Shecodes is awesome! I have finished SheCodes basic and I have to say it was like doing magic. I have no regret of applying to Shecodes, but I have a BIG "Thank you all" who was involved in getting Shecodes the way it is. And thank you once again for the opportunity for Ukrainian women, I never thought coding is so fun and interesting!

I appreciate how SheCodes doesn't underestimate the participants. In most coding courses I've followed, you have to 'copy the instructor', but here you get a challenge where you have to apply what you've learnt in a different scenario than the explanation video. I've had a lot of fun with the homework; and that's a first! The freedom you get in your solutions is great, since you don't have to deliver an exact match. If you have a solution that's slightly different than the suggested one, that's no problem at all!
Matt was very knowledgeable and fun to listen to. I really enjoyed learning JavaScript and I have gained so much experience with SheCodes workshops. Thank you Matt and SheCodes team! I highly recommend anyone who wants to learn coding to learn with SheCodes!!
I came to SheCodes because I wanted to learn coding, it was something I've always wanted to learn and SheCodes made it fun. I understand way more than I did before and now I'm going to use this knowledge to keep learning. I'm super happy that I've taken the basic's course.
Extremely fun! I got a CS degree in college and started these workshops because we didn't learn much front-end. I feel like I'm learning as much as my college coursework yet am having more fun while doing so!

First few weeks went by so quickly, it's almost unbelievable. But on the other hand time likes to leap forward with extreme speed when a person does something fun, inspiring, educating and interesting.
I joined SheCodes with fear of unknown, having no knowledge of coding. It was quite challenging but SheCodes made learning much easier and fun than I expected. SheCodes Plus has been a great experience for me! Learning to code has been a fun and exciting journey, especially coming from a background with no prior knowledge or experience on the topic. After completing the SheCodes Basics, I was excited to learn more about Javascript, HTML and CSS. At times things got a bit challenging, but finding the solution was always rewarding in the end. Thank you to Matt and the She Codes team for the support, I can't wait to begin the next workshop and continue learning!
Shecodes has made my journey to Tech, a very interesting one. Their method of teaching is amazing, instructor Matt breaks down the whole concept and presents it in a very easy way making it fun and interesting. Their community offers great support to students. I am really delighted about my progress and also looking forward to another interesting experience as i move to Shecodes plus.
The first three weeks of the basic course were very interesting. Information is available, very easy to learn. Before I started the course, I thought coding was boring and not for me. Matt and his team proved otherwise. I can and it's fun.

This eight-week workshop was definitely challenging but allowed me to stay on a schedule to build upon what I learned in the first three-week workshop. I really enjoyed learning from Mat's lessons because he made quite advanced concepts in HTML, CSS, & JS understandable. His step-by-step approach makes code that would otherwise be daunting surmountable. To be able to create a fully functional app that utilizes real data in real-time truly gives me a sense of accomplishment in learning coding. I really feel that I have made a massive amount of progress in such a short time.
I've learnt a lot while making my own site. It was fun learning responsive grids, making my website responsive and SEO-friendly. Thanks a lot!
SheCodes Plus was much challenging as compared to SheCodes Basic. Even then, the advantage of SheCodes courses is that we can re-watch the videos, and we are able to get great help from the SheCodes Team on the Slack channel, who answer our questions ever so patiently and promptly. It is also great that Matt will explain the rationale behind certain concepts and some good practices, rather than just step-by-step theory. It is a sense of achievement and joy when we see the codes work properly! Lastly, it is inspiring and fun to browse the projects of other students! Thank you SheCodes Team!
SheCodes has been super interesting and fun! Every lesson is very well taught and the challenges afterwards make sure you can remember and apply what you have learned. When I go to websites now, I always want to figure out how they are coded and there are even times when I think I could do that myself after only 3 weeks! I can't wait to learn more!
I enjoyed taking this workshop. Matt explains everything in much detail and he is easy to follow. I was able to work at my own pace and received much help from classmates and SheCodes staff through Slack. All reference material was accessible at the press of a button if I ever found myself stuck in any particular section of my projects. This workshop was easy to follow, easy to complete, fun, informative, innovative, and encouraging.

I discovered SheCodes on Instagram and decided to take 60 minute coding session with Matt. I registered for the courses the day after. I have some previous experience in HTML and CSS from my high school days so I didn't begin from block one. However, I can say this course challenged me, was super fun and it was so satisfying when you figured out a problem!
This workshop was so interesting though sometimes it was really challenging. I never thought that coding can be so fun. During these three weeks I've learnt so much. I'm looking forward to continue my journey with SheCodes :)

Great course for someone without any prior coding experience. Matt manages to keep the lessons educational and fun. It sure takes some time, but thanks to the bite-sized lessons, I was able to fit the course in with my full time working schedule. Would definitely recommend for absolute beginners!

I just wanted to say that i am glad for applying to SheCodes ,I never thought that coding could be so much fun, also this workshop helped me increase my confidence in coding and showed me a great path to build my career.
I discovered SheCode while scrolling through Instagram. I've always been interested in tech but it can seem pretty overwhelming when you are a complete beginner. I'm so glad I took the free 60-min coding session with Matt. It gave me the confidence I needed to finally try it. I thought JS was going to be the most challenging part, but for me was CSS since your trying to style with code instead of a brush or your apple pencil π ... who knew π€·ββοΈ . Altogether, it was a wonderful experience. Lessons are pretty straightforward and the Slack channels are very helpful! Creating a website yourself is an exciting process and super fun!
I had so much fun taking this course and learning more about the coding that goes into the website my team works on! Javascript was challenging, but I was very excited once I was able to work through how to get my final project to function the way that I wanted it to work.

I'd been thinking about learning to code for a while now, actually ever since I got a targeted ad on Instagram from SheCodes about four months ago π I did some research about different courses, and ended up deciding that not only was SheCodes more affordable than most of the other courses I looked at, but I really liked the idea of how it is set up. The breakdown of ideas is very logical, and incorporating a challenge at the end of each lesson pushed me to actually apply what I had just learned and play around a bit. Also, a HUGE thing for me was access to the slack channels to ask and answer questions. As someone who always had their hand up in school, I was nervous about taking an online course without instructors present to answer my questions. Using the slack channel for my questions was so easy and incredibly helpful! I've also been finding it fun to respond to other people's questions now that I know a bit about what's going on! I am very excited to continue learning with SheCodes.
I really appreciated the course. I tried to learn coding before with some volunteers, and felt totally frustrated. SheCodes has a very clear structure, everything is broken down into small steps, and every step is explained and practiced. I had no problem at all completing the tasks. When I had some challenges, the Slack community helped me out. The SheCodes course is well thought of and organised in a friendly and supportive manner. I have had a real sense of achievement with SheCodes. Coding with She Codes is fun!

As an absolute beginner, I definitely recommend these wonderful workshops. Matt presents the material in a clear and fun way. The structure of the course, deadlines every week, auxiliary generators, pallets on the SheCodes website - all this helped me a lot to organize effective studying. I was pleasantly surprised at what results can be achieved in just 3 weeks. Of course, I understand that this is only the very beginning of the journey. But SheCodes workshops did not scare away from continuing, but rather helped to believe in oneself. I'm looking forward to the next workshopπ€

Following the React workshop, like the other 3 workshops, was simply interesting, motivating but most of all fun π. Matt and his teaching method is inspiring and easy to follow. I was surprised at what I was able to learn so easily β¨. I am happy to have completed the courses!
At first I'm a bit hesitant to even try coding but something at the back of my head tells me i should try. So I did! And I end up having fun doing all the challenges and learning. π

This has been my favorite SheCodes Workshop. Of course it helped to have the base knowledge of the previous (Basics & Plus) but I had a lot of fun exploring the creative side and understanding how I can create my own website to showcase my work

Unlike other courses I tried SheCodes and Matt kept me engaged the whole time and something I thought was boring ended up being really fun! The fact that we get to do our own challenges each lesson and have support whenever we need is great! Never felt alone! Can't wait to learn more :)
SheCodes Plus was an incredible experience that really allowed me to learn a lot about JavaScript and APIs. Building the final project was very fun. This course really challenged me and pushed me outside my comfort zone. I learned a lot of really useful skills and received plenty of help if I was stuck on a problem through the Slack chat with the SheCodes team. I am very proud of what I have learned and accomplished in this course and I am looking forward to continuing on in the SheCodes Pro courses. Definitely HIGHLY recommend this workshop! π
I grow in coding skills every day. I know that I am just at the benning of this journey, but I already feel like I know something and I am eager to start working on developing :) The learning process is so fun and easy - I am sure that I have never enjoyed the process more than I like the workshops with the SheCodes
