SheCodes is just amazing! I had fun while making my projects, learned a lot and now I feel that I can really go forward testing my knowledge by developing new stuff! I certainly recommend SheCodes, especially because we (women) are fewer than men in this field, and this has to change! SheCodes was a great training for the absolute beginner I was. The videos are explaining HTML, CSS, and JAVASCRIPT functionalities very clearly and step by step, you can learn at your own pace which is very pleasant. I highly recommend this course.

Very easy to follow and to stay on schedule. The lessons are split in a practical and convenient way. It is a lot of fun to do the challenges and the homework. Finding motivation was never an issue.

I enjoyed this workshop a lot! The lessons are broken up in ways that make the learning digestible and not overwhelming. I had a lot of fun learning Javascript and I'm excited to learn even more!

I had a blast matching backgrounds and images with all the different weather conditions. With JS I can design some more interactive screens and have a really cool user experience.I am really excited to start the SheCodes REACT course and have a head start on my dev team's react project. It will definitely help me design a better product that functions best with react.
I would definitely recommend joining the SheCodesPlus course as it teaches many interesting and important features for building a website. It's more challenging than the first one but still a lot of fun and rewarding! It would be awesome though if Matt could show us some helpful (keyboard) shortcuts that he uses.
This workshop has been incredible and I'm already planning on upgrading to the SheCodes Pro workshop as soon as I'm able. As someone who has never been good with computers and tech, I decided to give this a try on a whim and I'm so glad I did. I've learned so much from this course and feel more confident than ever. I am extremely satisfied with this workshop! Coding can be very intimidating for absolute beginners but through Matt's great pedagogy and clarity (said from a teacher :p), short but efficient lessons, and regular practice, it is quite mind blowing what one can do within just three weeks of learning! All the new notions are broken down into single blocks of learning to grasp the essential meanings, demonstrated in videos with explanations and documentation too. We then get familiar with these new notions to finally apply them into various tasks. It is a very progressive and fun process. Thank you so much. I am very much looking forward to the next training!
I wanted to learn how to code to start my own blog. 3 weeks ago I didn't know a thing about coding, but after taking SheCodes I have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to write basic code. Matt Delac is a great instructor. He has made learning how to code easy, fun, and practical. I feel very fortunate to have come across SheCodes and enroll in the courses.

This course was very well structured, I had SO much fun and It was completely possible to achieve parallel to my full-time job as an Architect. I had some previous coding background (but this previous learning experience was really painful and I hated it, I think because I couldn't understand it). I can just say that during this course I finally found the "love" for coding and I'm ready to continue the following courses until I become a "pro" in Front End-Development. Do not hesitate to try it, really, I think anyone could enjoy this! Happy Coding! :)
SheCodes Plus is a good workshop for beginners. In this course you will get the understanding of the concept, structure, development, bug fixing and deployment of an application. Matt teaches you the basics to build a functional app.
Back in my early teenager years, I taught myself basic HTML/css through wanting to customize my myspace and xanga pages. I didn't really know what I was doing but found a new fun hobby and spent hours at my computer trying to make my page look nice. As those social media applications died down so did my new hobby and I didn't really think about how much I enjoyed coding until SheCodes. Although I am currently in the world of finance, I really appreciate the time I spent in this bootcamp and grateful for sharpening my once buried skill. Coding is fun and I hope to keep practicing my skill in my free time with a possibility of an industry change down the road.
I'm from Tel Aviv, Israel, which is often referred as the High-Tech Nation, but I've always felt like the world of coding is for people who are way smarter and creative than I. However I was curious and intrigued by SheCodes workshops as they made everything look so fresh, welcoming and, well, more suitable for women in general. SheCodes was honestly more fun that I thought it would be! Matt's videos are easy to follow with bite size pieces of information and learning. I have always been interested in learning how to code and SheCodes makes it easy to approach a complex topic.
This course is really fun! It's a natural graduation from the Basics and Plus courses which enables you to really cement key principles. As always, the course is broken down into very manageable ,and enjoyable, steps. I really liked this course, however completed it much quicker than expected as there is overlap with the SheCodes Plus course. I still think it's worthwhile and offers valuable content.
This workshop was a great start! The challenges are fun and encouraging. Every step is really clear and well explained. It's also great to have access to the chat for support along the way and sharing thoughts about the different exercices. I'm excited to keep learning!

I would definitely recommend SheCodes. I didn't have any experience in coding, but yet with the instructional videos and information it was quite easy (and fun!) to complete the challenges. Matt is a good teacher, he has a good pace and his enthusiasm is pleasant to listen to and learn from. The first workshop has definitely sparked my interest in coding.
This course is incredibly useful and it's great to see the progress in building the app. It was challenging and fun at the same time. React is much easier to use and understand than VanillaJS, so I felt less overwhelmed in terms of notions and learnings. The lessons are well-structured and the Slack community is supportive in the case you feel stuck.

SheCodes is one of the best beginner coding courses I've taken. Matt is a great instructor - his ability to breakdown the coding language concepts into easily digestible, bite-sized lessons, made learning fun and enjoyable. This is an extremely important workshop to understand CSS positioning and to build great responsive websites. I have had as much fun as in the previous workshops. Every step gives me a wonderful feeling of accomplishment that makes me only think that I wanna learn more and more about frontend development.
SheCodes is a fun and effective way to learn coding. The support network is immense with clear step by step examples teaching you the logic behind codes. I thoroughly enjoyed the program every step of the way.
I've been trying to learn coding for many years, but to no avail. I was at the verge of giving up on ever learning how to code when I came across the SheCodes advertisement on YouTube. Like how any regular language is taught, SheCodes teaches coding by explaining the very basics - definitions of each "vocabulary", how to use "punctuations", how to structure the "grammar" of the language, and even how to source for bugs and search for solutions when our codes do not work. The programme not also teaches the fundamental knowledge, but it scaffolds for future independent development. Its an amazing programme and definitely worth the investment.

I really like the workshop. I have been thinking about learning the basics of coding for a few months but never found an interesting and realistic course. As expected, it was a lot of trial and error to get the project to look the way I wanted. I know it's not perfect (as I'm a novice), but I had a lot of fun with the project! I also like that Matt had the students seek answers on our own, just like we'll have to do in the real world. π

I have a scientific background so coding for me was really a new (and exciting) experience! I have always had a keen eye for details and thought how fun and cool would be to create projects related to typography, colours and patterns. Since last year I decided to look for courses within tech that could utilize these skills. As soon as I found SheCodes I sign up for the webinar, and after that, I decided to go forward. I couldn't be happier with what I have learnt so far. Matt and all the team is really helpful and I definitely recommend it. I am very inclined to jump to the advanced course π
