I always thought that coding is not for me and that it was totally black magic. After being frustrated with not finding the right job, I jokingly said to myself 'Maybe it's time to learn how to code... cause this at least seems to be in demand these days.' I followed this thought, signed up and definitely don't regret it! I really enjoyed the course, and at the very end creating the final project was pure fun! :) I liked the structure of the workshops - the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Tasks were challenging sometimes but not too difficult. 10/10! :)
I truly enjoyed the Basics course - the materials covered, the set up, the challenges. It is a fun, engaging and accessible model that I believe anyone could learn coding from. So glad I decided to take this and take the leap!

Highly recommend this workshop to everyone! I find React more interesting and fun as I learn through the lessons. I've gained more knowledge about how React works with the advanced features. The workshop are definitely challenging sometimes but with all the resources and help that you can get from online and Slack, I find it very rewarding when I was able to figure out the codes and debug the errors.
So proud of myself! 8 weeks and I already know how to create an app with real data. Can't say it was easy, but despite all troubles I faced, it was lots of fun. Live chat support is great! Can't wait for another workshop to start:) Definetely worth your time!

Yeey, I finished the Responsive course! Iβm still happy with SheCodes and this is my third course β only one more to go (the React course)! I knew nothing about coding before the course. Now after finishing the course I have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript. I've had a lot fun during these three weeks. Having small challenges and weekly homework keeps you engaged throughout the weeks. The community and the support have been great and of course Matt's videos have been easy to follow along.

I've done other beginner courses and found I was completely bewildered because the "teachers" were techy savvy but had no idea how to teach. You make it accessible and fun!

She Codes Plus was challenging but fun. Sometimes it was hard to get through all the new information, but in the end it all came together like a puzzle.
This workshop has been quite the ride! So much guidance every step plus online support for when you just can't get it working the way you are intending. There was so much information and techniques in these few weeks that I feel I am more comfortable using HTML, CSS, and even Javascript. Building a real working web app is such a fantastic way of truly understanding the concepts of how these languages all work together to create something fun and useful.

This is a great workshop, and the best thing is that, this is a workshop and you have to do all the stuff yourself, so it wouldn't be like a online course in which you only have to watch videos. Here with having deadlines and fun challenges, not only I learnt a lot, but also it really helped me building confidence in what I can do and what I know.

At first, coding sounded very intimidating and I knew it was going to be a challenge but this was something I wanted to do for a very long time to make that career change. After going through the SheCodes Basic workshop, it helped me gain confidence that I can do this. Although there were struggles and frustrations along the way, I kept at it and Matt did a great job explaining how to code step by step. I had a lot of fun doing the final project and seeing the results is very satisfying that I was able to create it from scratch. I am looking forward to the other workshops ahead and learning more.
My past experience made me hesitant to try and learn to code. I've completed the Basics and Plus workshops and I'm surprised by how much I've enjoyed learning to code. I really like that the challenges and homework help to reinforce the information that was taught. The fact that I was able to code a functioning weather app is a testament to how well the lessons are presented. I've been looking for a coding course for some time, but none offered such a brilliant approach to teaching as SheCodes. The amount of new information, the pace, and the deadlines for homework and projects are very well balanced. This way, the course is really fun, and thinking about learning to code does not sound stressful anymore. π€©
This was a great introduction to coding and the final project was fun to create. The lessons and assignments along the way build well. It was nice to have the earlier lessons available for a refresh, or to go back and look at code from an assignment to remember how it all came together.
This was the first time I took a peek into the world of coding and wasn't sure what to expect. Now, after the the first course I have to say, it is a lot more fun then I though and have developed a genuine interest in the subject. The classes are well paced, the explanations are clear and love the fact that after each lesson we have a chance to try out our understading of the class with the challenges.
Really well developed lesson plan, it was so nice to start from the basics. While it was sometimes challening, I loved the exercises after the lesson as it really pushes you to try out what you learnt. I had a lot of fun with this course!

This workshop was super fun and engaging. I learned so much and feel more confident in my ability to write code and finally feel like I can read and understand functions. I still struggle to fully write functions without notes, but I know with more practice and the resources provided in this workshop, I will be successful with it.
