I loved SheCodes workshops! I went through 3 weeks already and absolutely fell IN LOVE with coding! Can't wait for 3 more months of this adventure. I recommend you all to see how fun it is yourself.
The workshop was sofar amazing... I was wondering, if I will be able to understand coding, but the tutorials are perfectly made. Matt is also a very cool guy and super helpful. I definitely have a long way to go, but it worths the time and the effort, because it makes so much fun to create stg new and nevertheless coding ist the future... I'm very happy that I decided to subscribe, would do it again! Keep going guys!

I would highly recommend the SheCodes React Workshop! It is a challenging step up from vanilla JavaScript to begin with, but Matt does a great job at walking through all the key elements of the framework. I am really pleased with how my final project turned out, and now I have another project to add to my developer portfolio, as well as a new framework in my toolkit. A few months ago I couldn't even write a single line of HTML, and now I can make fully functional applications!

Easy-to-understand lessons in a slow enough pace but with good challenges, that will make you research some things on your own as well as let you be creative. Very sympathetic design and examples. It was fun for me to navigate the SheCodes page... and to create my own pages. Looking forward to the SheCodes Plus and React!
It's the best investment you could make. The lessons are so easy to follow and they are SO much fun! Nonetheless, it is such an easy way to learn so many things to get you started in the world of coding!
The SheCodes 3-week beginner workshop was great fun and well-structured! I really enjoyed learning about HTML, CSS and JavaScript and I feel that I now have a good foundation of skills to build onπ I can't wait to keep learning.
I recommend SheCodes coding course for beginners to anyone who wants to get started with programming or just to get some basic knowledge about htms, css & javascript. The structure of the course was captivating. I liked that the instructional videos were short and specific, and were followed by tasks about what was learned in the videos. At the end of each week there was a more complex homework, that required a little longer focus and putting together what was learned throughout the week. Learning was fun & exciting, like a game :) Thanks!

Coding first caught my eye this summer when I felt I was done with running restaurants and I decided to learn a new skill. I did not know a lot about coding but the more I learned the more I love it. These past weeks have been a lot of hair-pulling and screaming in frustration, but mostly it has been amazingly fun and overall a great experience! I look forward to learn more and build a career in coding.
SheCodes Plus provided a rigorous and immersive 6-week advanced coding workshop that finely crafted and sharped skills learned in the previous 4-week course. Each lesson equipped us with the skills to complete the challenging daily assignments and weekly projects and was exciting applying what I learned in the lessons to create my own functioning weather application. I am very excited to continue my coding journey in the next React course!
It was so much fun to get a first impression of coding with the 3 weeks beginners workshop! The videos are super easy to follow and the project in the end is very rewarding, as you can try out your skills on a topic that interests you. I will definitely recommend it to my friends! I started the workshop just to see how and what coding can be like ... and WOW, it's so much fun.
This was a great and rewarding experience I would really recommend to anyone curious about coding. I was a total beginner and a little sceptical about the claims that this course can kick start a career as an actual coder. However, I feel it's a really effective foundation and there are lots of really useful tips on resources that I would not be able to get from anywhere else given I don't work within tech nor know any developer and internet is so full of information, this really strips it down to what you ACTUALLY need to know. I definitely have more to learn, but it's really fulfilling, fun and you get all the support to achieve a lot in a very short time. I did this course so that I can look back to 2020 and feel I've achieved something, and I can happily say this has definitely delivered on that ambition :)

I had such a fun time learning React and I can't wait to continue my coding journey. I've enjoyed the way the courses are structured; there are small challenges in every lesson to practice along the way before tackling the bigger weekly homework. Matt also gives an emphasis on correct workflows and gives tips on the best ways of staying organised, which have been really useful. I've recommended SheCodes from the start and I'd love to take another course if more are offered in the future!

I think it is a really nice course, quite easy to understand because of the overall didatics. The only thing I would say is to try to do when you have as much time as you can, because even if it is possible to do the course, the learning process would be enhanced by that. I feel I lack a bit more on the deepening of the if and for functions for java to be more independent, however, there is always someone to help you when necessary.
I could not imagine a better way to start learning programming than with SheCodes and with Matt as an empathic and highly skilled teacher! Thank you a lot SheCodes team and Matt for this fun experience, and I cannot wait to expand my coding skills further with your courses (-:

I enrolled in SheCodes because I wanted to learn more about web development. The course was so engaging, and I learned a ton. I can't believe within three weeks I was able to code a functional website. The instructor is very concise and makes the topics interesting and fun.

I wanted to do something useful during our lockdown in Austria and SheCodes was the perfect choice! I had no prior experience with coding so the workshop was quite challenging at times but when it all suddenly 'clicked' it felt so rewarding :) I had a lot of fun and would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn the basics of coding.
Great structured course, but doesn't go over the more complex part of JavaScript and the functionality of the program!
Three weeks ago I knew nothing about coding, and now I've created my own landing page. π The SheCodes lessons were clear and easy to follow. Homework and weekly challenges were scaffolded and helpful, and I appreciated receiving fast and reliable support-- not to mention connecting with women all over the world via slack! I signed up for SheCodes because I constantly saw it on my Instagram feed. At first, I was reluctant to sign up but in the end, I am glad I did. Matt has a different teaching approach but he explains the fundamentals behind coding very well. This 3-week course barely touches every subject on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript but it has motivated me to continue on my coding journey.

When I signed up for the course I had to google what coding actually was! This workshop has allowed me to discover the basics of coding with CSS, HTML and Java script. It has been so fun learning how to make pages from scratch on my own, and I am excited to continue learning!
It is fun to continue coding with API, GitHub and Bootstrap. The project of building the weather app is also interesting. It makes me very happy to see my code works and that I can share my project with others. This course really broadened my knowledge and opened my eyes to more options in my career development!

Learning to code with SheCodes has been so much fun. Matt is an amazing teacher and explains everything very carefully making it very easy to follow and understand. I love how learning is structured but still gives you the freedom to do it at your own pace. The girls in the slack community are very supportive and ready to help with any problems. I've always been interested in learning programming. A few years ago, I even tried studying computer science at university, however, I didn't like it at all because it was mainly focusing on the theory of it and not really on programming itself :( SheCodes on the other hand was so much fun!! Matt is a really nice and fun teacher. His videos are never boring and you always get to learn so many new things. I'm really, really glad I found an ad for SheCodes on Instagram, otherwise my interest for programming would have been gone forever.
I LOVE SheCodes!!! SheCodes made coding not only approachable but fun. I have a very crazy schedule and with its teaching style and method, SheCodes made the learning process flexible and informative. I enjoyed it so much that after the first lesson I was already calling my mom, Aunts, and church members telling them about it.
My favorite part of the SheCodes workshop was learning by doing, especially with the final project - you get to actively understand what you are doing, not just passively watch coding videos. It was lot of fun, I can highly recommend this format! SheCodes is a great initiative and I highly recommend it.

This was so fun! I was able to apply everything that I have learning during the first workshop, plus other new features that will definetly be very useful! During the classes I was able to use tools and procedures that are applied in "the real world". After completing the final project I was very proud to have built an application with so many awsome features. Once again, Matt was an excellent tutor, and the whole SheCodes team were super nice. Can't wait for the next step :)

I have always been super interested into computers and how they work. I had tried multiple times to learn how to code, without success. I would always drop after a week. At times, I found the course quite challenging but I was determined to not ask for help and find out the solution on my own. It is so rewarding with being able to do it correctly! I would recommend this course to anyone looking to get a basic knowledge of coding. The videos and challenges made it really simple to understand and really enjoyable! The homework and final project that was set was fun as well I'm hoping to be able to continue onto SheCodes Plus soon!

Three weeks flew by, that's how much fun I was having coding. I truly enjoyed every minute of this workshop, many thanks to the overly supportive employees as well. Matt's videos are so easy to follow, he breaks them down into 8-12 minute short videos and then you get to practice with a challenge. The best part is that each wee challenge had something new that you have to figure out on your own. It's so incredible how this workshop can highlight your capabilities. The feeling you get when your code works is addicting. This is my first time coding, and I can't wait for the second chapter with SheCodes.
