SheCodes workshop offers an insight into the world of coding, making it both accessible and ENJOYABLE for absolute beginners like me! I was thinking about taking up a course for quite some but I was also very hesitant, thinking I will not manage to complete it without any background programming knowledge. I couldn't be more wrong! Coding with SheCodes was engaging, interesting, colorful and it was fun! I felt motivated at all times and wanted to submit all challenges without fail. I'm submitting my final project now and I'm sad it's already over but I also have no doubt that I can take up higer level courses and I will succeed in these as well. Thank you!

My SheCodes adventure has been a fun & delightful one. Like all good things, It has now come to an end, but i will hopefully keep in touch with the team & fellow students through Slack. I thoroughly enjoyed discovering & gaining some basic skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript & React. It will help me continue to learn on my own, but i'm not ready to apply for a development job yet. Skills would need to be further developed & honed for me to feel confident enough to hold a position in this field. ~ I'm grateful to Matt for the clarity & practicality of his lessons very suitable for beginners, & i also would like to give a special shout-out to JoΓ£o who's always been so quick to answer my questions & help me figure out what's wrong every time i had an issue with my challenges or projects. SheCodes is a great platform to learn coding. We can code at home but also within group under professional help. Lessons are very scheduled on weekly basis. It is a challenging but fun experience.
I always knew I wanted to change career paths, just didn't know how, but since the 60 minute SheCodes intro I kow this was the way. I learnt a lot since the very beginning as the lessons are very clear and the challenges are very nice and fun way to practice.
Matt was very fun and easy-going throughout the workshop which made everything easy. The Slack community is a huge bonus! Full of capable people helping each other 24/7. I would definitely recommend the workshop.
I had tons of fun. Yes, thereβs definitely some frustrating times but all the support you get from the community and Matt alike, just gets you going! I knew zero to zilch about Code and now I feel like a competent ninja, inspecting different websites to identify what we learn throughout the workshop. Itβs a great place to start if you want to figure out if youβll like coding or not, and venture this vast world. Iβll be upgrading soon and I absolutely recommend it to anyone.
It was great learning the basics of coding! Matt always explains everything clearly, sometimes with funny analogies to make things easier to understand, and I've been having fun doing the challenges and homeworks. I can't wait to start SheCodes+ and learn even more!
I was always interested in learning how to code, but never thought that I would get the chance. When I first came upon a SheCodes ad, I was immediately intrigued; and when my employer asked me to attend further training during my short-term work, I jumped at the opportunity β and never regretted it. Being totally absorbed in the learning videos and corresponding challenges, hours pass without me realising it. I immensely enjoy putting what I just learned into action and canβt believe how far Iβve already come in such a short period of time. Coding can be challenging, but it is also a lot of fun and extremely rewarding. If you are unsure whether you should sign up for one of the workshops, do it! I'm sure you won't be disappointed! π

In the past I had a short adventure with coding while my studies and after that experienced I was sure, coding is not something for me. Few years after that experience I decided to give a chance to SheCodes and I'm extremely happy I did! Each SheCodes lesson is explained very well and it makes the whole learning experience fun :) I highly recommend it to anyone, who wants to learn at least basics of coding.

This 3 weeks with SheCodes was lot of fun and I loved the teaching style of Matt as well as his instructions. I am happy I started to learn code and its just the beginning of a beautiful journey.
This workshop has been an enjoyable learning experience. I think it was structured well - being able to build my own weather app from design and then adding functionality to it step by step was useful and fun!

Building my own project with SheCodes Plus was very challenging but also fun and I learned a lot!
The Plus course was well structured. The level was high, nevertheless really fun to learn new topic each week. The weekly homework allow you to apply what was learned directly on your own project which was really helpful. Overall you get a good insight into what coding/front-end development is all about. Thank you for this fun experience and I would love to continue coding.
I definitely enjoyed this 3-week course. Its structured so that it is easy to follow and self-paced, the way that it is taught also makes it such a fun process. I found it very interesting and challenging and I learnt so much. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants an introduction to web development or even who just wants to try something new.

It's embarrassing but I was Java developer 10 years ago...π , and now I am on business side for my professional career. However, the background of "Tech + Business" have become my advantage. The technology is always evolving, and it is hard to catch up all the time if there is less opportunities like my current situation to leverage its skillset. Therefore, the learning through SheCodes Plus made me be up to date! It's fun more than anything else! ππ

I had a lot of fun on this! I thoroughly enjoyed this course and learning how to build this app from scratch. The pacing of the lessons allows you to build up on your knowledge and practice new concepts straight away.
I recommend the workshops by all my heart! It wasn't that easy to keep up with all deadlines because of crazy Xmas time nevertheless I've managed because it was SO MUCH FUN to finally understand what it is all about π Formula of the course is great and thanks to the small steps method you quickly gain necessary knowledge of tools and skills to create your own basic web page and the best part of it you can continue to learn individually thanks to Matt's tips. He is great teacher, I gradually got addicted to his voice π I'd love to continue this challenging adventure of coding with SheCodes! If all online courses were created like that, I would have end by only learning stuff on the Internet π Chapeau Bas!
Coding with SheCodes has been so much fun! The idea of coding before was very intimidating but Matt does an excellent job at teaching and explains everything so well. I've learnt so much and so excited for the rest of the workshop!

What a journey! I spent many years trying to teach myself how to make a website. I spend countless hours researching how to do this. In the amount of time that I kept trying to make a completely functional site. I became a Financial Educator started building my business from the ground up. I thought I had my life figured out. Once the pandemic hit. Everything changed and I want to embrace that change with all that I have. It's been almost a year now. Thanks to SheCodes the time it took me to learn how to make a site has been so much less. In 3 weeks I'm able to make something functional and beautiful. The skills I have learned could truly take me places while adding to my current career and opportunity is in the air again. I'm excited to continue with the next two courses and I can't wait for what the future has in store for me.

Basic SheCodes course is a great solution for all women who would like to see a kind of a demo version of HTML,CSS and Javascript :) After 3 weeks of learning with Matt, I managed to memorize and I'm able to use basic functions of mentioned languages. It was a lot of fun, too! Matt has a natural teaching talent, lessons are well structured,a student doesn't become overwhelmed at any point of time. Thanks a lot SheCodes team. It was a fun experience, nice introduction for begginers but too expensive for everything available on the internet today. If you're lazy as I am to explore the free content available, this is a perfect introduction course for you. But for the money spent, I have expected more. Continuing with free online courses but thank you for giving me basic coding knowledge.

I have always been interested in coding. However, I also thought that it is kind of a mystery and hardly possible to learn without sacrificing years to it. Well, then my friend mentioned SheCodes and all my prejudices fell while watching the free class. These three weeks were so much fun and informative. I thoroughly enjoyed this coding course, and perhaps think it's something I've found a real interest in!! I work in digital advertising and now feel I understand a lot more about what happens in the background of my work. I can't recommend this course enough. The classes were easy to follow along, and didn't feel like a serious lecture - Matt makes it fun and it's as if you're just being shown something by a colleague! Anybody can do this.
