SheCodes has been so much fun! The way that this course is structured allows you to practice on your own time and at your own pace. I truly felt like I learned so much in just 3 weeks! Looking forward to continuing my journey with SheCodes Plus!
Very well taught and fun! I used to think coding was out of the question for me, as I have some trouble learning. In SheCodes I found an organized and clear way of teaching I could actually get along with, that kept me motivated!
I loved the class, luckily I had taken a couple others before this one, so I followed along a little easier with some of the sections. You definitely have to be a fast learner to keep up. This class was a lot of fun, I and enjoyed all the hands on workshops, with easy access to help if I needed it.
It was a great, fun course, and relevant content. I am looking forward to studying the next modules.

The course is very well paced and Matt is a great instructor. Learning react is challenging but also very fun once you start getting the hang of it. You can always re watch the lessons if you didn't understand something and ask for help if you get stuck. This course is perfect for React beginners and I definitely recomment taking it if you like coding.

I was always intimidated by coding. I didn't understand why people enjoyed spending hours at a computer, and the words they were writing did not make sense to me. However, I became very intrigued by coding because I knew that it is really useful to learn. SheCodes gave me the confidence to code! The lessons taught were fun and easy to follow. I now understand how coders can spend hours at their computers--they are doing work that they love! This is definitely a course for anyone and everyone to try. You won't be disappointed! π
I've had so much fun doing the workshops and wish I'd have enrolled sooner! I've learnt so much in the last three weeks and feel this is a great stepping stone in learning the basics of coding. It was a good experiece, I had fun and got to learn a lot more about coding. I feel we could have access to more material so we could learn more about coding, not only about the project itself.

The course came with its challenges but in the end, I was able to develop my first-ever weather app. I could not have done it without the support from JoΓ£o Lopes(work-space admin) when I got stuck or had questions. I am enjoying the classes so far. Matt goes into great detail about what to expect for each lesson, followed by a challenge to ensure comprehension. He provides solutions and resources so that you can code successfully. Learning to code never crossed my mind, but now that I have started, I see how easy and fun it can be. I can't wait to finish the other courses.

I've never done any coding and it was something that I always wanted to try. In this pandemic situation, I thought it was the perfect timing. Even with a full-time job, the workshop was very feasible and fun!
I had so much fun during the SheCodes Plus course. I used all the tools to me available, like the 24hr help. This time around I had several questions and I got help straight away. As an architectural engineer by trade, I decided to take a leap and expand my knowledge of coding and software engineering. I had very little coding experience in college and what I did learn was pretty outdated (MATLAB and things of that sort), so joining this workshop was a bit intimidating at first. To my surprise, this workshop has not only been easy to understand, but it's been quite fun as well! I feel like I've learned so much and I intend to continue on my journey of coding. I highly recommend this workshop for anyone looking to learn the basics. It is definitely worth the investment!

I always knew that some type of coding or computer science experience would help me achieve great accomplishments in my STEM career, but for the longest time, it was the only field of science that I did not explore because of how intimidating I thought it was! I am an accountant and graduate student by day and a newbie coder by night. My journey started a few weeks ago when a colleague challenged me to learn how to code. Up until that day I had always perceived the goal as too difficult and unobtainable for me, but that all changed when I stumbled upon a SheCodes advertisement on Instagram. Thank goodness I did because before that I had researched online and felt overwhelmed by the thousands of programs that can range anywhere from $99 to over $15,000. I took the free 60-minute webinar first and immediately was pulled in by Matt Delac's teaching style, the format of the course and how easy it was to follow along. The first week I felt just a tad bit intimidated, but each lesson really takes you step by step and I can tell that I have begun to absorb the information. It's exciting to wake up in the morning and feel eager to learn something new. This class is perfect for anyone with little to no background of coding like myself and also provides an amazing opportunity to network with like-minded women who are also looking for a challenge. I give SheCodes, 10 out of 10 and I cannot wait to start the next workshop, SheCodes Plus React. I went as far as starting a GoFundMe to get the cash to be able to take the next course. I've never felt more motivated!

I tried the 3 week coding workshop. SheCodes was super comprehensive, fun, and interactive. I loved being able to get help from other students and looking back at videos for assistance. Definitely interested in continuing to code after this lesson!
I particularly appreciated the hands-on of the course that allows you to learn by trying out and finding your own solutions while also providing support in case youβre stuck. I strongly recommend it to complete beginners interested in learning the basics of coding. I now look forward to continuing the more advanced course to finally turn my MA thesis into an interactive website that will make history more accessible and fun to the public.
SheCodes Plus is a very fun and easy way of learning. This course really helped me to understand JavaScript better. And when you need some help there is always someone who can help you on your way through Slack.

I definitely recommend learning with SheCodes. After losing my job due to Covid19, I took the beginner course to initially decide if it was for me or not, as well as to enhance my IT skills. The lessons are very user-friendly and it's great that you can progress at your own pace, with sensible and achievable deadlines to work towards. I was wrong to assume that coding would be boring and impossible, I've found it really engaging and actually good fun. I plan to continue with SheCodes!

This was a great class for beginners like myself! The videos were easy to follow and the challenges, homeworks, and project really allowed me to be hands on and implement what I learned. It was great to have the ability to go back and reference the videos if I got stuck. I did find that the course took more than 15 hours as stated in the course description (at least for myself - a beginner who was taking lots of notes along the way, viewing videos more than once if I got stuck, etc.). This workshop taught me the very basic fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and has set me off to further explore the world of coding and learn more skills! Also, I can't say enough good things about the SheCodes team and the Slack channel that comes along with this workshop - the team was always super quick to respond to any questions I had about the course and the Slack channel provided great support!Β
When I started to take this course, I had absolutely no idea that coding could be so much Fun! π Thanks to Matt's step-by-step explaination following by the practical exercises, you get a very good understanting of how it works, and increasingly motivated by witnessing your own progress and new knowledge adquired! SheCodes Plus is a great way to learn more advanced HTML, CSS, and JavaScript after the first workshop. The weather app was a fun project to work on!
I was really happy with my final project and getting the chance to learn something new. The lessons really helped me to break down the process and understand how to build a functional app.

It was a great experience. I like puzzles and when something didn't go the way I expected, it was fun figuring out what was wrong.
I loved it! The challenges were fun (and so frustrating sometimes) and I feel like I learned a lot. I'm a teenager and had final exams at school throughout most of the course so I maybe didn't get as much out of it as I could've, but it was a great experience and I would highly recommend it to basically anyone.
I must say that the last few weeks were very interesting and full of new discoveries. Who would have thought coding was so much fun and at the same time also frustrating. Especially when your own knowledge on the subject is lacking or you just need to find a solution to a problem that seams giant at first but then is just a typo (mostly). I am so happy I took the time this year to learn a new skill and try out coding back in April with SheCodes Workshop and continued with SheCodes Plus. I can not wait to see what coding future I can discover and learn some more about programming. Hi everyone from SheCodes workshop, I would like to thank you for challenging months. I realy liked to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript and worked on challenges. Learning how to work with API, Github or hosting was very very useful. I highly recomended this course becouse coding is fun, you can improve your skills and find good job. :)
I have had so much fun learning to code. Although I have definitely found some of the modules hard, I have really enjoyed figuring out how to do it and solving problems. As someone with (what I thought was) good computer knowledge, SheCodes has opened my eyes to so much more. As a student ready to start University, I have experienced some of what my degree may offer me. It has also became a hobby I wish to partake in as much as possible and expand my computer science knowledge further. SheCodes Plus is a great way to make your introduction to Front-End Development. You'll learn a lot and challenge yourself while building a hands-on, fun and useful app as your final project. The lessons are clear and straight to the point. The Slack community is great to meet other coders and ask for help with your project.

I have been interested in coding for a while but I have always been thrown off by the costs of bootcamps online, and the worry of not having any computer science experience. After reading through the website and attending the free coding class, I was super excited about the opportunity to learn in an affordable and judgement free environment. I was not disappointed! This workshop has been easy to follow, extremely educational, and fun to do. I don't think I've ever enjoyed working on a project so much. Matt's videos are short and to the point without feeling overwhelming. I will definitely be continuing on with the courses offered by SheCodes and cannot recommend these workshops enough!
Writing code was a daunting task for for me at first. With almost no IT experience, I didnβt know where to begin or what questions to ask, and it was a roller-coaster of attempts & emotions. SheCodesPlus replied to many of my questions, managing to keep me interested for more! The best part was that I could completely trust their team for real-time support. I heard about SheCodes through an event in my university and I realized that could be a good idea for someone who has no knowledge about computers and programming. During these 3 weeks, I had a lot of fun because I combined two things that I really like: puzzles and logic, and created a passion for coding Thank you Matt Delac for believing in girls that also can learn how to code .
The program was beginner friendly, I had really fun experience throughout my learning progress!
I really enjoyed learning the basics of coding in this 3-week workshop. Matt was able to break things down into snippets that make it easy to digest. I don't feel too much pressure on time even with a full-time job. I was an absolute beginner before starting this and now I'm proud to be able to build a simple web page. I still have much to learn, I know this barely scratched the surface but overall I had so much fun learning and that's the most important part.π―
I decided to try SheCodes to get an insight into the world of writing software, to understand better the process of writing code and the challenges developers face on a daily basis. I believe it will make me a better HR and recruiter. Since I am continuing with the next stage of SheCodes I also hope it will provide a foundation solid enough to partially transition to QA as well. These three weeks were fun and very educational and I would recommend it to everyone no matter the profession or age.

It was a super fun and exciting journey on learning the basics of HTML, CSS and JS! I have been a Tech Recruiter for a while and always surrounded with software engineers. This course opened my eyes and helped me to get a better understanding on how things are built on the Front-end side and I feel this will help me in my further career! These emotions, when you write your first function, build your first button and it works - are unbelievable! :) Matt is a great teacher and explains everything very nicely and in a fun manner. I've got tons of inspiration on learning more within coding. I can strongly recommend this course to everyone!
Great course from start to finish! The number of lessons each week was initially quite daunting and I wasn't sure at first whether I would have the time to fit them in around work, but once I started and got to know the format, I found it flowed really well. The challenges were fun but tough, there was a really good balance between difficulty and enjoyment. I loved creating my final project and can't wait to keep practicing and building on these new skills.
Matt is an amazing instructor: He managed to explain the most complex things in an easy and fun way. I never learned so much in such a short time. But I also never had so much fun doing it. That was an interesting course for learning the basics. I liked the setting and the presentations. Sometimes I felt overwhelmed by the amount of content, but actually it is not a big deal. It is like everywhere in life: the more you practice, the better you become. I had fun during that course as well... and this is said by someone who totally disliked IT and coding beforehand because of shi*** experience at University. I really enjoyed the introduction to coding with SheCodes! I had been thinking about changing into product management for a long time but wasn't sure if I would like the coding aspects of it. I was really doubting if I would be able to do it and what's more important if I would enjoy it. These last few weeks have been extremely interesting and exciting for me. I had so much fun learning and creating new things. I find coding very rewarding as you see the results of your work almost immediately. I especially loved the final project as you get the chance to create something on your own and get to be really creative. The videos provided by Matt were very easy to follow and I learned a lot in such a short time! The community provided by SheCodes is great as you can both find help and help others! It feels like a safe space to ask any questions if you ever get stuck and you always get very quick feedback from the nice SheCodes team if the other girls can't help you out. I would absolutely recommend SheCodes and I am so much looking forward to continuing my learning in SheCodes Plus!
LOVED IT! I have been wanting to try coding to see if I liked it for a while but I was reluctant as I had no previous experience whatsoever with coding and I had no idea if it would be something I could actually do, or enjoy. I watched the SheCodes Video and decided that I would give it a try. Surprisingly, I enjoyed this 3 months more than I was expecting as the videos are easy to follow, Matt gives you great advice and if we get stuck, we can always count on the team to help us out on Slack. It was challenging at times, but also very rewarding when you get to see the result of something you have built. The project at the end was a lot of fun because it was more personal.
