Coding first caught my eye this summer when I felt I was done with running restaurants and I decided to learn a new skill. I did not know a lot about coding but the more I learned the more I love it. This was an amazing and challenging experience. I’m Glad I pulled through.

I was going through a crisis where I felt like I graduated in the wrong major, I knew I wasn’t passionate for it and so I wanted to give coding a try since it’s something that has always been in the back of my mind. I didn’t want to end up doing another 2-4 years in school and other workshops are very expensive, I’m currently unemployed so when I found shecodes, I got everything I was looking for. They helped me find my passion in this, they helped me with the price and everything about this course is just amazing.

I found SheCodes Plus to be a great course. It's a similar set out to SheCodes Workshop, just with a bit more content! After completing my introduction to coding, I decided to embark on this amazing course to keep on learning and challenging myself. I already recommended this workshop to one of my colleagues and would definitely recommend it to anyone who does not know anything about coding. The pre-recorded lessons extremely convenient since you can work on each project|| homework on your own time and pace. "She codes" has made me fall in love with coding.

SheCodes is an amazing workshop! Before joining the workshop, I was a little bit nervous as I was a complete beginner. However, my friend, who is SheCodes alumni, assured me that I will enjoy the workshop. And she was right! Step-by-step instruction allowed me to understand coding at my own pace and whenever I encounter a problem, SheCodes staff helped me solve the problem. I would recommend the workshop for everyone!

Looking back to when I started on this coding journey and comparing that to the very moment when I finished my Weather app project in vanilla JS, it really is amazing how much i have learnt, evolved and how much confidence I have gained that I can now take a project into my hands and make it happen, from scratch! Whew! What could I say this time? Well, I can surely say that, if after finishing the first SheCodes workshop I enjoyed learning to code, now I've definitely fell in love with it. Matt is an amazing instructor, and the lessons were really clear and well-organized. I definitely learned so much from him. The deadlines are also reachable, I could manage even though this time my days were busier than the time I was part of the first workshop. I'm really happy to have been part of SheCodes Plus, mainly because it helped me to realize that I definitely want to keep learning about coding (I'm decided to be a programmer), and it gave me a great base to continue my studies here now.

Learning to code in a couple of months was not easy but I definitely enjoyed every single moment of it. I can't believe I went from not knowing how to use Visual Studio Code to coding an interactive, real-life weather app. Thanks to Matt and his teaching team! They are amazing! I knew I could ask them any questions whenever I bumped into issues while coding.

SheCodes will teach you how to build an app, in 8 weeks, which is amazing but requires to commit to it!! It is hard and frustrating at times but once you get it right, it feels great! I probably have to re-watch a bunch of the videos, just to make sure I get it. I'm very happy with this program and hope I can pursue in that field.

This was my third workshop with SheCodes and I enjoyed learning React. I'm so appreciative of Matt's way of explaining and teaching the topics. I was able to follow along and understand what is happening. SheCodes has been amazing! I enjoyed this workshop so much! I hold a PhD in Neurobiology and I was an absolute beginner before starting this workshop. I thought my brain won't be able to get how to code. I am truly amazed how quick we learnt and what we are already able to do! True, we still have a lot to learn (so google will be your best friend for a while :D ) but it is also so addictive. I've been trying to get into coding for YEARS. And once, I committed to four months of intense self-study and I burned out, and after all that I didn't even know what to do with all that knowledge; how to apply it or how to use it. Highly recommend all three workshops with SheCodes! I do wish React was longer and it would be nice to have a different project from the weather app in SheCodes Plus, though I do appreciate seeing how to take a vanilla js project and build it through React. The SheCodes team is extremely helpful and I enjoyed being part of the community on Slack. After completing all three workshops, I believe more education is needed before applying to any junior development roles, but this is an amazing start and provides a lot of resources and knowledge to get you started in software development!
