A really fun workshop to do. Easy to follow with real project as a result! I would recommend to everyone :)

My first experience coding with SheCodes was truly eye-opening. I was nervous at first, but the lessons were clear and engaging, and I felt supported every step of the way. By the end of the course, I had built my first project and gained the confidence to keep learning. SheCodes made coding feel achievable and fun!

I really enjoyed completing the Introduction to Coding workshop with SheCodes. The lessons were clear, beginner-friendly, and easy to follow. It was a great way to start learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and it made coding feel fun and approachable. I’m looking forward to continuing this journey and learning even more!

Learning AI and practicing how to create an AI generator has been an incredibly eye-opening experience. At first, the concepts felt complex, but through hands-on practice, I started to understand how AI can transform ideas into real, functional tools. Building and experimenting with an AI generator helped me see how prompts, structure, and iteration can shape meaningful outputs. This journey not only improved my technical skills but also changed the way I approach problem-solving and creativity.

Learning how to integrate AI into a website was really interesting and opened up a lot of creative possibilities. Throughout the course, I explored how AI can be used to generate content dynamically and make web applications more interactive. For my project, I built a Character Name Generator that creates names based on a user’s description of a character. It was really fun to see how a few details could turn into unique and fitting names, and the project helped me better understand how AI can be used as part of a real web application.

Learning Basic coding has been one of the most empowering skills I've gained. At first, programming seemed complex and intimidating, but starting with the fundamentals made it much easier to understand. As I practised writing simple programs and solving small problems, my confidence grew.

Completing Weeks 1–3 of the SheCodes program has been an exciting and rewarding experience for me. During this time, I learned the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which helped me understand how websites are structured, styled, and made interactive. The lessons were clear, practical, and beginner-friendly, making it easier to follow along and build small projects along the way. This experience has boosted my confidence in coding and motivated me to continue improving my web development skills.

Working on this travel project for the SheCodes Responsive course was an amazing learning experience. I got to practice HTML, CSS, and responsive design while creating a visually appealing and functional website. I especially enjoyed building the interactive cards, mini gallery, and map embeds, and experimenting with grids and hover effects to make the content more engaging. This project pushed me to pay attention to detail, accessibility, and overall user experience, and I’m really proud of the final result!

I have had so much fun putting in the work and learning this information. I'm only upset that I didn't start it sooner. If you love tech or want to pick up a new skill to get a deep understanding of the world of coding, get the WHOLE program with SheCodes. I can't wait to keep going. I really feel like the sky is the limit for me.

It is always a blast and a privilege to learn more about tech and it's constantly evolving world. It was really interesting to learn how to use an API to create something so fun and personalised.

Over the past five weeks, my journey learning Responsive Web Development has been both challenging and exciting. During this time, I gained practical skills in building web pages that adapt smoothly to different screen sizes using modern frontend techniques such as flexible layouts and media queries. This experience helped me better understand how real-world websites are developed to function effectively on phones, tablets, and desktops. The process strengthened my confidence in writing cleaner, more adaptable code and has motivated me to continue improving my skills in web development as I build more responsive and user-friendly websites.

SheCodes made coding feel less intimidating and actually fun to learn. I loved how the lessons were broken down into small, practical steps that helped me build real projects and see my progress quickly. As someone coming from a different academic background, it gave me the confidence to explore tech and realize that coding is something I can truly learn and enjoy.

A fun learning project, it took a lot of time with a lot of trail and errors. Sometimes got frustrated because I lost track of what I was coding but then the debugging starts and a lot of research online to find solutions, but I made it with the results I had in Mind.

I had fun with this project, I'm already thinking about all the potential applications :)

This was a project I have been waiting for. To build my own website and it not disappoint as usual. With completion of each course, I get more and more excited to move forward. I recently completed the SheCodes Plus AI workshop and it was an amazing experience. In this workshop, I learned how to work with an AI API to generate dynamic content such as poems, jokes, and other creative text directly in a web application. It was exciting to see how AI can be integrated into projects to create interactive and engaging user experiences. The lessons were clear, practical, and very easy to follow. I really enjoyed building my AI powered project and gaining hands on experience using APIs and JavaScript together. This workshop made learning AI concepts feel approachable and fun. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue learning with SheCodes and I look forward to exploring even more advanced technologies in future workshops. 🚀

It's been fun to work with the time in JS and building this website.

It's a fun and interesting experience, especially if you're new to the subject. It's easy to follow and shows you in little steps what to do, which really helps the adhd brain.

I really enjoyed my experience with SheCodes Plus. Building a weather app throughout the course was both fun and rewarding, and it helped me put my new skills into practice. It was exciting to see how everything came together, from working with APIs to displaying real-time data. Learning advanced JavaScript pushed me to try even more advanced features in my project and experiment with new ideas while developing the weather app. It motivated me to go further with my project and explore what I could build with the tools we learned. Overall, this course gave me the confidence to take my projects to the next level, and I’m proud of what I was able to build.

This workshop made me realize how much I prefer coding with Python. I had a lot of fun learning how to use the language along with AI and what is possible with these tools.

Short, but fun course in how to use AI APIs.

In just four weeks, I’ve gone from having no coding experience to building a full project using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The course is fast paced and packed with valuable content, which makes it both challenging and exciting. What I love most is the hands-on approach, you learn by doing, making mistakes, and improving along the way. It’s incredibly rewarding to see everything come together into a real website. A month ago, I wouldn’t have believed I could do this. This has been such a fun and empowering introduction to coding.

Now have a better understanding of HTML,CSS, JavaScript and how APIs function. The course was very comprehensive and complex concepts were laid out and simplified.

I had very little coding experience; the last time I touched HTML was editing my blog as a teenager. Curious and eager to learn, I joined the SheCodes course. The lessons are easy to follow, and each challenge really helped me understand things better. Learning at my own pace let me go back and re-study anything I didn’t get the first time. I loved every hands-on project, and by the end, I couldn’t believe I had built a fully functional landing page for my favourite Formula 1 team. It was such a confidence boost and made me excited to keep coding!

Learning how to code has completely changed how I see tech. In this course, I not only learned the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but also how to integrate AI into my projects using APIs. Understanding how prompts work, how to handle AI responses, and how to debug real world issues made everything feel practical and powerful. It’s been challenging at times, but incredibly empowering. I now feel confident building interactive, AI driven features on my own.

This workshop was so fun and i really learned lots! Working with API can be tricky, but it was so interesting once i got the hang of it. It is such a cool thing to be able to connect with the world through programs like we do today, so im grateful to this course for teaching me more about it.

SheCodes Basics Add-on is intense! Like all of them. I find myself googling a lot to perfect my project and bring my vision to life. I’m having so much fun that I can code all day long without even noticing I'm hungry. My biggest challenge is just overcoming the fear of the unknown.

The 3-week Basic course was really helpful and beginner-friendly. I enjoyed creating my first landing page and learning the basics of HTML, CSS & JavaScript. It made coding feel fun and less intimidating, and I would definitely recommend it to beginners.

Great React add-on course! Who knew creating a dictionary app could be so much fun? It was a practical and engaging way to deepen my understanding of APIs, components, and state management.

I'm having so much fun learning all the new functions. The class was really easy but so enriching.

It’s amazing how much I’ve learned in just three weeks. The lessons demystify coding and make it feel approachable, even for a complete beginner. I’m so glad I decided to start my programming journey, it’s never too late! Matt structures the course in a way that builds on the skills and knowledge you already have, allowing you to combine everything and create your own project by the end. Of course, it can be challenging at times, but that’s all part of learning something new. Over the past three weeks, I’ve had so much fun exploring HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. There’s still so much more to learn, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me next. Overall, these three weeks have been an incredible experience, and I’ve gained so much knowledge.

fun and easy to follow workshop

The workshop made learning to code in python fun. It was challenging and requested some research, but it enhanced the learning.

This workshop has been an incredible journey. I learned how to build a functional World Clock application from scratch, mastering JavaScript logic, Moment.js, and complex timezone management. The hands-on projects allowed me to turn theory into a professional-looking tool. Highly recommended for anyone looking to bridge the gap between basic HTML and real-world web development!

This course was awesome! Loved it!! Everything was structured, clear and easy to follow, and the support added that extra touch. It was really great learning experience. The challenges were fun, and the support was always there when needed. Loved taking it and would totally recommend it to anyone starting out in tech!

Fun experience

Python Advanced Workshop gave me a deeper understanding of Python. The excercises were challenging yet very fun to do and rewarding. I feel a lot more confident using Python now.

This course was challenging, yet fun. I loved using all the tools I have learnt to create a website. What I enjoyed the most was creating the multiple pages, making it responsive, SEO, and much more. I really enjoyed this workshop, and I feel like I am already an experienced Front-end Engineer 😂

I had fun learning about AI. The course was informative.

This was such a fun project to work on. And honestly I feel it was especially fun and easy because of the introduction to coding I had with the SheCodes Basic (Introduction to Coding) foundation.

It was really fun, going through this course module. The topic was easy to grasp with clear examples.

I was hoping for the best and expecting the worst, especially having no tech background. To my surprise it was all so easy to grasp, Matt has a way of simplifying even the most complex topics. I had so much fun. I can not wait for the next workshop.

Fun online course, and you learn a lot. Matt is a good teacher, and it is easy to get help when you get stuck.

React is definitely challenging. Understanding components, state management, hooks, and how everything connects requires time and patience. React also brought everything together from what I learned previously and showed me how to build fully functional, dynamic applications.

I never knew that coding can be this fun. I am enjoying it so much. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team for this opportunity.

Really enjoyed this session, it was difficult with the various time zones but was really fun.

I have some previous experience coding with AI. This was a fun exercise.

I hadn’t coded in 2–3 years because life got busy, and I honestly wasn’t sure if I could get back into it. Restarting with SheCodes was the best decision I could have made. I began by revisiting the basics, completed the add-ons, and now I’m back in the Plus workshop — picking up where I left off at 65%. What’s incredible is that it doesn’t feel overwhelming at all. Matt Delac explains concepts so clearly and in such a structured way that it truly feels like I never left coding. One of the coolest parts has been the add-ons. Learning how to recreate features you see on big websites — and actually building them myself — has been such an empowering experience. Implementing things like theme-changing elements, adding grids, and making projects feel more dynamic and professional has been really exciting. I’m genuinely grateful for the knowledge and confidence I’ve gained. SheCodes made coming back to coding feel possible, practical, and fun again.

SheCodes has been an incredibly empowering experience for me. It created a supportive and motivating environment where I could learn coding step by step without feeling overwhelmed. The community is also very encouraging, especially for women stepping into tech. SheCodes made coding feel less intimidating and more exciting. This class was a lot of fun in that there was opportunity to try different colors, grid styles and transformations. After this workshop, I now see how some websites function. I will never look at a website or even the details/designs on my iphone the same.
