Never in a million years did I think I would be able to grasp what coding was about but thanks to this course I did just that. After completing the 3 week introductory course with SheCodes, I couldn't wait to carry on coding with SheCodes Plus. Overall such an excellent & well thought out course that is really enjoyable, challenging, and without a doubt extremely rewarding! I have learnt so much in a short amount of time and I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to do the same. In SheCodes plus I began to realise the power of what a few lines of code can really do in JavaScript! It is a jump up from the introductory course for sure, but as always the support is amazing. Slack is used through out the course as a way to ask questions with other students and the SheCodes team. I have really enjoyed learning and creating amazing websites. I would recommend this for anyone to give it a try. All the sessions are easy to understand and the support group is amazing thing to have. This is definitely a skill worth having!
This workshop is amazing! The learning structure is very easy to follow with very well paced video tutorials that explain everything step by step and challenges that make you replicate the tutorials to really instill the knowledge in you. Support is there 24/7 if you need it and the coding is taught in a really fun way, I would definitely recommend to anyone, you don't even need that much time set aside for it.
I really love SheCodes, its an amazing website to help women build confidence, and pursuit in a career builder. I would love to learn more and take further classes to expand my knowledge on coding.

This first workshop at SheCodes has been an amazing experience. I have always been interested in coding and as a marketing professional I work very closely with web designers, app developers, and programmers but never completely immersed in their departments. Naturally, in marketing you learn a lot of CSS and HTML but it was never enough. The SheCodes classes have filled the holes in my knowledge and helped me make sense of the work I have been doing allowing me to be a better and more innovative marketing designer.

The SheCodes Plus workshop was amazing, challenging but truly great. After these 8 weeks not only did I learn a lot but now I can navigate the internet and actually understand what other coders are talking about and find my answers alone, which before was impossible. It had been a long time since I got so excited about something, taking the workshop really made me kind of take control of my life again. Before I started this workshop, coding had been some "magic land" for me I had just heard something about, but actually I hadn't known how it works or how to write a code. I've learned a lot of things and had so much fun during creating my own website and combining my creativity with this "magic". The classes were really easy to understand, I was surprised how step by step, day after a day, I understood and remembered more and I was able to do more. It was also an amazing feeling to create something and see that it worked on the website (like a button or Java script). I would recommend this workshop to everyone who wants to start their journey with coding.

This introduction to coding was just amazing! Learning to code with Matt was probably equal to binge-watching your favorite Netflix series. I kept being astonished by how the web works. This was an amazing program! I had no experience with coding beforehand and had only heard about Python as a coding language. SheCodes is great because, unlike other coding workshops and camps, there is no lengthy process to apply and isn't expensive for beginners.

I always thought coding was super hard and boring, and I could not contemplate ever learning this skill. How wrong was I? With the right teacher and resources it is definitely not only do-able, but FUN! Matt is a fantastic teacher, and with his clear and concise explanations learning to code is an achievable goal. Being able to not only watch, but then do really makes the whole learning experience amazing. I can't wait to start the SheCodes + workshop. I love being able to see what I code, transform into a beautiful website. Being able to see visually the result of a change really enables my brain to learn through trial and error. Love it, cannot rate this workshop highly enough. Bring it on!

This was such an amazing experience! I'm not just saying that either, I started off being excited about learning how to code and it ended on such a high note that I what to continue the experience and learn more. It gets frustrating when you can't figure out what's wrong with your code but there's such a strong and healthy supportive community to guide you, and when you finally fix the bug then its the best feeling. I am a Designer and a Luxury Marketer and I had always wanted to develop my coding skills to the next level, but I always postponed it because I thought it was very complicated and hard to understand until I got to learn from Matt! He explains in a very smooth and easy way for you to completely understand and his team is always there for your questions. I must say that when I started to do this course, I did not expect that I will willingly spend night hours after work watching lessons and learning to code. But I did. I enjoyed every lesson with challenges and when I was working or doing anything else, I was thinking about what will I learn today and was so excited to continue. Matt shows and explains everything so simply, which made this course even more thrilling. And thanks to technical support and other students that are willing to help if you find yourself stuck with your code, you avoid feeling frustrated or bored! In just those 3 weeks (counting 2 as the third was work on the final project) you learn how to do basic webpage! It is just amazing! I will undoubtedly continue with other SheCodes courses.

I have really enjoyed learning how to code with SheCodes. You guys are amazing! I feel very confident in my coding now. I am a wife and mother of 6 children and with everything going on in the world right now I knew I needed to start a career that I love with some type of job security. I have been in medical billing and coding for over 10 years and it was time for me to do something I would really enjoy, something that didn't feel like work because I enjoyed it so much! I have worked out of many different billing systems and my goal is to one day build a user friendly billing system that company's can use.
