I would definitely recommend SheCodes for any woman who wants to learn more about programming. Completing the lessons was a very fun way to get knowledge. I was very happy when I finish my final project.
This time it's was harder than basic course, but fun and challenging in good way. Pacing was so good, you have time to re-do or re-think whole concept and measure your abilities vs wishes.
I had so much fun during the first 3 weeks. I'm definitely looking forward to start the Plus workshop.

As a complete beginner, I started my coding journey with SheCodes in April 2022, which was purely coincidental. I can't believe I've come all the way to completing the React course! The videos are super fun and informative, as Matt guides you step-by-step on what you should be doing. Even 30 minutes a day will help you get a long way.
That is the best course I have ever had in my life! It's super well explained and fun!

In December 2021, with no knowledge whatsoever of coding, I applied to the SheCodes Workshop Foundation and was selected in January to begin learning coding with SheCodes. Today, 7 months down the line, I, Juliet Nnaji, am now a Front-end Developer who is proficient in interpreting designs and building functional, responsive, and user-friendly websites; and also familiar with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript, and React. I can not say thank you enough to Matt and the SheCodes team for taking a chance on me.
For someone who doesn't have any coding basics like myself, this course was very easy and fun to follow!

I think SheCodes Basics is a great investment. It introduced me to the world of coding and taught me the basic fundamentals, all in 3 weeks! When I was learning by myself, through apps, it only taught me coding language, such as html elements for links, images, headings. However, it never taught me how to apply this language and create a functioning webpage. SheCodes filled in this gap and taught me through coding software that developers are actually using. I look forward to continuing my coding journey and thank SheCodes for giving me a great starting foundation!
Building a weather app in this part of the course was very challenging but nevertheless exciting! Now I have a pretty decent project to put on my profile. I really liked that everything was well-explained, so I had zero problems while working on home tasks and the final project. Overall, I learned a lot and had fun in the process :)

I went into this with a bit of apprehension because I am not the best with tech in general but It is an incredibly easy-to-follow workshop and the tasks were really nice and fun to complete.
It was very interesting and awesome 8 week cource. It was may be a little bit complicated for beginner in some chellanges but solved these chellanges was very useful and interesting. I have tried some courses before enrolling into SheCodes courses; none of them made learning easy the way SheCode courses do. I like the way the courses are structured with a lot of practice labs. SheCodes makes learning fun and I will definitely recommend SheCodes courses to anyone who wants to learn how to code.
She Codes Basics has been an amazing experience. The classes were easy to understand and follow along with and very informative. I liked the challenges as they really helped me grasp an understanding of the coding elements. It was great to be self-paced and the final project was fun to work on. I had a wonderful time completing SheCodes Plus! It was fun and challenging creating a custom weather application. I really enjoyed working through the concepts presented to be able to code my final project. Matt explains concepts very well throughout the course. I am very happy that I can now code and easily understand CSS, HTML, and Javascript! βΊοΈ I am looking forward to completing the next two SheCodes courses, Responsive and React!

This was very fun and a great way to get started if you want to learn how to code and don't know where to begin. The SheCodes Basic course has given me an opportunity to peek behind the curtain and access a whole new world. Obviously, you won't learn everything there is to know in this course - but it has left me wanting to know more!
I had so much fun learning about the basics of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. The course was easy to follow and if I needed help, all I had to do is just ask a question on the slack channel.

I can't believe it only takes 3 weeks to learn how to build a website! This course is wonderful - it's fluent, uses short lessons and quick tasks that really improve the learning process, it's fun and with a flexible timeline - SheCodes is really the best online course I've ever taken! I especially enjoyed the design part of it - web development is such a cool way to express your ideas!
The basic course is easy to follow. By doing simple exercises step by step, at the end of the second week I understood that I had some skills and started to have fun with coding.

Taking this workshop was hard at times but also so much fun. If you like doing puzzles or building things, you will definitely like coding. I would do it all over again and have recommended to friends if they are interested in learning something new.
I really enjoyed the lessons and the exercises. Each lesson is short (up to 12 minutes) and delivered very clearly! There were very challenging exercises for someone who doesn't have any background in programming, but at the same time very fun! I highly recommend signing up if you are unsure about coding. I enjoyed every minute and I'm glad I was finally exposed to the world of programming!
It was a quite challenging, fun and an interesting ride. Especially the building of the Weather App. From no prior coding skill to being able to build a Functioning Weather APP. I've learned a lot during that course, I enhanced my skills and have a lot of fun too. What is the most valueable is that You are building an app during the whole course together with the tutorials and challanges.
Since starting I have fallen in love with learning how to code! I feel like at first coding sounded intimidating but once I really put my all into it and asked questions when needed it became eye-opening and fun!

SheCodes Plus was a big challenge for me, I felt overwhelmed sometimes but was a perfect way to push me more and more to continue. The final project was super funny and beautiful at the end. Can't wait for the next step.

Learning with Matt on SheCodes is fun, engaging, and not tiring at all. I like how each lesson is structured. I especially liked that I had to search for some information because I believe that it's extremely useful for my future job.
Lessons are explained in an easy way. Homework tasks are also very clear, but I find a little difficult to remember the code elements. Coding was very interesting and fun for me.

I saw an advertisement for SheCodes just at a point in my career when I was wondering how much longer I would start conversations with "I am not super technical..". She SheCodes Basic program introduced me to all these scary techy topics at a great pace and in a fun way. My goal was to demystify coding and it has definitely done that!

Very good interface, you can easily find the video. Things are described very well, so I could understand. Good structure of studying material, all things are followed after each other. Helpful challenges even though not every one was funny to do.

i think discussed functions were really useful, but the learning process is a bit off. tasks basically require you to repeat everything you have already done in the video. We build up functions in a very confusing way, add them, and get rid of them. We have spent so much time to learn how to switch F to C just so we can get rid of that at the end......
I really enjoyed Shecodes Basics and highly recommend it to everyone who want to get an idea what coding is about! It was fun to watch Matt's videos as they are easy to follow/understand. The challanges were a lot of fun too. But mostly I enjoyed doing my own project, because you can already play around with the skills you learnt. I will definitley enroll for the SheCodes Pro course as I now know that I absolutely wanna move on and become a professional front end developer!
It was challenging but still fun because it helps you think out of the box and help you do hard things. Putting my growth mindset to use was one of the things I loved most.

This is an excellent course. I learned a few new techniques and practiced the OpenWeatherAPI. The course has a convenient organization that helps personal time management. I'm a bit stuck with parametrized callback functions in axios but found a solution by googling. Thanks a lot.
SheCodes Basics was the perfect introduction to coding, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wanted to learn coding to develop my skillset, increase creativity and improve cross-department collaboration with the development and product teams. All of the challenges and practical exercises were extremely helpful in putting what you learnt to the test! SheCodes made something that was quite intimidating to me, very fun and interesting! Another great SheCodes course! I love how by each course, you get 'set loose' more and more. It is more challenging that way, but it also makes it more fun. Though the two React projects are technically done, I still want to play around with them more. Sometimes it was hard to reach the weekly deadlines (I also took the course during summer holiday), but it was easy to extend a week at a time. Some of the documentation for e.g. the dictionary API was not 100% up to speed, but it's understandable that that will happen quickly - it also makes the course more 'realistic' in a way, as I'm sure similar problems could happen in 'the real world'. The course is not comprehensible enough for me to now call myself a React developer, but there is definitely a good fit between duration, price and quality. Most importantly, it has made me get excited about React and learning more!
I've completed all 4 courses with SheCodes. I've taken a variety of online coding courses in the past and SheCodes has easily been the best. Each course has been easy to understand and follow along, the challenges help you apply what you've just learned and the projects have been fun to complete.
