I love SheCodes! Matt's teaching style fit me well and the structure of the classes helped me stay accountable on my learning journey. I've tried other courses but had to take a break from them because they were overwhelming with information overload. I love how SheCodes teaches you what you have to know *at this level* so that you can practice and apply it. I learned some great HTML and CSS that I wish I learned in other classes, and picked up the basics of Javascript in last week! The final project was also really fun! I highly recommend SheCodes!
I loved the workshop!!! I have always struggled to learn to code. But the lessons at SheCodes are easy to follow making it a lot of fun to learn.
It felt like we're already brought into a professional world of web design. The learning process is easy and fun, the tutorials are not at all hard to follow and it allows many creative liberties to be done on the student's part to create something they didn't know they were capable of creating.
wow as the workshop progresses, i've learn more on how to make my website better and better. i can't wait for the next workshop. the community is amazing and so creative keeping up with them is so fun.
Awesome course! Can't believe that I can now code with JS script and make a perfectly functional weather app! Some parts are definitely hard and tricky, but you stick with it and get through! Highly recommend!

I highly recommend SheCodes as a platform for you to learn how to code. At first I really don't have any experiences in coding and I used to think that coding is so difficult that I can't never understand. But when I try SheCodes, I experienced it all myself that coding is not that hard, it is just confusing sometimes, but Matt and SheCodes made it super fun and super easy. I'm happy I joined SheCodes, you should too!

A great introduction to the world of coding, this workshop has given me a great base to continue to learn and realise that coding it is not actually that scary to learn! The workshop was laid out very well and in such a way that made learning easy and fun.
This has been my third SheCodes Workshop and the most fun so far! It was really fascinating to see a whole website come to life from my own lines of code. The freedom to create a website and being able to decide on the topic myself made it very easy to be creative. I can't wait to continue my coding journey with SheCodes and am really looking forward to starting the React Course soon!
I am glad that I made up my mind to start the coding journey with SheCodes. The classes were challenging but fun, and there is always someone to assist you if you are struggling. I can't wait to start my next workshop with SheCodes!
The lessons were easy to follow along with and fun to see the other side of the websites we all use! I joined with absolutely no knowledge of coding and really enjoyed the workshop course.
SheCodes has been a great introduction to coding for me and I have found it a fun and flexible way to learn a new skill around my full time job. The insight I gained on the workshop showed me coding is a skill I would like to take further and it gave me the confidence to apply for a role on the development team at my workplace. I am now part of team creating a reading game application for pupils in school to help advance their reading level.
If you want to learn coding fast I highly recommend this Program. Learning how to code was not really on my list until now. It is really fun to be able to create something online on your own. π
After completing the Basic Workshop I had so much fun learning how to code that I decided I wanted to continue my coding journey. Now that I have completed the Plus workshop, I have decided I want to become a professional front-end developer! I have come to love coding so much and I can't wait to continue on my journey with SheCodes with Responsive and React!
I found the course interesting, challenging, and rewarding, it was really fun to go through it all. The feedback on the projects was always motivating and of course constructive. I have enjoyed these workshops so much. I can't believe it's finished!! I highly recommend them. Two months ago I had no idea what a function was, and I today I feel much closer to being able to ask for a job in the industry. A big shout out to Matt, he makes lessons fun, relaxed and also teaches to have patience while learning. It's not easy to teach technical stuff, but having the right teacher makes all the difference. I'm going to miss my days working on these projects. I love the SheCodes platform and I hope much more women can get on it and learn to Code!

The plus curriculum was a little harder than the first, but still just as fun. I feel like I'm actually learning how to code the right way.
I had never before tried coding and was quite scared this workshop would be too difficult for me. It turned out to be a very pleasant experience where not only I learned a lot, I also had fun while doing so thanks to the easy-to-follow videos that explain everything perfectly.
So... after this SheCodes Basics course, I know: I found a new hobby! At high school, I already had some lessons in HTML and Java. It was fun, but I never did something with coding again. Now, years later, I have developed a huge interest in the field of "Cyber Security", and I was looking for a course about the first fundamentals of programming, to get in that field, maybe someday! I thought about this cours as "a way to get to back-end-development", but I discovered that I really like building websites - front-end - as well! :) I like it so much I am already thinking of continuing this course with Plus or Pro!
SheCodes beginner workshop was so much fun! I love the delivery of content, easy to understand and not overwhelming. I also appreciate the community and support from the mentors and peers. Overall a great environment! I can't wait to move on to SheCodes Plus!

Who knew learning could be this fun! These workshops are incredibly well structured and so easy to understand and follow. Doing homework every week after each lesson and voila - you've created a functioning weather app with no prior knowledge of coding. Absolutely amazing!
I never thought that coding would be so fun. I actually wanted to try something new that does not feel like me, and therefore I chose SheCodes, but now I can trully say that after the workshop I really like coding.

SheCodes basic is a nice introduction to coding. Simple layout, with short videos and theoretical assignments. Very educational and fun.
I would have never thought that coding is so much fun. The course is structured very well and I love the help that you can get on slack because many other students have the same problems and questions. I'm really into it and love the results. It's super fun to create something just on your own. The beginning is tough, but Iβve tried to stay motivated and now Iβm really happy with the result and with what Iβve learned. I've learned a lot and I'm probably I'm going to continue at some point. Thank you for the insight. π
What a fun and challenging journey it has been! I now understand why JS tends to give developers a headache π I have learned so much, and Matt managed to make all this information so much easier and fun to digest. I still can't quite believe I have developed my very own weather app in only 8 weeks. I cannot wait for what is yet to come in the next workshops!

When I first joined SheCodes I was expecting a lot of difficult learning, for some reason and when it started it was easy and fun. It took me a while to finish just three weeks because I am studying in college. I could have finished sooner if I wasn't such a big procrastinator as well. π I ended up just enjoying coding so much I decided to see if there are any degrees at school I can do coding in. Since I did this just for fun I never thought id end up finding out that I have a passion for something more than sleeping, gaming, and anime. π
Highly recommend this course - I had a lot of fun working on my portfolio!

Started from SheCodes Basics to React, by far this was the most challenging course. No doubt the learning curve for React was steep, at times the new concepts and functions were hard to grasp. However, Matt's videos always made easier to comprehend. I can't believe that I was able to build 2 React apps within 8 weeks! Looking forward to what's coming next

These first couple of weeks of SheCodes Basics has been awesome, I really enjoyed learning the basics of how to create a landing page! The final project was lots of fun and provides a great feeling of accomplishment! π Matt is passionate about what he does and an excellent teacher, breaking down the workshop into understandable and well-structured bite-sized lessons! Keeps you interested and wanting to learn more! There is a great team of mentors to provide guidance if you get stuck. I highly recommend this course for anyone with no prior coding experience who wants to learn about Front-End Development. I cannot wait to continue with the next SheCodes Plus workshop! π
SheCodes gave me the opportunity to learn a completely new field... programing! Especially about front-end development and I enjoyed every minute of it! I loved all the SheCodes workshops so much !! they were so fun, colorful, informative and easy to understand. Matt does an amazing job at explaining everything. It was sometimes hard to stop watching the workshop videos because you just want to keep learning. I never knew how easy coding was !!
This was absolutely the most fun course so far. I had so many lightbulb "ah ha!" moments and really felt the need to push myself to make my final product the best that it could be. This course made me feel like I'm ready to code anything! Really looking forward to taking on the next course with all I've learned from this one.
Before I start working on this workshop, I was not sure if I could finish the course because I am a procrastinator when it comes to self-paced. However, once I start learning coding it was really fun and I enjoyed creating something new from scratch. I will keep learning until I am confident enough to explore a new career!
I enjoyed SheCodes Plus as much as I did the introduction course. Learning how to code involves a whole new way of thinking. It has so far been very challenging at times, but it's great fun when you see the end results! It's great that the SheCodes team is always available on Slack to answer any questions.
I always wanted to learn coding and after completing the SheCodes Basic workshop I can say that I really enjoy it! I loved the mix of videos, exercises and bigger projects at the end to combine and refresh everything that has been learned! After completing the SheCodes Basics and SheCodes Plus workshop I started with SheCodes Responsive and I didn't expect to have so much fun learning to create a responsive website. If you want to become a web developer or if you are interested in building a website from scratch, this course is a must-do as online traffic on other devices than a desktop is increasing. I would definately recommend!
I love SheCodes! Matt makes everything very easy to understand and even when I get stuck, other members are on Slack who might be having the same issue and you will find what you need. Matt even encourages you to google when you can't find an answer on Slack. I've only gotten stuck twice and found the solution easily by ways of Slack or a simple google search. The homework and projects are a great way to put everything I've learned into action and it's fun for me at the same time. Thank you, SheCodes!

The course is broken up into quick, digestible videos, challenges to transform theory to practice, and a final project that ties all the concepts neatly together. Learning responsive was a lot more involved than I thought it, but I made it through and had fun learning it.
I've always had an interest in coding, and as a marketing manager day-to-day it's really important I understand the fundamentals of managing and coding a website. Matt's instruction was really clear, and easy to follow step-by-step. There's also help if you get stuck on Slack too!
The Plus course was so much fun to work on. Totally recommend to everyone out there! I learned a lot about JavaScript and how APIs work. Kudos for the whole SheCodes Team.
I've learned A LOT during this course, the step-by-step videos are so easy to follow which makes it easy for anyone to understand! I had a lot of fun putting the final project together as I really understood what I was doing. There's still a lot left to learn, but I for sure understand the basics now.
Another challenging and fun workshop! It was also interesting to work with the dictionary, as we tried different APIs and other structures. Would definitely recommend!

Simply, easy to follow course with challenges and solutions. After knowing programming only form obligatory boring university side this workshops proved to me that in spite of appearances coding can be quite fun.

Completing SheCodes has been very rewarding. Starting off I knew I loved User Experience, but I knew zero about coding or where to begin. Matt Delac is a clear, skilled, funny and wonderful teacher. The projects were entertaining and helped me gain true knowledge and confidence in coding. I'm excited to see where I will end up putting my skills to work and where my career journey will take me.

Great course! It was fun and informative, and Matt is always quick to give little pieces of advice (like knowing when a feature is too complicated to be worth your time!). This course structure wasn't quite as smooth as Basics, but people were always ready to clear up confusion on Slack. SheCodes is very flexible! It's great, but if you're someone who needs a lot of structure and encouragement/accountability to finish something, expect that you'll have to seek it out. It is absolutely available on Slack, but you need to seek it out, no babysitting here :-)
