SheCodes workshop with basic coding was soo much fun! The course can be challenging at times, but seeing the results of your work is worth every second spent researching, training, and writing code. Also, it was a great opportunity to meet a female, open community.

To be honest this workshop didn't go well with my personal life. The old version of me would run away and cry but not me now! I loved every step of creating this app. I'm a creative person but I was forgetting about this trait of mine lately. But making this app, realizing how many ideas I have! I wanted to implement them all! It's so amazing knowing there are endless possibilities of how to style the page or create interesting functions. I can't wait to start the third one of my workshops! This is a journey of my life, I'm grateful for what the SheCodes team does for all of us π

After 3 weeks I have learnt a lot but, most importantly, I have gained much more confidence and I feel I am ready now to keep learning so as to achieve my career goals in coding. I really liked the way the course is structured. It was flexible enough for me to watch the video of each lesson whenever I had the time for it and then I could put into practice all I learnt through the challenges and exercises. It has been great fun! The feeling of success when solving the challenges was very stimulating.
Out of pure curiosity how programming actually works I signed up for SheCodes. SheCodes allows every woman to learn programming. It was a lot of fun and broadened my horizons. My fullest recommendation!
SheCodes made the coding classes fun and so easy to follow! When I wasn't coding, I would miss the classes! I can't wait to continue the courses and learn more languages and advance my skills and hopefully start a career in Tech!
The Basics course was light, the pace was just right, and very fun! The challenges kept me focused on remembering/learning, and the homework was a good way to test my skills. I absolutely recommend taking it if youβre unsure!

For a long time now I've had an interest in coding, saw an advert for SheCodes on LinkedIn and signed up on a whim. This was a great whistle stop tour of the basics and Matt is a great teacher. I really liked the bitesize learning and challenges along the way. A fun way to have learnt a new skill. Now I just need to practice!

The secret to effectively learn coding is: practice, practice, practice. And the best part of the workshop is your final project: you have lots of fun creating your own experimental site with the tools and features presented throughout the course. Thank you for this awesome experience!

Very beginner-friendly, one thing that really sets it apart from other programming classes is the community on Slack who are more than willing to help you out when you're stuck so your experience of coding will be fun rather than frustrating. great for women with a busy schedule, the lessons are short and recorded previously so you could attend at any time, also the offline nature of the classes hasn't made it any less interactive again thanks to the community on Slack of course, I just wish the internal logic of some of the properties were explained more in-depth but I think we'll get there in the SheCodes Plus course.

This is definitely an upgrade from basics! Learnt so much, had so much fun, definitely doable even with a full-time job. The information taught was done amazingly by instructor Matt and the team provided good support at every milestone of this course. Really appreciated that the course also included a typical workflow of front-end development and some tips on how to communicate your work to bosses!
It's functional. Wheter you are just curious or interested in learning the basics of coding, this workshop covers it. Plenty of resources and tools are given to you throught the course for completing the tasks, and so after completing it you can properly decide if you enjoy coding or not so much, and if pursuing it further is worth your time. On a side note, The Radio function is a pretty cool one!
Learning React was hard but very fun. I definitely fell in love with it, and shecodes has made my learning so fun. I'm actually able to retain the information and put it to use. This has been a wonderful journey.

React has definitely been the most challenging workshop of all but at the same time it has been so much fun to learn all the new things. I can't wait to keep practising everything I have learnt.
React is definitely more challenging than I thought but having done both the weather and dictionary app gave me perspective on how to use it. It's funny how one small dot or letter can make an app crash. Both projects made me be even more alert and focused when typing. I ready ready for the next and final courseππ½ββοΈπ©π½βπ»
SheCodes Basic is such a great workshop to start with coding. I have learnt so much and can't believe how fun it's been. Matt's videos are engaging and his clear explanations, plus the hands-on practice, were exactly what I needed.

SheCodes Responsive is a great course that helps you to learn how to build responsive websites that look good on mobiles, tablets or big screens. It was very fun to work on my own portfolio website and I am very happy how it turned out. My HTML and CSS skills have definitely improved and I am looking forward to continue developing my skills.
The weather app was the second project I was able to realize through SheCodes. I learned such fundamental things as using APIs, using a hosting service to make my app accessible online and how to connect and update this hosting service with my code on GitHub. Besides that my understanding for Java Script was really broadened. At the same time this course was definitely much more complex than "SheCodes Basics" and I really struggled sometimes. When I got stuck the support of SheCodes helped out very professionally! Big shout-out to JoΓ£o and Bruno!!
What I loved the most about this workshop is that I could be creative using coding (something I could have never imagined). I had so much fun and I definitley want to continue learning π©βπ».

Wow what an amazing challenge this has been! I have learnt so much and can't believe how fun it's been. I have definitely made the right decision choosing this course and coding as a career change!
This section was definitely more challenging than I had expected, but it was fun. I did find myself getting frustrated at times, but that drove me even harder to find where the problems were and to fix them. I feel more prepared to work with this program in real-life and understand more of the logic behind coding and how to build things and how to build them. This whole program has been a new, fun and neat learning experience and I am so excited to see where it will take me in the future!!!
SheCodes Basics was an engaging experience. The lessons were easy to follow and fun to complete. Before this workshop, code looked like a completely alien language to me. This course was absolutely awesome and I would recommend it to everyone! Back when I was at university, I had the programming language "C" in my first semester. I totally hated it, because of the way how they taught us to code. With Matt it was completely different and super fun! I'm currently a senior in high school who's always been passionate about art and technology. As university is right around the corner, at the beginning I struggled a lot to figure out whether if I wanted to go to university for something design-related or for something tech-related. High-quality courses like SheCodes gave me the confidence to be free to choose whatever I wanted to go to Uni for, knowing that these fabulous external learning tools would help me gather valuable knowledge to make of my vocation whatever I really want it to be, building it with the skills that I want to have, and not just with the knowledge Iβd get from a single career at a university. SheCodes is really helping me reach my dreams in an even more fun way than couldβve thought.

I have frequently come across SheCodes ads on Facebook, but I was hesitant at first. I thought it's going to be difficult and eventually my motivation would fade. However, as I moved past lessons after lessons, I realized coding was so much fun and easy to navigate! Matt was clear with his instructions and made the lessons concise yet understandable. The team was also very responsive. I highly recommend this!
I often say to everyone around me that SheCodes is the best thing that has ever happened in my life so far. In my case, this course is not about learning coding only and by the way, we have the best teacher ever... but it is also about fulfillment and happiness with what I am doing. Three weeks ago, I did not know a single thing about coding. Today, I have an idea of the coding field, what it means when people say "coding is a language," essential software used to design websites, and a genuine appreciation for those who code. The lessons Matt created met me where I was at, which was zero experience. Not only was it empowering to see myself coding, but it also showed how relevant it is in my social work career. So fun to see an idea come to life!

This was a very exciting course to be part of and learn from. It is very easy to understand and learn from what is provided, but the most amazing part is that you don't learn like a "parrot", you have to apply code and thinking of your own. You get help from a tech team and your fellow learners which is great! I had so much fun with my final project and intend to just keep making it better and creating other fun projects.
I have enjoyed learning to code through SheCodes. It has been challenging at times, but fun and a great journey. I was intimidated at first regarding software development. I started without knowing a thing about coding; but now feel comfortable and excited to take on the challenge in learning new languages and tools. An engaging, exciting and fun course! The last 3 weeks have been challenging but rewarding - I have learnt plenty in a short space of time. The SheCodes workshops are fun and most importantly very supportive to people brushing up on new skills. The format is easy for me to follow and well paced- very doable even for someone with a full time job and long commute.
