It was very easy to keep up and to have some help if needed! Every concept was broken down perfectly to maintain a fast but in-depth lectures. I learned so much it was really fun to feel like a tech boss.
Super fun, I really feel like I know the basics of web design now! The short lessons with exercises keep you motivated and practicing!

What a journey! That wasn't easy but that was always fun. I had a lot fun in the basics workshop. It was exciting to be able to build a page after just 3 weeks!
React is not easy to understand, but with Matt it is fun and one can easily follow his instructions. Even if we only covered the tip of the iceberg, this workshop shows what is possible and makes curious of more.
I've had so much fun during this course. It was certainly tricky to create the right codes sometimes, but if it wouldn't be a bit challenging I wouldn't learn and become a better developer. Matt is very pedagogical and explains everything very well, which makes it easy to understand. I totally recommend this course to everyone who is interested in learning how to code!

SheCodes has completely changed my previous perception about coding. The workshop is structured in a way that is approachable and easy for students to understand the fundamentals about coding with good exercises to practise what you learn. There is also a great community out there where the SheCodes' team is quite responsive to your questions and you can also interact with other students and help out each other. I found myself spending more time in practising what I've learnt and I am eager to learn more. And most importantly, I have a lot of fun throughout the process!

I have struggled with learning code for a while now. I came to learn about SheCodes and decided to give it a try. My love for technology and what it brings forth has been drive. The courses at SheCodes are sectioned into small and very clear videos and after every class we have a challenge giving one a chance to put into practice what they learnt. That has been really fun, quenching my thirst for learning coding and at the same time keeping me curious about what the next lesson has to bring forth. My coding skills have really improved and i believe this is the begin of something great and I am happy and grateful to SheCodes.

I enjoyed this introduction to coding so much! Every lesson was clearly understandable and everything was explained in a short and fun way. I really liked being able to put everything into practice with challenges after each lesson. This was my first introduction to the coding world and it was so much better than I had expected. If I'm being honest, I thought coding will need a lot of math knowledge and would possibly be even boring, but teacher Matt showed me that it's a fun and very creative skill to learn! I learnt a lot in just a matter of weeks and now I want to recommend this workshop to every woman who wants to learn something new in their free time or even start working in tech!

I can't tell you how awesome SheCodes is, You should enroll workshops then you'll know what am I talking about. if you wanna start front-end development you've found the right place. Matt teaches you as well as possible, It's gonna be a fun journey and also full of learning. Along side the lessons you have access to a wonderful support team that you can ask your questions and as soon as possible you end up finding your way.
I can't believe it! One more step completed! I'm proud of myself for having been able to build a weather app in the space of a month. I can only thank Matt and his team for the content-filled and very appealing classes. I have to confess that it was not easy, sometimes I had to stop, go for a walk and get some fresh air. But if it was easy it wouldn't be so fun :) Ready to start the next workshop!
Previously I tried to educate myself on learning how to Code from other Website, but unfortunately I found the information given was very overwhelming and I believed to myself that maybe I'm just not cut out to learn this set of skills, until I came across SheCode where they offered a Basic Course that is offered at a reasonable price, just to figure out whether this is something I could learn or not, and it figures out that I am capable! The Project was so much fun!!
This course was challenging, but fun! I never thought I would be able to code a weather app on my own and although it did take a while, I would find myself gladly spending hours into the night just coding. The reward of getting code to work was worth it.
It feels great going from having zero coding knowledge to being able to create a fully functional weather app in 8 weeks.
A lot more challenges than basics workshop which helped me to learn more about javascript. The most interesting part for me was the API integration which made coding much more fun.

The Responsive workshop was my favourite so far! It was tailored in such a way to provide us with all the tools necessary to build a multi-page website from scratch. I was a bit sceptical at first because I thought it would be something complex and difficult to understand, as I have been struggling to learn html and css. This course helped me understand the basics in a simple and concise way. Matt is a great instructor and I have already learned a lot. The courses are well structured, easy to understand and fun, which is important to me.

The workshop content is fun yet challenging! I definitely spent more time debugging my code than in Basics -- this gave me the opportunity to see where I was overcomplicating and where to simplify. I also really appreciated the instructor's tips on how to build/design code efficiently and for walking through how to plan/execute a project from start to finish!
SheCodes Plus was so fun!! I love the approach of everything; pacing feels wonderful during these 8 weeks, learning and grouping the lessons into the next steps made me feel mentally ready to learn more, and I felt so comfortable learning each lesson. I'm still in awe and disbelief knowing how much everyone (especially Matt) has to remember to make the program work. Thank you! I cannot wait for the next workshop!!
This introductory course was well structured and easy-to-follow. One of the unique features of the course was teaching thought process rather than simply the syntax. With little I know now, I found out I can execute lots of ideas. Definitely still a lot to learn and a long way to go but I am sure that will be fun. Thanks Matt and the team!
It was fun and exciting to learn how to create my own website and make it user friendly across all devices. Though it can be a challenge at times, the lessons contain just the right amount of information so it is not too overwhelming. I highly recommend!

This was my 3rd SheCodes workshop and I loved it! The final project was so much fun and so useful. I was able to make a multiple pages website responsive and create a portfolio I can update and use to share my work! Really looking forward to learn React.

I have learned soooo much in such a short time and have had a lot of fun! I highly recommend this workshop if you are seriously considering learning how to code. It is easy to follow and completely self-paced. What I have learned is coding is pretty much all logic and organization. If those two things excite you then get coding!
I learned a lot and liked how the course was structured. It was always fun. And if it was hard, there were always enough tips how to get to the solution. The help via slack was very quick and helpful. Thanks a lot for this experience. It was very easy to get directly into coding.

Another amazing experience with SheCodes! Many times an overlooked aspect of programming, knowing how to build a responsive page is in fact fundamental. I've certainly learned essential coding skills for building not only a nice-looking website but also one that is fully responsive and functional. I highly recommend taking this workshop. Uaaaau!!! I can't believe I did this. Not the best design to my final project but writing the code I really enjoyed! Difficult to wrap my head around all those functions but finally I got to make it work. I am so impatient to take the next steps and learn more and more.
This course is so easy to follow that you can start and stop without worrying about messing up your progress. The lessons are broken down into very digestible pieces of information and you can move through them very quickly. I love the function to speed up the videos for when I just need to review one part. I would recommend this course to anyone even remotely interested in coding!
Even though I learnt HTML and CSS basics during my studies about 10 years ago it was really good to start with SheCodes Basics! I learnt a lot and had fun! The challenges and the project were interesting, sometimes challenging but also really satisfying in the end! I would highly recommend SheCodes Basics and I am looking forward to starting SheCodes Plus.

SheCodes introductory training was somewhat easy to follow with Matt's informative video that you can slow down, rewind etc if needed. I found myself able to keep a good pace and am still finding coding fun. Really glad i learned about SheCodes.

The learing of coding From start was easy to follow. The React projects are challenging and very fun to work on, I've learned a lot from the courses. Im very thankful to Shecodes team for the opportunity.
SheCodes beats all the other coding lessons I've tried in the past. The homework deadlines provide me the accountability to turn in my work in time, and the lessons are full of information yet manageable and taught in a way that's approachable. Plus, the slack community is very helpful. I never knew coding could be fun until I tried SheCodes.
Responsive is the ideal follow-up course to Plus - it cements what has been previously covered but adds a much greater level of finesse to the finished project. I feel a lot more confident using code and it is great to have a fully functional website at the end of it!

I learned loads about JavaScript, GitHub and APIs in this course. I like that it was self paced and found the homework and final project really fun.
Participating in the SheCodes basic course was a lot of fun. I enjoyed doing it in the evenings or during my down times. I am into website building and hope that the knowledge i gained through this course will help me in the future.
SheCodes gives a great introduction to coding. A lot of different material is covered and it gives you a great kickstart if you wish to change your career path or boost your existing one. You're able to speed up or slow down each video to your liking which a great additive. It was a fun, educative and challenging course. Would recommend!
SheCodes Plus was fun since we could interact with APIs and used what we learned on Basics to create a functional project. Matt does a great job in his videos of making things clear and easy to understand. I'm looking forward to the next classes to learn more advanced Web Development and take my understanding to a whole new level!
The lessons are relatively short and cover a lot. However, I think you just need to play around with functions to get a better understanding on how things work.

These three weeks of the SheCodes Basics Workshop have been both awesome and challenging. I really enjoyed learning the very basics of coding specially HTML and CSS. JavaScript is been definitely more challenging to learn for me but I somehow managed to complete the challenges which makes me proud and stoked! Matt is an awesome teacher and he explains it all in a very simple and understandable way. Bruno and Joao have been super nice and helpful as well and all the coders from the slack platform are super keen to learn and help to each other which makes the whole coding experience really fun and friendly. The Basics Workshop did an excellent job of making it very easy to learn and practice what was learned real time, to set the student on the path of basic web development. I have already been able to easily build upon what I learned to make the page appear and function differently according to my liking with simple google searches on JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
