This was a very exciting course to be part of and learn from. It is very easy to understand and learn from what is provided, but the most amazing part is that you don't learn like a "parrot", you have to apply code and thinking of your own. You get help from a tech team and your fellow learners which is great! I had so much fun with my final project and intend to just keep making it better and creating other fun projects.
I have enjoyed learning to code through SheCodes. It has been challenging at times, but fun and a great journey. I was intimidated at first regarding software development. I started without knowing a thing about coding; but now feel comfortable and excited to take on the challenge in learning new languages and tools. I feel good about what I have accomplished and enjoy it. The instructors are awesome in helping you figure out problems and issues you might come across. An engaging, exciting and fun course! The last 3 weeks have been challenging but rewarding - I have learnt plenty in a short space of time. Being surrounded by such a supportive community has made the topic of coding that much more enjoyable. I highly encourage anyone who is new to coding to enroll in this workshop. Not only is this course entailed with comprehensive content, you are also given plenty of opportunities to apply the content with the extra advantage of having this reviewed by peers and tutors.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this course. React is honestly more fun than I expected and I am excited to continue working with it in the future.
The SheCodes workshops are fun and most importantly very supportive to people brushing up on new skills. The format is easy for me to follow and well paced- very doable even for someone with a full time job and long commute.
During the Plus workshop I've become more confident in my own coding skills, building upon the Basic and especially working with Bootstrap as framework has been an experience! Cant wait to learn more and have fun while continuing my coding journey with SheCodes!

I started this course because i was on furlough and wanted to take the opportunity to learn something new and practical. I was nervous to start coding, but SheCodes was the perfect way to do it. I wanted to do something new and different and I came across this SheCodes website. I wasn't sure at first if I'll like it or not, but as soon as I started learning how to code then boom! Here I am, finishing up my first-ever coding course. Wow, what a journey! SheCodes Plus was definitely a challenge, but I feel so accomplished. We went from designing a simple wire-frame, to coding a functional weather app with real data. I never thought I'd go this far, but with patience and practice I created my very first web-app, how cool is that?!

I had a lot of fun building my final project. It was challenging and sometimes felt desperate, but in the end you can always find an answer if you ask or google well enough! It feels that I`ve learnt so much in the course of this project.
SheCodesPlus has been both a fun and challenging journey for me! I enjoyed the fact that I could watch the video lessons as many times as I needed and I could even go back to them after a while in case of doubts! Matt's explanations are clear and easy to follow and the support team on Slack is really competent, kind and helpful! I am really appreciative of all of the hard work behind building/maintaining this project and of the great working opportunities many of us are going to get from the newly-acquired knowledge.

It is a very fun workshop that makes the whole learning experience easy, with simple videos and instructions from Matt, as well as very engaging and interactive experience thanks to the little challenges that will build up to allow you to have the skills required to complete the final project!

I've had such a fun few weeks! Before I started SheCodes, I felt overwhelmed by the number of free classes available online and I didn't know where to start, what language to learn, how to structure my learning etc. SheCodes has made everything very straight forward and I am really enjoying the process. I particularly loved playing with color palettes on CSS and making my HTML update in response to user interaction using .innerHTML on JavaScript. I can't wait for SheCodes Plus!
This was a fun journey. Very easy to understand and to follow due to Matt being a great teacher and teaching step by step. The team on slack were also a great assistance if I got stuck. Had a great time creating and being challenged. I learned a lot in such a short time and I highly recommend!

It is really fun to test one's own recently learned skills in small challenges and to be able to detect mistakes. SheCodes provides an insight into the WorldWideWeb from the other side of the computer.
Wow, this was definitely more challenging than the intro course, but I had a lot of fun building my weather app project. SheCodes is a great coding course that allowing me to learn coding in a clear and fun way. I enjoy the progress and hope that I can keep coding in other platforms or even for some companies or projects in the future.
For the last three years, I have taught second grade in an elementary school setting. During the pandemic, I found a passion for technology and teaching online (unpopular opinion!). I have always loved designing and creating my own resources but had little knowledge on the subject. I realized a couple months ago that I would love to get into the tech world but didn't know where to start. When I attended the free workshop I was blown away by Matt's ability to effectively communicate how to code. I knew I could pick up on it quickly so I joined the course. The last 3 weeks have been so much fun! The course is clear and concise. Matt does a phenomenal job breaking down HTML, CSS and JavaScript into digestible lessons. The challenges really push you and give you a productive struggle. I highly recommend this course!
I would absolutely recommend this course for any beginning or someone who's interested in strengthening their chops! Be forewarned you will have to do a lot of research on your own but I think that's what makes it fun and really helps you learn. Be Brave!

What a fun adventure this has been! I 100% recommend it to all the curious women out there, this is the opportunity to get out of our comfort zones, to understand how much potential we have, to get that feeling of accomplishment, of creating something with our own hands.
