This was so fun and challenging. I love to be creative and analytical. Coding is a great to highlight those characteristics and I am excited to exercise and learn more in this area!
I had a lot of fun taking the React course, even though it was really challenging compared to the previous courses.
It was a good experience. Fun to learn and easy to follow and catch up if you stay committed to your schedule.
This workshop helped me to learn the fundamentals of coding which include HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I can now take these fundamentals to grow my learning to reach my goal of entering into the field of Web and Software Development. This was a great introduction.
Despite not having any knowledge of coding at all, this course made it very easy to learn. The lesson challenges were also very helpful in learning progression. This course was very fun - 10/10 would recommend π

SheCodes Plus was such a great experience. Matt would say "Okay, this will be fun!" right before he did something very complicated and he was right! I once thought coding was too complex for me to even attempt to study prior to enrolling with SheCodes. However, after learning and working on the materials during SheCodes Basics workshop, with Matt's very easy-to-follow instructions, along with the great help from the technical assistants and fellow students, I have come to understand that coding can also be fun and informative. I'm very happy to have finished my first landing page!
This course was far harder than the Basics, but I found myself wanting to work on it. It was fun and challenging in a way that was somewhat addictive. I just wanted to see where I could go with the skills I learned, and where I could go was a lot of places.

The courses videos were broken into easily digestible pieces which build on top of each other, before you know it you know how to design and build your own web page! They have requirements for the final project which means that unless you copy the demo site code and functionality you do not pass. They list the functionality they require but not the specific order they want it in and if you do not follow the order that they require you fail and have to resubmit.
I love this course and I found it very useful with good exercises to practice. Matt explains in a very nice way which makes things easier to understand, since I was never the technical person. I love learning new things, it was a lot of fun and the course was much better than expected, I was very happy to see the results of my projects. Working as a Recruiter, this course already helped me a lot to have a better idea of what my tech colleagues do in a regular basis.
Started as someone with zero coding knowledge, as a homemaker. Within days I'm surprised at my capability to submit my final project today. It was very challenging but a lot of fun. Matt does a fantastic job of thoroughly walking you through every step of the learning process. I Highly recommend this course for anyone who wants to start their journey in coding.

I've tried a few different "learn to code" courses and have found that they are either too vague or introducing too much at once but this course not only did a really great job of breaking down the material into bite-sized pieces but also managed to make it fun to learn. I felt like I could handle everything it was throwing at me and like I understood how to use the material following the exercises. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone seriously wanting to understand both the how and why behind the basics of HTML, CSS, and JS.
I really enjoyed the teaching styles that Matt and SheCodes provides. The feedback and assistance when you are having difficulties working out your code really makes the whole experience fun and educational.

The SheCodes Basics workshop was a great way test out the coding waters. I had practiced with FreeCodeCamp prior to SheCodes so I had a little bit of practice but it was much easier to have Matt walking us through step by step with explanation and using Slack as extra assistance if needed. Even with a little prior knowledge, I still spent slightly over 5 hours per week for the first two weeks on lessons, challenges, and homework. As I could do this all in my own time, it was very manageable while working a full-time job. I loved and appreciated Mattβs laid back and fun teaching style and highly recommend SheCodes Radio while youβre coding!
As someone with absolutely no coding experience, SheCodes was a very comprehensive and engaging experience. I had so much fun practicing coding with SheCodes. The lessons are quite short (still I learned so much!) and therefore very well manageable at home with two young kids. I was not sure if coding was the way to go for me, (I definitely need to make a wise career choice at this point in my life.) but the Basic Course was a great and affordable way to get to try it for a good while. I AM HOOKED! And so proud of my first little page, that I made!
A very pleasantly structured course with clear progression and implementation of various concepts. Didn't overcomplicate things and really fun. Furthermore, having access to a responsive and friendly team to help with any of your questions was great! 10/10 recommend :)

Learning with sheCodes is more than fun! you actually can see how much you know more every day and that feels great. the people who are supposed to help you are super nice and patient and they're there for you so you're not gonna feel alone or helpless at all and I guess that's the best part.
I'm really happy I decided to sign up for the SheCodes Basic course! It was really fun to learn something new that I didn't mind working on after work. I entered the Pro course to be able to learn JS, since I already know a lot of HTML and CSS and in this first module I was already able to learn a bit of JS and do some fun things with it and it also helped me in my professional job.
Learning React has been a great experience, very interesting, not without challenges, but definitely worth it. The final project was a great and fun way to practice all the tools learned. Now it's over, I wish the course had been a bit longer!

I can easily imagine that everything I just learnt could be taught in a super complicated way. But SheCodes team managed to make the lessons fun and easily understandable! Hopefully this course was one of many steps to my career change.
Being a full language and literature scholar and working in the editorial industry, I didn't think the free coding class would spark much interest in me. But I'm so glad I was wrong: I really connected with the essence of the project since the beginning, and especially with how Matt was able to transmit his knowledge for real beginners. Enrolling on SheCodes Basics gifted me with 3 full weeks of fun, honestly! I didn't feel like the content was "dumbed down", on the contrary: it was highly specific and relevant, yet understandable. I had loads of fun coding along with SheCodesRadio, and the challenges were real challenges: they put me against the wall and required me to deeply understand the materials, which was really fun for once. No pressure, just an entertaining dare. All in all: absolutely would recommend. 10/10 β

When I was in high school (twenty years ago!), I took a couple web development classes and would spend hours after school creating web pages and graphics. I knew I loved creating things for the web, but always did it on the side as more of a hobby since my career was in education. I had been wanting to brush up on my skills for a while, and knew there were a bunch of workshops out there. I picked SheCodes because of the way Matt emphasized that this should be fun...and it was! I've loved seeing how front end development has changed since I first learned and also learning new tools like Visual Studio Code. Thank you for helping me re-learn how to build fun things!

I can not believe that I have built a working weather app using real weather data thanks to the fantastic pedagogically excellent knowledge transfer by Matt.
