When I joined this course I barely had any knowledge of coding but now I can confidently say that I know at least the basic elements of HTML, Javascript, and CSS. My SheCodes journey has been super fun and rewarding and has motivated me to actively pursue a career in tech.

I found the workshop fun and engaging. It has allowed me to get a better understanding of the terminology, concepts and tools used within my current position as a product owner and working alongside tech teams. The bit-sized lessons were easy to understand and pick up. I also liked that there were small challenges which we had to build upon existing knowledge from the lessons and learn new things via learning by doing.
I highly recommend SheCodes Plus! The lesson challenges, weekly homework, and final project provide engaging hands-on learning, allowing you to delve further into HTML, CSS, advanced JavaScript techniques, API integration, as well as Git and GitHub to manage code with a streamlined development workflow. SheCodes Plus was really fun even through all the pains of having to delete my code cause it kept breaking and having to pick the color,themes,functions that should be on the app. In my opinion Matt is really a great teacher. I really loved this workshop! While I knew some of the basics, I still felt like this workshop was paramount in giving me the proper foundation to continue on to the other ones and be successful. Matt was very easy to follow, gave clear instructions, and was also great at reminding me to also have fun with coding. I truly enjoyed it!
This is a fantastic workshop! It's so well designed, introducing new concepts incrementally, with fun and challenging projects which really get you to engage with the lessons. So creative, and so satisfying when you get it right!
This was a perfect beginning course! The course is very interactive and makes it easy to follow along, get help if needed and to learn. I had a fun time starting this basics course and decided to enrol for the PRO course! If you are interested, I would recommend starting the basic course first to get the feeling of the programme a little bit. From there you can decide if you want to take any further steps and invest in your own future. Do keep in mind that you need to set 5-10 hours of work aside for this.
Again I learned so much about coding. Looking from where I came from, this process is really interesting. I feel every day more comfortable by working on each project. Coding is fun!
This workshop helped better my skills that I gained with SheCodes Basics. I have a better understanding of JavaScript, HTML and CSS. I was surprised at how much fun I had during this workshop! Matt gives great and clear explanations and the team is very present when you have a question. I even registerd for the next level! I really recommand this workshop if you want to have a taste of what coding may look like!

I had such a great experience with SheCodes. I found myself constantly wanting to come back to my computer and even ended up fast tracking a week ahead. It's a lot of fun and easy to understand.
This course really let me put the HTML and CSS skills I've developed to the test! I found the JavaScript parts challenging but incredibly satisfying to get right. The bite-size videos and challenges along the way helped a lot to work out the fundamentals, while the project that we worked on along the way helped me solidify the learnings.
SheCodes is a well-structured, concise and an easy-to-follow coding workshop. I enjoyed the exercises within each workshop and the homework project where you can create with what you've learned so far, and see the results for yourself π. SheCodes (Matt) makes coding fun π! Matt's approach makes you think, it makes you get creative, it makes you curious to learn more. His style of teaching isn't a strict "this is the only way" or "because I say so", rather he makes you wonder and explore and find solutions π€. I found the resources provided to aide us in the learning/creating, like the css color palattes, gradients, slack chat, etc. really helpful. I've wanted to learn more about coding and while I was on maternity leave, I saw an AD for the 60 min Free Coding Class. I decided to sign up and it was informative and peaked my interest in wanting me to learn more. I signed up for SheCodes Basics and found the challenges and homework to be fun. I am now back to working full time but I still want to learn more and signed up for the SheCodes Pro class. I'm excited to go through the program and explore if this could be a career change opportunity.

What an eye-opening learning experience! I was never interested in coding because I was scared I would never understand it, but SheCodes Basics changed my mind, and now I'm hooked. The workshop was carefully structured, and the videos weren't too long or overwhelming, which is a plus for a beginner. Also, the lesson challenges were fun and excellent hands-on practice to retain the coding you learned. My word of advice for future students - don't feel defeated if your code is imperfect as there is no one-size-fits-all π. I would highly recommend this workshop if you want to learn from an excellent coding instructor and are interested in changing career paths or expanding your skillset. SheCodes has truly been a wonderful experience and a highlight by far. From starting in the Basics Workshop to now graduating from SheCodes React. Wow! Time does fly when youβre having fun! I have learned so much about coding and had lots of fun along the way. Not to mention making amazing connections with fellow SheCoders. I have developed a core, well-rounded understanding of coding and learning React as a widely used programming language will open many opportunities.
My experience learning to code with SheCodes was a fun and engaging one, and I would highly recommend it. It was easy to understand and very informative to follow each part of the course The weekly challenges were one of the most enjoyable aspects of the course for me since I was able to practice what I had learned.
The workshop had a lot of clear-cut and understandable lessons! The SheCodes community is also great and offers tons of resources to help you achieve your goal as a programmer. I really enjoyed it and had lots of fun learning to code one step at a time.

It has been great learning coding again especially with the step by step on how to different areas of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It has also been great knowing you learn, the try out the challenges and then see the solution. As Matt has explained there are different solutions so you will not feel bad as long as the functionality works π With practice you will be able to become more familiar and confident with coding

As a person who got Maths Phobia and almost zero knowledge of science subjects, I never thought that I could code. Thank you Matt for making coding super understandable and the kind help from SheCodes Team, I acquired some basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript:) The challenges after every lesson are very useful. It keeps the students on track and allows us to revise them immediately. I have lots of fun with coding and could never imagine that I am hooked after two weeks! Not sure how far I would go with this new hobby but will take the rest of the workshops for sure!
Building the weather app was both fun and challenging. I learned a lot. It really pushed me out of my comfort zone. Highly recommend!

I honestly cannot believe how much time passes when you are having fun! I enjoyed every lesson/challenge and I made use of other materials provided. Sometimes, i get stuck on challenges but it only allowed me to learn more. Also the team on Slack are super helpful. Looking forward to more projects to come as I intend to become a full stack developer.
I already had quite a bit of experience in HTML and CSS, though I haven't used either in maybe a decade so this class was a fantastic review for me. It was also a great introduction to Javascript and I had a lot of fun working on lesson problems, homework, and especially the project!

SheCodes is amazing!!! Previously, I've been enrolled on few coding platforms in a bid to learn software development. One major challenge I had was understanding the reason why some codes are written in a certain way. Getting started on SheCodes, I've had the best learning experience so far. If you want to learn how to code you need to practice. SheCodes is the perfect platform for that. You have projects for each lesson, it's a challenging subject but you have a lot of fun studying it.

I have always wanted to learn to code; at least basics. Before applying to SheCodes, I have tried couple other platforms but I used to get boring and gave up right after the first lesson.I was thinking that I will never be able to learn it. However, SheCodes workshops changed my whole perception. I loved it. Mat is a great teacher and he explains everything so clearly. The lessons are not overwhelming like others. The tasks are interesting and fun. The team is very supportive. I have enjoyed every single minute of passed three weeks. When I look at my codes, I feel so proud of how much I managed to learn. One morning I was scrolling through Instagram and randomly came across a free 60-minutes coding course from SheCodes. I usually don't bother about these things, but I just decided to go through it. This was a challenging course but in the end I feel I am a better coder! It was fun learning the different javascript functions and watching the app come to life because of it.
This workshop teaches complex techniques using react. At times it was difficult, however, using react turned out to be more fun and better for me than using pure JS. React also built more good habits since it's stricter as well. So even though learning it was a little frustrating at first, it soon become rewarding and worthwhile.
βββββSheCodes deserves these stars! The basics has been an amazingly fun and interesting to me as a beginner. Having no previous knowledge in I.T, SheCodes molded me and I can see myself moving from zero to hero!. I am so hooked and thinking loud......, why not switch careers?. Thumps up to Matt and the entire SheCodes crew for a job well done. I am definitely upgrading my knowledge with SheCodes Pro and why not recommend to my friends while highly looking forward to what's next.
