Absolutely amazing! Never thought coding could be so much fun!
SheCodes is very easy to follow, and the projects are really fun! I really enjoyed coding my final project, I challenged myself and following Matt's workshops created something I never thought I would be able to do after three weeks. I would highly recommend!
Learning to code has been such a rush. For a person, known as a "people-person" and having worked in predominantly direct-care and management roles, this workshop helped me tap into my creative side and offered a much needed refreshing change of pace. (and hopefully career path!) Matt's lessons are clear, challenging, and fun. I learned so much in a few short weeks and really looking forward to continuing on to SheCodes+
There are several moments where it did get hard. But the slack channel of SheCodes is a great way to get some help. Even fellow students will help out too. The whole experience from start to finish has been fun and very exciting. As the saying goes, "Knowledge is power"
SheCodes 3 Week Workshop was a fantastic introduction to HTML, CSS and JS. I had so much fun and am looking forward to learning more in the advanced workshops!
Before SheCodes I tried to learn code on my own but without success, because I got stuck or bored. SheCodes is well structured, really easy to follow and fun. The challenges after each lesson give you a great amount of practice and there's plenty of support along the way. Thank you Matt, Lexi, Joao and Daniela.

It was great fun learning some basic coding. Incredibly well-structured program. You learn the skills that are in demand today without outdated information and you are super flexible. I was afraid to begin, but after watching Matts videos, trying and failing..hehe. As someone who had no experience in coding prior to the course, I found the workshop structure and content fun and challenging, a great balance to keep your motivation and curiosity going. Matt has a way of teaching which makes it easy to follow and understand, his team is also very helpful and are there for you whenever you require assistance. I am so happy to have joined SheCodes Plus after finishing the workshop. I absolutely enjoyed it and I learnt so much. At times it was quite difficult but after all everything made sense to me and we got to create our own weather application that is fully functioning. Matt is a great teacher! I found that SheCodes was the perfect way to learn to code and has given me some great skills to add to my resume. I am determined to continue to learn more coding languages and start a new career. I always were fascinated about coding, but never got the courage to invest as I thought this was really hard and just for math experts. Thanks Matt and SheCodes I found that this is not true and coding is really fun and challenging as a really good game should be. For sure I will do the SheCodes Plus React!

This course has been amazingly challenging, fun and educative. I never thought I could create a website from scratch through programming, let alone doing all that in less than 3 weeks - such a feeling of accomplishment and empowerment! This was challenging but fun! I'm proud that I pulled through. The videos and the challenges helped me understand more about functions and how they work as well as learning how to find useful resources for future projects. It was also interesting to learn the industry's workflow.

The lessons are easy to follow. I never thought I could learn something completely foreign and have so much fun at the same time! My cousin and I are taking the workshop together. It's been a great experience!
I didn't think I was wired to be able to understand or write code but this workshop proved me wrong! The lessons are broken up in a way that's really easy to understand, and there's ample opportunity to practice what you learn. Little has been said about how gratifying it is to fix a coding bug or when you get a function to do what you want it to. I had a lot of fun in this Intro to Coding workshop and would definitely recommend it to others!

I have always wanted to learn coding, but as a worker with a young child, I was very anxious to take that first step. Now, I am disappointed I didn't start sooner! I can't believe how much fun I have had during the last 3 weeks, and it's really given me a boost and helped me find some more confidence within myself. Over the past three weeks, I had a lot of fun learning how to code! The course was very easy to understand and I could watch the videos and do the challenges whenever I had some free time. I highly recommend this course to all, who are interested in getting started with coding.
Step-by-step tutorials help heaps to understand the mechanism of the backside of a website I have never known. It's exciting and so much fun to learn. I am looking forward to advancing the knowledge and technics of coding hoping to get good at it. I am convinced that SheCode can teach and take me to a whole new pathway so that I will have more confidence to look up for my future!
I was definitely one of those people who thought coding would be ridiculously hard. It is learning a new "language", after all. However, Matt makes these courses succinct enough to grasp the concepts and practice on your own with homework, and does a great job explaining the tougher lines of code which could get tricky. The work was definitely engaging and it was really fun crafting my own landing page. I thought this 3 week course was the perfect way to get my feet wet in the world of coding. I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus!
I've been interested in learning code for a while, but it always seemed intimidating. The lessons on SheCodes are set up so well! It was fun to watch everything unfold and I felt confident experimenting on my own. Matt not only teaches you how to do things, he also teaches you how to figure things out if you run into something you aren't so familiar with. Those resources make everything less intimidating because I knew I could find the answer. And having a community to connect with via slack was very helpful!!

I have really loved my SheCodes experience and have found the course extremely useful and a lot of fun! I have really appreciated being able to learn in my own time, at my own pace but with a target deadline at the end of every week. The flexibility has worked perfectly for me since I work full-time and the set deadlines have kept me motivated. The lessons are a good length and explained well. The practical challenges, homework and final assignments which follow these offer enough of a challenge to feel like you are learning something but not too difficult that you feel overwhelmed. The SheCodes platform has been very friendly and approachable to use and I have looked forward to every lesson and every challenge. It's very satisfying when you get it right! Many thanks to Matt whose videos have been very clear and easy to follow. He's a great teacher who explains things well and makes the whole experience fun. I'm looking forward to starting the Plus course now!
After pursuing SheCodes workshop, I decided to keep learning code with SheCodes Plus and I did not regret it. It was a very enriching experience and also rewarding : I made my first fully functional weather app. What an accomplishment!

I learned programming from scratch here. I can absolutely recommend the course because the individual steps are explained very well and it was just so much fun to experiment with the new knowledge and see the direct results. Perfect combination of theory and practice.

Learning React was very challenging, but it ultimately was fun to learn something new and popular framework. Highly recommend.
SheCodes showed me that coding can be fun even for people coming from backgrounds other than computer sciences. The structure of the course, the daily challenges and weekly homework, and constant support by the support team, are just some of the things that made this experience so special. I believe this program is a wonderful initiative in bridging the gender gap in programming, and would definitely recommend it to anyone trying to gain experience in this field.
I recommend this workshop for two reasons. Matt knows what he's talking about! He's gives us lots of tools and resources that I would not know about if I did not take the course. JoΓ£o is truly a miracle worker. He has helped me every step of the way and I honestly think I learned the most from him. As a total noob, seeing how he would fix my code and how he would make things function is both educating and inspiring.

I am not from a technology background in the slightest. I've been sewing theatrical costumes for a living for 12 years. This course was completely comprehensive and fun! I'm such a visual learner, so being able to see my work with every small change made this learning process so great.
It was a great workshop and I really enjoyed the time spent. It's quite challenging but a lot of fun and Matt is a great teacher so it is easy to follow along. I would recommend 100%!
This workshop offered me a great foundation that I didn't have before and I had so much fun exploring the different challenges presented with each lesson. I can easily see myself going back to do them again to refresh my memory later on, which is why still having access to all the content even after finishing is such a good bonus.

SheCodes helped me introduce myself into the programming world and showed me I shouldn't be afraid of coding. I learned that something that started as a hobby during my boredom in covid times could be fun and straightforward. I appreciated how smooth and understandable starting to learn to code can be. I still have a long road to go, but SheCodes sure motivated me to keep going through this road!
I had such a fun time learning SheCodes Plus! Although a lot of the material was difficult and sometimes frustrating, it was so worth it and satisfying in the end. I loved building my weather app and it was amazing to see my final product actually work. I am so excited to continue learning and to be able to use these skills in the future!
I had lots of fun while learning to code. The videos are short, sharp and snappy and I am so pleased with the different things I have been able to make. I was able to code around my work and this has given me a greater respect for coders!
For sure a more challenging course which kept me up until late in the night working on my code and wondering why some of my functions were just not working π However thanks to JoΓ£o from SheCodes everything worked out in the end. I am very happy with the result of my project and all in all it was a lot of fun!
So when I was a kid, I was learning a bit of css. I always liked it, so I always really wanted to learn proper coding! And I'm so happy I found this page! Everything is explained so well, that it feels more like having fun than studying! Everything's so easy to understand! I love SheCodes and definitely will keep learning how to code with them! π

The workshop was a great opportunity to refresh my knowledge on HTML and CSS and learn first steps in JavaScript. Sometimes the pace was a little bit too fast to my taste. If I hadn't known some of the stuff before I believe I would have been a little lost. But all in all it is a great workshop. I had lots of fun learning new stuff.

It was great to see my 1st coding project ever coming to life! SheCodes Plus has been an amazing adventure to me. Challenges were of course part of it, but I still can't believe I made it to a functioning weather app. There's much more to learn about coding, but I'm glad I could learn some useful skills during the last 8 weeks.
The workshop is clear and easily understandable. Built up in detail and with understanding of it's users knowledge level. Will absolutely recommend everyone to do at least the first course. I'm about to begin my second course after a fun and useful beginners course.
Never imagined learning to code, let alone that I would have so much fun with it... The Workshop is organized in a very effective way, with small lessons that allow us to make small progress at a time and never lose motivation. I really recommend!
So much fun! I thought it was accessible and gave me so many tools to further my curiosity. I like the structure of the mini steps, which helped implement the lesson. I got stuck on a few things but I was able to find my way out, which I think is super important. Don't take shortcuts and try to make coding everyday a habit. Soon it will come second nature, and you will be excited to learn more.
