The Vanilla Weather App was an amazing project to deepen my JavaScript skills! I learned how to work with APIs and build a user-friendly interface with real functionality. It really showed me how far Iβve come β and inspired me to keep going!
Building this AI generator was so fun! I was a bit intimidated at first because it's been a while since I last did a SheCodes workshop, but the steps were easy to follow and I just kept remembering everything Matt taught in previous workshops. I tried to build something to make someone's day sweeter, no matter how they're feeling. Hope this puts a smile on someone's face!
What a tough one but I am incredibly proud of the skills I've gained and applied in building my recent Python project, which successfully visualizes global internet population trends. This endeavor honed my proficiency in data handling and processing using the csv module, enabling me to efficiently extract and prepare raw data. I further enhanced my capabilities in data structuring, expertly leveraging dictionaries to organize complex information by continent for seamless access. The project culminated in my adept use of matplotlib.pyplot for data visualization, where I transformed numerical data into an insightful and professional line graph, demonstrating my ability to create clear, customized, and compelling visual narratives. Overall, this project significantly deepened my command of core Python fundamentals and reinforced my passion for data-driven problem-solving, it was not easy with so many breaks, but definitely worth it.

I found Python basics relatively logical after my initial struggle with JavaScript. It's really nice to be able to spot the parallels between the two coding languages. Thanks to the patient breakdown of Pythons key words and functions from Matt, I think I've got a solid basis to build on now. Excited to see what else can be done with Python!

SheCodes Basics Add-on has been so much fun! A huge thank you the SheCodes team for being there when I had questionsπ₯°! With the addition of new concepts such as grids, CSS transform, and class manipulation, Add-on has been a great addition to my coding journey. One of the most valuable things Iβve learnt is how to improve the consistency of styling via the use of fraction units within grids to ensure that images displayed in a grid are of the same size and take up the same space. Being able to utilise the information that has been taught throughout the course within the Final Project has been a great way to apply my knowledge and learn how to rectify coding errors.
As someone completely new to coding, joining SheCodes has been an eye-opening and empowering experience. Iβve had the chance to explore HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptβand to actually build something real and personal, like my own photography-themed webpage! I really enjoyed the React Add-On workshop. I learnt to build a fully functional dictionary, showing meanings, examples, synonyms and images related to the word. The project involved using APIs and react loops, also splitting application into different components to ensure they are clear, and easy to understand/manoeuvre. It's really amazing to have made it this far in my coding journey, starting from understanding html basics to vanilla javascript, python and react- I thank Matt for his great and detailed tutorship as well as the SheCodes support team for their prompt support/guidance whenever needed.

I had so much fun completing the SheCodes Basics course and learnt so much in 3 weeks! Matt was very good at explaining things and learning/completing challenges in bite-sized chunks really helped me to remain focused and retain information! I went through a few tricky moments with JavaScript functions and organising my code properly to make it all work but the resources, Matt's videos and help from the Slack channel go me through! I enjoyed completing the 8-week SheCodes Plus course. The curriculum offered an in-depth exploration of advanced HTML and CSS, while also building a strong foundation in JavaScript through its focus on data types, functions, and development workflow.
