Easy to understand and fun! A good introduction to front end coding.
SheCodes Plus was the continuation of my coding journey after SheCodes Basics. This workshop helped me to further deepen my knowledge about coding and in particular, to develop and design an officially hosted website. And what's most important: it was again a lot of fun! I can't wait to continue with SheCodes Responsive.
I am so happy about this experience. I had so much fun. Coding is not that much difficult as i expected. I will definitely improve and expand my programming skills.
Every time I complete a SheCodes workshop, I become very surprised of all the little and big skills that I had learned in the course. SheCodes provides one of the best, most fun and most complete courses for anyone who is interested in becoming a front-end developer.
SheCodes introduced a world of the CSS, HTML and JavaScript to me, and the main thing - how all of them are connected and synchronized. With tiny steps we learned all those scary-complicated processes and functions, by the end you feell yourself empowered and inspired. Honestly - it was not that easy for me to integrate all the tasks into my full-time job + other course daily routine, but with the help of extentions the journey finished successfully.
This workshop is brilliant! SheCodes Plus taught me a lot of coding skills while building the weather app. It was challenging and fun at the same time.
I would highly recommend learning with SheCodes, it was a great experience and real fun to explore world of coding. Finishing my last project with SheCodes Radio made it great fun and pleasure.
Had a lot of fun with this course and plan to do a more advanced one in the future π
After taking SheCodes Basics, I had no doubt going to upper class and SheCodes Plus definitely taught me much more advanced coding skills. As for the big project, I am very satisfied with my weather forecast app which was quite challenging yet fun.
Easy and fun workshop, which perfectly fits with a tight schedule.
I have always wondered how to make websites that would scale correctly depending on the device they were viewed on. Despite looking fairly complex at the beginning, we've learnt that there are tools out there that are designed to help code responsive website without massive overhead and a fairly detailed documentation. A brief overview of SEO requirements was also good but fairly limited and will require a little more research but this wasn't the purpose of the workshop after all! I would recommend taking this workshop as it has given me the confidence to code an entire website that is functional on all platforms!

What a great experience! The free workshop was EXACTLY what I needed to finally make the jump into coding that I had been thinking about for so long, and the Basic workshop solidified my hunger for more. This is learning made fun and delivered in easy to follow bites with just enough challenge to keep it interesting and to boost your confidence once you learn and apply a new skill. I had no prior experience with coding. I've learned a lot during this workshop. The videos and instructions were easy to follow. I had fun creating my own website and seeing my progress.

I have never coded in my life until this workshop and I found it to be super understandable. Each lesson was mainly followed by a practice right after which helped greatly. The final project was fun and enjoyable even though I stumbled upon a few challenges. Great way to introduce yourself to coding!
I learned a lot from the basic workshop I took. It seemed like a lot of information because I'm very new to coding, but it was interesting, easy to learn and the assignments/homework were fun to do. If you're on the fence about taking this course, just do it, it's a great way to find if coding is right for you. I'm looking forward to learning more in a more advanced workshop.

I never would have thought I'd learn so much in such a small space of time! The projects are really fun and interesting, and key processes are repeated, so you find yourself becoming familiar with writing React code and debugging quickly. I'll really miss this journey! Thank you SheCodes team! :)

you may not believe me if i say i learned lots of things in just 3 weeks and everything was fun! i enjoyed doing every single challenge and project and the whole lesson was really useful for me so I could work on my own ideas too! :)
SheCodes responsive is very very fun! I enjoyed so much my final project, creating a webpage just for myself. I have many ideas for it and I was able to achieve my page just the way I wanted it! I am satisfied!
I am so amazed that I have been able to complete the SheCodes Basics Course with such ease!! I had so many doubts in myself but once I started, I had so much fun and loved working on the final project in week 3!! I am so excited to start SheCodes Plus, I know there will be challenges but that is what makes it so thrilling, to overcome those challenges and find the solitions to succeed. I was really excited to do React, but I was also a bit intimidated. Javascript is something I try to understand through application, and even then it's difficult when there are so many sources around me. I think this workshop was great, fun, and informative!
I love SheCodes! I was really nervous before starting this workshop, because I knew nothing about coding! But Matt's lessons were so easy to follow and the challenges were really fun to complete! Now thanks to SheCodes, I've discovered a new hobby, and possibly a stepping stone to a career related to coding π.

SheCodes Basics has been really wonderful. I got to learn basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript and put all those knowledge in use while working on the project. The challenges at the end of each lesson really test your understanding which I feel was very helpful. I would definitely encourage women who are thinking in terms of coding to try the Basics workshop. It is fun, enjoyable and you get to learn actual coding !!!
I loved SheCodes so much! Matt made it so easy to learn the basics of front-end development. The lessons are very short and digestible, but long enough to get all the necessary information needed to complete your challenges and homework. The project was SO fun and I found it very easy to apply what I've learned to create my page. I'll definitely be taking a more advanced course in the future.
SheCodes has been an amazing journey. SheCodes Basics has simply been the best place for me to actually learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. We used real tools, and thus got to work in the environment that professionals operate in. Lessons are very hands-on and you need to use the knowledge you've learnt in a lesson in the next challenge, so you have to pay attention. It is no problem though, because Matt keeps it very fun, up-beat and engaging. I would highly recommend SheCodes for any girl/woman/lady+++ who wants to learn how to code.

Highly recommend SheCodes Basics, it requires some time management if you're working too, but it is totally manageable, so take the risk, you definitely won't regret it.
This was my last workshop with SheCodes and a great addition to the Basics, Plus and React. Building responsive websites is the future. You will learn so many new things. I highly recommend it as Matt explains everything in detail and the final project is so much fun.
I've tried many coding tutorials in the past, but SheCodes teaches material in a way that is fun and engaging. The material is taught in a manner where the student is not overburdened with trivial technicalities but given the necessary tools to explore and create projects that correlate well with real-world use cases. I'm very excited to make use of my skills, and I've learned more in 3 weeks than I ever did 6 months into so called web development courses.
I highly recommend this workshop! Matt has a very simple way of explaining, very easy to understand, especially for beginners like myself. Simply amazing! I cant believe I learned how to code a basic webpage in two and a half weeks. The last time I ever manipulated a HTML was to add music on MySpace in 2005. I did not think that I would be able to pick up this skill so quickly but with Matt's guidance and thorough explanation through each solution I was able to practice and produce a functional visible code starting from a blank page.
Definitely a challenging yet rewarding workshop. I was looking forward to learning about hosting with accurate data. It surely is complex and powerful. I absolutely recommend this workshop. The help is there when you need it and it is fun to learn on the possibilities with coding.

The SheCodes Basics course enabled me to obtain a fundamental understanding of coding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The course length and format were perfect for my needs and learning style.
I was a bit fearful at the beginning but everytime I did the challenges I became more and more invested in coding. It was an interesting journey and I never expected how fun coding can be!

I had so much fun during this course. I really enjoyed learning about responsive web design. Matt is really good at his explanation: clear yet simple to easily understand. I think anyone with Excel skills (especially skills in functions) is likely to have advantages of understanding Javascript & CSS quicker since they share some similarities.
I have been thinking about learning to code for more than 10 years but, always felt too overwhelmed or too intimidated to start. SheCodes Basics was an amazingly fun, and exciting workshop to give you a taste of front-end web development. I am absolutely hooked. I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Starting out as someone with no experience coding, I appreciated how each element of HTML, CSS, and JS were broken down into small, easily digestible lessons and then being challenged to apply the material immediately to solidify the content. I've had a lot of fun playing around with what I've been learning in general, which was a pleasant surprise! I highly recommend this class for anyone.
I've wanted to change careers for a long time but have felt stuck and discouraged at the prospect. After seeing ads for SheCodes I decided to take the free class on a whim, thinking what do I have to lose? I never thought coding would be something I could do but I liked the free class so much I signed up for Basics right away. The lessons were easy to follow and the challenges were really fun. I can actually see myself working in the tech field now and I definitely plan on continuing my education through SheCodes. If you want to see if coding is for you or learn the basics I cannot recommend SheCodes enough!

It has been an incredible experience. Had 10/10 fun with it. In those 3 weeks of the workshop, I learned a lot about what we - regular users - deem obvious. It gave me a great first impression and most of all, it didn't scare me away! On the contrary, I feel like I want to dig deeper and learn more about coding!
Loved getting into coding and learning about the basics! I had zero knowledge going into classes but the interactive workshops made it easy and fun to follow along!

SheCodes basic is a great way to learn what coding is. Some tasks almost drove me crazy, but Matt's repetition that coding is fun kept me going. Jumping into the SheCodes Plus workshop after the SheCodes Basics was both challenging and a lot of fun. Coding the weather app bit by bit and seeing how it builds up to a fully functioning solution was a really satisfying experience. I would have never thought it would be possible for me to become interested in coding but I had a lot of fun! It really is amazing to be able to create something out of nothing and lots of fun when something does not work and you have to figure out why!
