This boot camp is the most fun, supportive and easy to understand program I've ever been in. The instructor covers so much material that you'll need to understand to enter the development world. I started off with little to no knowledge and now I am confident on continuing my journey with the tools that were provided to me. I know that this is the beginning of my journey and will not be the end all thanks to SheCodes ♥

Really great workshop to learn the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Each lesson is concise and not too long, and the challenges are thought-provoking, yet fun. Would highly recommend the workshop!

I have always had interest in learning how to code, especially for designing and creating websites/apps. I had previously tried to learn coding through other platforms, but never really got the support I needed in order to actually put all the theory into practice. I am impressed on how Matt and his team make learning how to code in such a fun and easy way. Finally created my first free-style webpage with the intro course and I am ready to continue with the next workshops! 💃🏽

Learning how to code had been on my mind for a while now and SheCodes seemed like the perfect way to start. I enjoyed the fact that the classes were always extremely practical and straight to the point. Also, the exercises were quite useful to consolidate all the knowledge and put it into practice. My personal favorite was the final project because I was actually able to build something from scratch! I totally recommend SheCodes for anyone who is interested in this subject. Expect lots of learning but also lots of fun :)

Before the Workshop I thought I would struggle a lot. I mean it still can be tricky, but it is so much fun to figure it all out and see a final result that you built yourself!

I just started with the 3 weeks Workshop and I had a lot of fun! I started to create my first website and I will continue to do so in my free time. I'm working in a school and thanks to this course I can start introducing HTML, CSS, and JS to my students. It was very fun and I hope to continue my learning experience with SheCodes.

This was my first time dipping my toes in the coding-waters. I honestly didn't know what I was getting myself into and worried that I would never manage to keep up. I found this introductory workshop so easy to follow and enjoyed seeing the results of each challenge. I had a lot of fun completing this workshop and intend to upgrade to SheCodes Plus with a very real confidence in my abilities!

SheCode's was an awesome introduction to web development. Matt does a great job breaking down each step and concept, but allows for you to take initiative to explore other ideas you have. It was so much fun!

I definitely recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to understand the basics of coding. Although I don´t use it on a daily basis at a professional level, as a marketing manager I always had the curiosity and the willingness to customize webpages on my own. This course has made learning how to code so fun and exciting. I've always been hesitant on taking coding bootcamps due to lack of time but I absolutely love how this is structured to be for people who are in school or in the workforce full time. This three-week course didn't only give me a good basic introduction of front-end development to enhance my UX Designer role, but also made me find out how cool a SheCodes online workshop is! The learning materials are well structured and prepared in manageable lengths so that tackling the tasks and weekly challenges are fun even for someone who's working full-time during the workshop. I'd love to proceed to SheCodes Plus as a next step!

SheCodes is one of the best online courses I have ever taken. The challenges are fun and I had so many resources available to help me that I never felt like I was lost. Uau! This workshop was such an adventure! I loved every part of it... There is something really unique and special about coding and seeing one's ideias become reality with a "simple" line of code. I know what you are thinking... "SIMPLE?? Hummm Hummm...Have you forgotten about "addEventListener" or "function whatIsWrongWithMyCode"???" No I haven´t! And yes, I will have to admit that it was not that simple all the times... Therefore I shall rephrase it to "challenging yet adventurous!" There is something really unique and special about coding and seeing one's ideias become reality with a "challenging yet adventurous" line of code (Indeed, much more accurate!) But in the end, I really enjoyed this workshop and I can´t wait to learn more about coding. I am pretty sure that I´ve made my team of Developers proud! I do believe it's never too late to start pursuing something you always want to do and it's happened to me with coding. This time last year I would not see myself to be able to create a web page from the scratch and today I'm publishing my very first coding piece of work 🤩 Thank to this pandemic for giving me more free-time to seriously focus on coding and with SheCodes, my self-taught coding journey has been so much easier. SheCodes is so fun and so helpful! I started the program without even really knowing what coding actually was and three weeks later I've built a whole page. It was very affordable and helpful. The videos are straight forward and interesting, and the lessons run in a very orderly way that makes a lot of sense. I liked it so much I'm excited to launch right into Plus and would definitely recommend it even for the coding-curious and absolute beginners.

I absolutely loved this course! I came into it knowing a little HTML but still felt like I learned leaps and bounds more. The HTML and CSS were by far my favourite part. they were fun to watch and I loved the challenges. I wish javascript had focused less on alerts/prompts and much more on functionalities you see on websites you use now. I know what we learned can be applied to other functions but still feel not sure how I would apply them. That's really my gripe about the course. The project was really fun and wish there was more!

The course is really well structured and very effective! In just 3 weeks I learned the fundamentals of coding which I never thought I would. Matt explanations are very clear and the homework are challenging enough to understand and memorize the lessons. I highly recommend it!

React is widely used nowadays and has a huge community of developers so it's great to learn it and find a lot of documentation and examples online. Learning React with SheCodes was great because the lessons and exercises make it a lot easier to learn, step by step, and Matt always teaches the last "trend" and what is being used right now. It was a lot of fun!

Great beginners course to help you get started! I had a lot of fun and I learned a lot. I'm now able to say I know the basics of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I'd definitely recommend this course to anyone who is looking to learn the basics and understand what the end-user sees! The course is very well laid out and explained.

I came into this workshop knowing nothing about coding, and left feeling so inspired to keep learning more! The whole curriculum is very approachable--videos are short but very informative and easy to refer back to, the challenges and homework are helpful and the final project was really fun to work on. I found myself looking forward to this every day and spending hours in my final week working on creating new things outside of the workshop because it was so fun. The Slack group was helpful for questions, someone usually got back to me within a few hours with a quick and helpful answer, and it was really cool to see how many women were taking this from all over the world. This was my first exposure to coding, and Matt's teaching style and enthusiasm takes the intimidation factor out of it for anyone who might be hesitant to try. I highly recommend giving this a try--I definitely want to continue learning more after this.

I am 26 and had a child at 15. Our life has been a ride. I have been a server for well over 8 years and never have I ever thought about coding until our state went into lockdown and everyone including me lost our jobs. It was and still is quite scary but signing up for SheCodes has empowered me in a way I have never been able to reach before. I loved the entire course and I woke up bright and early every morning to finish my homework and study on my own time. Matt is a personable instructor that took the edge off learning something completely new and intimidating. I came into this with absolutely no knowledge of coding. And now I'm hooked. I totally loved the experience throughout these past 3 weeks. It's been such an amazing journey where I've learned the basics, but fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I started to get an interest in coding for more than 1.5 years ago, however, as a complete beginner and learning myself, I struggled a lot just to figure out where to start and got so confused and unmotivated! I decided to give coding a change again later on and SheCode helped me to find my inner motivation again for coding! Now it is a lot easier and fun for me to explore the coding world on my own! This course was not only very education and informative but also a lot of fun. The videos and direction were very user friendly. I've had an amazing experience with SheCodes. I knew absolutely nothing about coding before joining SheCodes, and after just 3 weeks, I've been able to design my very own landing page using HTML, CSS as well as JAVA Script. Learning code has always been something that I wanted to do. However, most of the courses over there are not built for absolute beginners and sometimes it could be frustrating because they are too fast or too complex for someone who just started. However, at SheCodes is completely different. You could learn at your own pace, the lessons are very clear and you have the chance to ask all the questions you may need. Matt built a great workshop where he explains everything step by step for people who don't know anything about code which help us to truly understand what we are doing. Apart from that, almost every lesson includes a challenge to practice what we've been learning and that makes all the difference. Learning to build a real project from scratch using html, css & JavaScript was so fulfilling! Easy to grasp, energizing, but mostly a lot of fun. I’m excited to continue learning and highly recommend this course to anyone who is even vaguely interested in learning the basics in html/css/JavaScript. This is worth it.

This was my first online course i've ever taken and i am so happy i did! This is a great intro to the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript, so it's perfect for beginners. I really enjoyed the challenges after each lesson, i think the platform is super easy to use and the forums on Slack come in handy when you're stuck and need help! Simply I enjoyed the workshop and never expected that I could build something with my own coding after 3 weeks. The SheCodes has been accelerating my learning curve and now I am hungry for more! I started SheCodes with no prior coding knowledge. I had tried online learning for other subjects in the past and didn't have much success; I thought I was just someone who could only learn in person. I decided to try the online course anyway and I am SO GLAD I did. The course is well laid out. This was a great introduction to a topic that is not as difficult as it seems. It was fun to learn HTML, CSS and JS. In attempting to switch careers, this was a great place to start and leading me to consider to taking further courses to continue my learning with SheCodes. If you don't want to pay thousands of dollars or can't afford it, this is a great place to start and it will be worth your while. You have the help you need from staff and other students. You are encouraged to learn things on your own by simply googling, making that acknowledgement valid of being able to be a continuous learner, but also asking for help when needed.

I have always wanted to learn to code in any way possible, but never knew how or where to start. I know problem of a century. Covid-19 solved this problem for me by giving me time to actually find a course that sounded interesting, and oh boy this past 3 weeks by SheCodes flew by like a lightning. Matt and his team are great and there is a chat support if you need it  Thank you Lexi for kind words, questions like: How are you doing with project or homework? Coding was something completely new to me, coming from a non-tech background, but the SheCodes Workshop was an amazing way to introduce me to this world. Easy to understand and follow, right amount of workload per week, challenging and above all fun! I absolutely recommend it!

Matt was a wonderful instructor. I enjoyed the fact that sometimes he would leave certain things out for you to research on your own. To me, this seems like real life problem solving, as I have heard that coders often have to research information for their projects. I truly had fun completing the projects and it has made me feel more confident in my journey of coding!

This has been such a fun and rewarding process! I work primarily with video design and have encountered multiple projects when I had to do some light coding but was absolutely clueless about it, so it was great to get comfortable with the foundations of HTML, JavaScript and CSS. And as a bonus I got so inspired with my final project concept, that I decided to follow through with it and create a website page where I can sell my art!
