There were definitely moments of frustration, but I realized that those were often due to my own mistakes in the code rather than any issues with the workshop itself. SheCodes Responsive Add-on is incredibly fun, specially if you enjoy designing and playing with colours and UIs. I love getting creative when it comes to the front-end of a website, so this one has been my favourite so far.

I learned so much in this workshop! I also was having fun. Matt has done such a good job laying out the lesson plan which makes each week strategically build upon the next. I nailed down a system in this workshop where I do a bit of coding each day so that I don't have gaps in my learning stream. One day gets stacked on top of the next day and I am able to grasp each new concept more readily because of my constant contact with the material and code. I give the workshop 10/10!

I had a lot of fun learning advanced concepts in Python. Matt is a wonderful instructor and the SheCodes team does a great job at providing help when needed. I do wish the last couple weeks didn't feel so rushed so I could become more comfortable with advanced concepts, but I'm glad I stuck with it! It was super fun seeing graphs come to fruition from data.
It has been a long journey full of turbulences. I am really glad I did not give up. I am very thankful to the SheCodes team for helping me out with the funding. Cannot wait to start working on the next workshop.

This workshop was a great in teaching the fundamentals of Vanilla JS and APIs. I enjoyed making the weather app. It would be nice to get another project that we can create without the help of the video instructions in order to apply the knowledge and learn through further practice.

The Plus Add-On world clock project is very fun. I learned a lot in a short time.
This dictionary project was built using React, and it is one of my favorite projects. I had the opportunity to practice creating effective components, functions, and sending properties between them to improve my application. I integrated two APIs in this project: the SheCodes dictionary API and an images API. I practiced using loops and the map method to pull and display precise data from the APIs. I worked in depth on styling the responses from the APIs to create different sections for my dictionary and to ensure the images fit the screen. I enjoyed this workshop.
The responsive program was the funniest week for me. I learnt so much and made so much progress. It was a little tricky at times but so worth it in the end.
Just completed the SheCodes React AddOn, where I built a vintage-inspired dictionary app. This project allowed me to dive deeper into React and create something both functional and aesthetically unique!
This is a great addition to the skills I developed already in SheCodes Plus. The functionality and language behind coding are now becoming more and more second nature. :)
This workshop was a great continuation of the basics, taking my coding skills to the next level. The lessons on CSS backgrounds, grids, and transforms were well-structured and helped me understand how to create more dynamic and visually appealing web designs. The final project, especially incorporating dark themes and animations, was challenging but really fun! Overall, this workshop offers a solid progression for beginners and helps build confidence in web development.
This is a great introduction to the world of coding. Especially if you love front-end. It provides lectures in small bite size videos that is easy to understand and grasp. This was great fun! Highly recommend this bootcamp!
I am so surprised with the work we have had to do, its been easy at times and a little difficult too. I have learnt a lot with this course and would be interested in doing further courses with SheCodes in the very near future. I specifically loved doing the final project, I ended up doing two, one at the end went wrong I am still trying to figure out what went wrong. But it has been a steep learning curve and fun at the same time.
This has been such a wonderful experience! The last computer language I learned was Fortran (I'm no spring π). But it was so much fun, especially since my two daughters who live in Europe were also registered for the course at the same time. It was a great way to hold each other accountable to get the assingments completed. We are also planning to enroll in the SheCodes Bootcamp. Thank you for developing such a wonderful program!

Creating this weather application from the ground up has greatly improved my web development skills. I gained practical experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, mastering the art of structuring, styling, and dynamically updating web content. Fetching live weather data from APIs using Axios and integrating it into the app with JavaScript provided a valuable learning experience. Additionally, managing user input and accurately displaying weather forecasts enhanced my grasp of JavaScript functions and asynchronous operations. Overall, it was an excellent opportunity to elevate my front-end development abilities and deepen my understanding of API integration from a programming standpoint.
