I loved every minute of the 3 week workshop from start to finish. I looked forward to every challenge just to see how far my knowledge of coding was growing thanks to Matt's amazing teaching. I'm a pretty busy wife and mother so being able to learn on my own time within the given deadline periods was a major positive for me. I look forward to start SheCodes Plus VERY soon!
Wow! I can't believe it's been 8 weeks. Time flies when you are learning and having fun at the same time. I learned SO much within the course of 8 weeks and looking back before I even started, I have grown a lot. You can definitely finish the course shorter than 8 weeks if you put the time, but I chose to take it slowly, day by day. Now I have this amazing project I can add to my portfolio... and oh how satisfying it is when your code works! :)
It's amazing to see how far I've come and how much I've learnt since I started the first workshop. I know this final project is just a simple weather app, but I'm proud to have been able to finish it without too much hassle.

Coding with SheCodes was an amazing journey. After SheCodes introduction course, I was impressed by how fluently the lessons were. I decided to take a challenge and dare to join the SheCodes plus team even though I'm working a full-time job. And you know what? It was challenging but it was worth it. These lessons made me happy because I've learned frontend coding from a very beginner level. I think that I've found another skill which will be useful in the future and the more I'm learning, the more I like coding.

I have always wanted to learn coding, but as a worker with a young child, I was very anxious to take that first step. Now, I am disappointed I didn't start sooner! It was great to see my 1st coding project ever coming to life! SheCodes Plus has been an amazing adventure to me. Challenges were of course part of it, but I still can't believe I made it to a functioning weather app. There's much more to learn about coding, but I'm glad I could learn some useful skills during the last 8 weeks.

Super interesting course! I would highly recommend it to anyone that has never done coding before and would like to deep dive in this amazing area. Wow, what an adventure. Over the last few months I've learned so much more about Web Design than I would have expected when I started my coding journey. Working full time made it a bit stressful from time to time (and there were a few quite long Sunday evenings). But it was my motivational spark in lockdown times and it never got boring. Thanks to Matt and his amazing support team, I can now proudly say that I have built my first landing page and a weather app. So if anyone asks what to do with all the free time you have right now: try something new - learn to code!

SheCodes Plus were challenging workshops that demanded a lot of logical thinking and a lot of work but it was worth it! These were such amazing courses! I loved learning step by step the "how to" in basic HTML, Javascript, and CSS to the intensity that came with the React application. It's been a wild ride, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Matt's way of teaching allows people to actually learn and absorb the information given.
The course was amazing for beginners: an intuitive setup with great, short and easy understandable videos to learn all essential basics of coding combined with hands-on tasks and projects and a very logical and useful program structure. I loved that I could do everything at my own pace and was still motivated with the fixed deadlines and could get support whenever needed.
So far this was the best programming experience related to front-end development. Matt is an amazing teacher, the videos are well made and very well explained. The support that we receive on slack is good and I was happy that I also could help another students with doubts. I'm excited to finish this workshop, to add this project to my portofolio for future references and also excited to join the last workshop: React. I love the step-by step instructions to start programming as well as the explanations and the encouragement to be independent and find out of the box solutions or try to solve the puzzles by yourself instead of immediately searching for assistance. It is an amazing program full of talented woman from all over the world. I've learn A LOT in just 3 weeks. Totally worth it.

SheCodes is amazing!!! It is enjoyable, easily informative and it is a coding education platform that ACTUALLY makes you WANT to do the work and put in the effort to code. I am very happy with all of my projects so far and whenever I have asked for assistance (ahem...wrong homework submission π€¦πΎββοΈπ), it was given without hesitation. Matt is very patient and calm in his tone in the lesson videos. You also don't get the feeling that he's rushing you, which is useful when you're learning something like this and which I especially found helpful. The content is concise and easy to retain in my head and once you get the hang of it (which is easy to do with this course), it really lets your creativity go and you discover a whole new art form. Coding. The artistic flair of computing language. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to any woman who is taking up coding as a career path or even as a constructive and creative hobby. Ever since I was a little girl I talked about how I would love to learn how to be a hacker and do all that "magic" using computers, but I never knew how to. Since I struggled with math, I was more inclined and was led to a degree in social sciences/humanities and that idea went asleep. Now, a 24 year old, I stumbled upon a SheCodes ad online and that was it, I knew I had to do it and I couldn't be prouder or happier. I feel so accomplished and I feel that I can do anything, it's such a rewarding feeling! The workshop is amazing, Matt explains everything in a very detailed way and the videos are really helpful, we can see and understand everything and follow along as we go. Coding and things like bootstrap or GitHub can be very overwhelming at first but Matt does an amazing job in teaching the learnings very well with an effective mix of theoretical, explanatory videos and practical exercises. Since I started working as an IT Recruiter and found out about all the IT world I've always wanted to be part of it, not only by understanding the technologies, terms, and theoretical knowledge but to actually being able to code. SheCodes gave me the amazing opportunity of proving myself I can do anything I put my mind to. The greatest part is that you don't even have to have a B.S. as a software engineer to actually learn to code!
I've been trying to get into computer programming for ages but always found with other online resources that I didn't know what to do once I got stuck. SheCodes has been amazing because Matt breaks everything down in a really easy to understand way, and if I ever run into trouble there's always someone on hand to help out! Highly recommend it!
I was expecting to learn a little bit more of the languages, but i already knew them, so my expectations were high. I think that we should have learned more in this last week, because we didn't learn anything new in this last week.
