I always thought that coding is not for me as I was never very good at maths or technology-related things, but throughout this workshop I learned how easy and especially how much fun it can be! Even though it was rather frustrating at times, those mistakes and challenges helped me to understand coding better and I am so glad that I decided to give coding a chance!

This is the third course out of four I have completed with SheCodes. It was challenging and fun. I've learned a lot more about ensuring that my website is SEO optimised and that it is fully responsive on all devices. I've really enjoyed the challenges of this workshop and now have a fully responsive portfolio of my own that I can use to help me gain that dream job in tech!!!

SheCodes makes coding fun. I'm considering doing the rest of the workshops too. I definitely got a basic understanding of what is the groundwork for coding and a taste for what I could do if I developed this skill.
I have done a fair share of different jobs and studying courses, but nothing really stood out to me or had me hooked. However, I kept seeing adds for SheCodes constantly pop up on my phone, so I thought "why not, it won't hurt to try". Honestly best decision I made, SheCodes is so fun whilst still learning, I would recommend this to anyone debating it, try it ... you wont regret it!

Having no experience in coding and gaining an interest in front-end development, I didn't know quite where to start. I tried finding methods of self-teaching and didn't find them as engaging as I wanted so I decided to search for other options and then found SheCodes. I'm so happy that I did! SheCodes has helped me grasp the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a way that was not only fun but practical and challenging which made me want to push myself. I cannot wait to carry on with other SheCodes workshops in the future!

I find learning coding one of the greatest decisions that I made! SheCodes offers lessons and homework that are very well-organized and easy to follow. I had so much fun studying HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
The program is very interesting! The theory is clearly explained and a lot of time is allocated for practice. Lessons are quite clear and fun. I really like this education format when step-by-step teacher explain material.

I loved every minute of this workshop! By far the best online classes I have followed so far. It is very fun to see a direct result of your new skills learned with each chapter. I was completely blown away by how fascinating and digestible coding was for me. I went from not knowing a thing about coding to being able to understand code, break it apart, and rearrange in its' correct format. I had no prior knowledge or experience in coding. Great and funny course! The videos were easy to follow. You can go at your own pace, and the challenges are significant to learn step by step. I had so much fun with the SheCodes Responsive workshop! Creating my own portfolio was challenging and fun at the same time. This workshop entailed a lot of styling elements with CSS, which I really enjoy. Although making a website responsive was challenging at first, by the end of my project I really enjoyed all the different ways of doing it. The most exciting thing about this workshop was that it really encouraged me to discover new ways of designing and coding on my own to customize my portfolio.

I really enjoyed that the course was constructed in a way that I could really go at my own pace and almost gamified the learning process. I can honestly say that I found it both challenging and fun. I work a full-time job so I'll admit I wasn't too sure about how much information I would be able to absorb with this workshop, but, I was able to get through some of the lessons daily and complete each week challenge with ease. I was genuinely surprised at how quick I picked up the basics! It felt really rewarding to clear each week and I am really excited to see what I learn next. Seeing the actual creativity behind coding also really opened my eyes to what it is, I had fun making cute pages.

The SheCodes Basics Workshop has made coding a fun and easy skill to learn! I appreciate all of the lessons (and videos) that were created for this workshop. All of the steps were very clear throughout the lessons in each week.
In truth, I initially enrolled in the course (SheCodes Basics) with a lot of skepticism about the capacity for an asynchronous, online course platform to be able to teach me something functional, as well as any sort of prospective for me to be able to take this new skill and make something out of it (and even potentially branching out into a new/evolved career). While I know I still have loads to learn, knowing that coding is a growing language that even experts who have been doing so for years still study and work on to improve their skills/language, I have become hopeful that this is, indeed, a field that I can actually get into, and continue to learn, expand, and explore rather than feel "stuck" in. Matt is a phenomenal teacher. I loved the way the learning platform was designed and each activity was scaffolded and chunked into smaller bits and gradually building up to a bigger project. I also loved how the final project allowed us to create what we were passionate about. (I definitely spent way too much time - WAY more than necessary ;) - to make every detail and design the way I wanted: with both information and knowledge gained from Matt's lessons, as well as searching on google on my own for things I actually wanted more of). After doing my final project and recognizing all the more that I could learn, I have decided to continue to learn, and maybe delve into some of the other advanced workshops offered through the program. Thanks so much, Matt, and everyone else on the team!
I had SO much fun with SheCodes React. This was by far the most challenging workshop for me, but I cannot believe what I was able to learn and create after just a couple of months! I'd recommend this a million times to anyone π₯³
This workshop was definitely challenging yet so much fun to learn what I did in over 8 weeks. I am very thankful to SheCodes team and Matt. This workshop has polished my coding experience compared to when I started SheCodes Basics. It has prompted me to be willing to learn more about JS and its "magic". I can say I am more confident since I am currently studying Information Systems at my university. This workshop has provided me such a valuable experience.
Amazing workshop! Everything is explained in a really understandable way, and challenges are fun. It's a great way to start coding or to refresh your knowledge of basis of HTML, CSS and JS.
The SheCodes React course is quite difficult for beginners. Several times there was a feeling that it was beyond my power. Only thanks to my stubbornness, I got through it to the end. And I liked it. Even so, I will not be able to write such a code myself, but now I know the basic functions of working with React and will be able to work by analogy. I got a very useful experience and a great cute resume site.
This course was easy to understand, well-paced, and SO much fun. I am looking forward to future coding adventures!
