I really loved participating in the workshop. It's easy to follow along and divided into good portions, so you don't get too overwhelmed with the input you're getting. The homework at the end of each week are really quite challenging, but definitely fun to do some research on your own and come up with solutions. I really liked building my own landing page in the end and am quite proud of what I've learned so far. Can't wait to learn more about coding.

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to try their hand at coding. It's a lot of fun to be able to build something from scratch and immediately see the result. Matt explains what he's doing step by step and if you ever get stuck while you're coding you can just hop on to the Slack platform and ask for help. I'm excited to learn more!

Its a good course on how to make your websites responsive. Leant a lot in this module. Its been challenging and has a deep learning curve but overall its been fun learning.
SheCodes made me start learning coding and I found out it is creative and fun! Not as boring as I have imagined :)
This was an enjoyable experience! I didn't realize how much I had learned or how much I would understand at the end. This made starting the project a daunting task to me. Once I started my project, I realized I recognized a lot more code as I was putting together different elements and working through trail and error. It was fun to see that I was able to create so much and it's only been a few weeks!

I started SheCodes Basic just over a week ago and was having so much fun learning that I completed the course way too fast! I had never coded before and now I just built myself a cute little website for my final project! I was amazed at how much information I had retained so quickly and how naturally I was able to make my ideas come to life! I would definitely recommend this course if you're curious about coding and want to try it out. I will definitely be purchasing on of the more advanced courses very soon! I really had fun building my own project from scratch following the instructions in SheCodes Basics workshop. The course is interactive and easy to follow, and let you eager to learn more about more complex JavaScript functions and more!

I enjoyed the SheCodes Basic workshop. Matt has a good way of explaining. He takes a bit of a bird's eye approach to explain the basics and gives you plenty of space to figure things out, learn, and experiment with your code. I definitely had fun while learning. Lessons were thorough and worked for my busy schedule! I was able to learn the basics of coding without needing to pay a lot of money and Matt goes at a pace that makes it easier to understand. Assignments were fun and this made me feel like coding can be enjoyable!

The Basics workshop is fantastic. I never thought I'd ever be able to get my head around even the 'simplest' code but it was explained in ways I could understand, plus it was fun!

The SheCodes Basics course is a great way to familiarize yourself with the basics of coding. Largely self-paced, the videos are easy to understand and the homeworks and final project keep you on target. For anyone looking to foray into the world of coding, this is a fun start.
Overall, most classes were very easy to understand as Matt Delac made all these lessons easy to understand. Even though I faced challenges throughout the workshop, I always had my questions answered through Slack which have helped me a lot. I had lots of fun figuring out problems that I faced and can't wait to join the more advanced workshops.π€

It is my third workshop with shecodes and I am getting more confident after every lessons. i wouldn't say it was easy, like everyone else I guess, I got very frustrated over a missing coma but overall it was a great journey. Responsiveness is really fun and it is a balancing exercises
This workshop was really fun! I was pleased that SheCodesPlus included the best features of SheCodes Basics while also making a leap forward in terms of the sophistication of techniques and in professional development. I appreciate Matt Delac's teaching at a deeper level now, too. Although he isn't showy or dogmatic about it, Matt has a true professional's discernment for best practices and an almost aesthetic sense of judgment for the relative elegance of competing solutions, which I deeply value as a student. Plenty of self-appointed teachers can show off tricks of the trade or teach expedient, "thrown-together" solutions without transmitting a sense for why one approach to a problem is less adequate than another. In my opinion, that's a major point of value that sets SheCodes apart from its competitors and from the "teach yourself" sites. Matt doesn't want to just teach us to code; he wants to teach us to become *good* coders who are self-reliant, resilient, and resourceful problem-solvers.
Challenging but fun!
A really fun but challenging workshop. I'm amazed at how much I've learned and how much more there still is to go. I rewrote my final project 3 times, each one becoming easier to organize and plan than the previous.
SheCodes really helped me a lot! I knew absolutely nothing about coding and Matt's videos and challenges made it easier to comprehend. I also enjoyed the final project. It allowed me to not only practice everything again thoroughly, but it was a fun, creative experience! Thank you, Matt and thank you to all the wonderful people on SheCodes!

SheCodes Responsive has been a lot of fun. I love the way the course is organized and all the practice we get with each challenge and homework. I had never attemped to code anything before I heard about SheCodes, so I think I'm really learning a lot!

I had never thought of finished a project like this on my own as I thought the coding was like a monster or a great giant to me. I had such a fun time with the SheCodes Basics Workshop. Matt makes it super easy to follow and I loved the little mini projects throughout the first two weeks - it really makes you put what you've learned into practice. While I only had time for the 3-week workshop, I'll probably come back to do one of the longer workshops later down the road. SheCodes is awesome. It has been a really fun journey learning how to code from scratch with SheCodes. I do have zero knowledge on coding and I have not done coding before in my life. But after three weeks of learning in a row, I find it really interesting to be able to code and create something on the internet with my own creativity. I started learning coding with SheCodes 6 months ago. I submit my final project today, and the journey has been life changing. 6 months ago, I had zero idea how to write an h1 but today, I submit a fully functional dictionary app I coded from scratch.
