Wow, at first; I never thought or imagined I could get to this stage. Coding is interesting when you give you mind and commitment to it. I am inspired to continue learning. Changing a career path and learning something brand new can be challenging. I was sceptic at first if coding was something for me and overwhelmed by the variety of schools and courses offering workshops to code. I found that ScheCodes has been a smart, available and fun workshop offering skilful and on-demand knowledge. I HIGHLY recommend shecodes basics to all beginners. I really had so much fun coding and hope to go further in the futur. The SheCodes Responsive course is a MUST! It was so helpful to learn the little tricks that can be added to your code to make websites look and operate smoothly across various devices! It's been a fun and also tough ride! Especially half way I spent a lot of time problem solving. But that's part of learning and made me even more proud of the progress I've made. I would recommend this course to any woman interested in coding. I also enjoyed helping out fellow students on Slack after I've finished my own challenges.

As a SheCodes graduate I am happy to have completed this module .The road of completing the challenges and homework was filled with ups and downs, but in the end when the code worked it made me so happy. I had so much fun in completing the final project and gave me so many ideas about future projects I would love to develop.

It was super intrigued and fun to work on two React projects in this course. Transforming all the ideas I had in the Plain JS version of the weather application to React was quite a headache for me, but at the same time really worth it. Special thanks to Joao for his support to get me out of React exhaustive loops. Also I find the what-to-do-next after SheCodes courses sent by SheCodes team very helpful. It's actually introduced me to Udacity courses to deepen my knowledge further in React.
I loved learning new things in this course. Creating and coding my own weather app showed me that coding can be so much fun! I would recommend everyone to try this experience!
All levels of workshops here in SheCodes was worth to take because in the end of the day you will find yourself very productive despite of being from zero coding skills. Sometimes it's depressing when you'll find yourself in the middle of nowhere when coding BUT with the great help of the SheCodes Team and the people behind it, you'll be able to be back on the fun of coding. One of my goals this year was to create a personal portfolio website, so I was extremely excited that SheCodes released this workshop on Responsive web design! This workshop was fun, informative, and easy to follow. I'm so thrilled to now have a website of my very own that I can grow and refine as I continue to build my coding skills!

Learning Javascript was very challenging, but the step-by-step videos with Matt demystify the entire process and even made it a lot of fun going through the lessons. It is mandatory to dedicate a few hours of practice.

I wanted to improve my knowdeledge and i decided to take this short course, it was challenging for sure, but with a great method and super fun!
Learning the basics of coding is fundamental. I know by experience as my first taste of coding I jumped right into Python and I was scarred. I could not understand what certain variables or tools it applies to so I put coding on a stop. Then I started seeing SheCodes on my IG ad feeds and reading its testimonials from other students that made me want to jump back onto coding and its one of the best decision for my 2021 goals!

In comparison to the introduction workshop, this one was really challenging for me as I already had basic HTML and CSS knowledge, but not JavaScript. In the end, I was able to make everything work and I can say: It's amazing what you can learn in just a few weeks! Thank you Matt and the team for making coding such an awesome and fun experience. I'm hungry to learn more π
The SheCodes course were fun to do and I really enjoyed the time spend on this. The explanation were easy to follow and you were able to get help whenever you were in a pinch. I definitely recommend these courses as you will learn a lot while having fun.

Such an amazing journey it's been for me, from learning the fundamentals of Web Dev, to Vanilla JS and now React. After so many frustrating and expensive online tutorials and courses, SheCodes was a breath of fresh air for someone with no coding background like me. Matt is a fantastic teacher, he really knows his stuff! Every workshop is well designed and a lot of thought was put into these. Concepts are conveyed with examples and described in a simple and easy fashion, so you don't feel overwhelmed. The lessons are super easy to follow, and homework and projects are great to put everything into practice by yourself. Couldn't recommend more!

This was a very fun workshop, I really enjoyed it. I did know a bit about HTML and CSS before doing this workshop, so it wasn't hard for me, but I think if i didn't have that prior knowledge i would have struggled. I know its only a 3 week workshop but i wish we would have gone more into depth.
I'm a UX designer and took the workshop to learn how to code so I can better communicate and collaborate with developers. I was surprised how much fun it was to code! Matt is great at explaining important concepts and showing you how to code, but he doesn't spoon-feed you everything. He gives you the resources so you learn to research and trouble shoot. Of course there's a whole community of students and Matt himself on Slack to help and support you too when you're stuck. Matt is a rock star and I enjoyed SheCodes Radio while I was coding. It's been an amazing experience and I highly recommend it to everyone!
SheCodes React workshop has been intense and super fun. I surely want to learn more about JavaScript and React, but now I have same solid base to continue my journey into coding.
I have been enjoying being part of this SheCodes. Though I can learn through the flexibility and privacy in my own home . it worked well with busy scheduling, and expectation were clear and upfront. React has been more challenging than the previous workshops but still very fun and enriching. One of the most exciting workshops iv done, everything was unraveled and made so easy to understand. Have always been interested in learning how to code and i am so glad i did it with SheCodes its been so much fun and informative at the same time. Cant wait to enrol for more workshops.
I really enjoyed the workshop and the format in which it's taught. The content and length of the videos made working through the course really manageable to fit in to the rest of your day. This format made studying with a baby at home far less scary than it sounds! I found myself always happy to watch the next video and complete the next challenge, even when tired after a long day. Videos were engaging and challenges were fun. Cannot wait to continue on with SheCodes.

It was highly enjoyable and a great learning experience! There were many roadblocks throughout this course but the challenge is well worth it! Overall, coding this app from scratch was pretty fun and I feel like I REALLY accomplished learning something complex at a pace that works for me.

Learning how React works was very fun and interesting. The algorithms of loopings were quite new for me. The projects that are developed during the course are useful and fun, they are well guided and the developers have room for own investigation and creativity. Thank you!

Every SheCodes workshop is short but detailed enough to make the content easy to understand and remember. After every workshop there is a little challenge to apply the information you just learned - for me it was perfect because I learn through repetition. I had so much fun in these first three weeks and I loved how much I have already learned. It has already opened so many doors for me - albeit mentally - and I can't wait to dive further into the coding world.
The React workshop was by far the most challenging thing, but also the most fun part of my journey so far. It was full of hours of trying to do the same thing different ways and it failing, as well as the joys of finally figuring out what I wanted to do and having the rush of making a part of the app work well. I recommend this workshop to those that are fine with failing twenty to thirty times before succeeding, because you will hit many walls, at least I did. I will continue what I learned in React and will further hone my skills with other projects.
I loved this course. I've been wanting to learn to code for ages and this really helped consolidate my knowledge and made me feel incredibly confident in the languages, terms and techniques. I'm also a very visual learner, so this workshop really played to my strengths. I can't believe I built a fully functional weather application, I'm stoked! Can't wait for the next course!
Incredibly fun, pushes you creatively with every project
I've tried apps and games that teach you to code but I never understood what was happening. I just wasn't engaged and I couldn't grasp the information. Now I don't know how this was ever hard for me to learn. SheCodes does a wonderful job with catering to different styles of learning. the workshop didn't only make coding fundamentals easy, it made it kinda fun, too.
I learned a lot and had a fun time in this class. I can't wait to continue on and build my skills further. I'm thankful for Shecodes giving me the boost I needed.

I decided to try the 3 week program because I wanted to understand coding, sure, this is just a small sample of everything that coding entails, but it was an amazing course!! Explaining it like learning a language really helped me take away the fear and intimidation behind the word βcodeβ and made it fun, challenging and exciting!! Iβm not sure if Iβll take the next courses, but Iβm extremely grateful to this program for allowing me to see that if I wanted, I can continue, and that I can code!!! How awesome and exciting is it to say that?! At almost 42, I can code π₯°. Iβm proud to show my daughter that, no matter what age or stage of life youβre in, you can always transform, learn and grow. Fun intro to front-end development!
This was a great intro to JS and working with APIs! Pretty easy to follow, and challenging enough to be interesting. I had a lot of fun working on my final project, and I'm eager to learn more about React and responsive development now.
Thoroughly recommended this course. I was an absolute coding beginner and found the workshop both challenging but fun. only wish I did this long time ago.

I am so happy I finished the advanced Plus workshop. It was fun and challenging, I highly recommend it! β¨ With this course, Matt has given me a profund close up to HTML, CSS and JavaScript; considering that 2 months ago I had no idea of what coding was, and now I can make a fully functional project! Amazing! I now feel confident to use this new knowledge as a UX Designer. π Definitely will continue to expand my knowledge in programming. SheCodes Plus built on what I learned in the initial class. It was a really great transition and helped me hone the skills I had while adding extra layers of complexity. I especially enjoyed learning the API integration and it made me more comfortable in JavaScript when developing functions and sorting through arrays. Matt's videos are great and the SheCodes team is phenomenal at answering questions and helping you work through issues.
I knew nothing about React before this course, and now I am a huge fan. As someone who tries to keep things organized, I liked the efficiency of building UI components into a huge library. I can see why more and more developers are using it! While this course was a challenge, it was one worth taking. I'm glad that SheCodes added a second project to this course because I felt more confident the second time around and I had a lot of fun creating it. I'm so proud to add two new projects to my portfolio.
