I have tried to learn programming for a long time, I just didn't know how or where to start. I tried various free courses but I never finished them because I didn't actually feel like I was learning. With SheCodes I feel like I have learned and I have what I need to start something amazing. I'm about to major as a Mechanical Engineer and I feel like programming can lead me to a new path that I've always wanted. Thank you SheCodes.

I started this program knowing absolutely nothing. I wont lie and say this class wasn't challenging, it was. I am glad i took this class and I would be continuing my education with shecodes. Matt was a great instructor. The only thing I would say is that some of the challenges needed us to use a few things that wasn't taught yet and that was a little confusing and frustrating to me. Other than that, it was an amazing experience
I wanted to learn how to code, but I did not have the confidence to sign up and go to school. I started looking at different options/classes to take online, and when I found SheCodes, I was definitely intrigued! Not only is it tailored to women which is amazing but also the classes are so interactive and you learn so much! I have already recommended this to a couple of my girl friends and they will also sign up! Very excited for the future and be able to start working as a web developer! Wish me luck everybody! :)

Waaw I can't believe this journey got to an end. I spent 3 amazing months learning how to code, from the induction learning CSS and HTML to JavaScript and React. It has been a great opportunity to be able to immerse myself in programming and I would definitely recommend these workshops to anyone who is interested in coding. I cannot explain how happy I am for being able to learn with Matt Delac and the SheCodes team, it was so inspiring that I applied to continue my studies in a Dev bootcamp, starting in April. I am thrilled about the new world I have just discovered!
SO MANY FEELINGS: so happy because it was a super fun journey through all these courses, but sad because it is over :) :( . This one was a real challenge, but as always Matt was able to explain and demonstrate everything perfectly. I am very happy that I had discovered SheCodes in this last summer, and I cannot be more thankfull to Matt and the whole team for having created and maintained this academy. Never in my life I would though to become passionate about frontend development. In my few years of experience, I always loved the backend component, and hated the frontend. Never understood CSS or HTML, and was scare to engage in the React thing. But after this experience I learned A LOT and actually have decided to try to change my career to be more frontend"ish" . I truly and deeply advise every women who wants to improve their frontend technicall skills to enjoy this amazing journey. Be safe!
Well design and built course! I had an amazing experience while doing this module. The lessons are presented in a very comprehensive and well structured way. React was a hard but rewarding module! I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to start coding and want to build a strong knowledge in the coding world.

SheCodes Workshops has been quite a ride... The react workshop is the final lap of a road and undoubtedly the most challenging and rewarding one. It is unbelievable how much can be learned during 5 months with the adequate direction, and guidance from tutors who absolutely love their work and share not only their knowledge but passion about it. I feel now passionate myself about the new brave coding world. Amazing.

SheCodes is AMAZING! I've been majoring in Computer Science for over a year now, and I've been recently interested in front-end development and learning a few new languages. The workshops were the perfect place for me to get started over winter break! Matt takes things step-by-step and zooms in to explain the nitty gritty of the code. He neither makes it too long and superfluous nor too vague; it is just the right amount of explanation! In addition, you have this whole team of women around the world standing with you as a united force learning these new coding languages -- all of which are there at your disposal to help guide you and learn with you through Slack chat. Professional help is also available-- and they truly do help with whatever question or trouble you may have! (This is a unique twist from undergraduate help in college... ahaha.) Videos can be fast-forwarded 30 seconds or rewound for 30 seconds. You can always go back to previous lessons. The best part? A review of the video and significant concepts are left underneath each video. I have never encountered such a helpful platform to help me get started. Matt flawlessly lets us grow wings throughout the lessons as well so that we can find outside coding help and experiment for when we won't have a helpful guide in our future coding adventures. I recommend SheCodes to any woman interested in learning front-end development (website-building) or coding in general. What are you waiting for?

I always felt curious about coding world. Nowadays I work full time (in a completely different field) and I don't have much time for myself. This coding bootcamp it's been an amazing introduction to coding. If you are not sure (like me) if coding world is for you, this bootcamps is really helpful. Easy explanations and challenging exercises that will lead you to know more about coding. Thanks to shecodes I feel I've discovered a totally new hidden skill. I'm eager to beggin the next workshop!

I stumbled upon SheCodes ad while watching some tutorial trying to understand how to start programming. I usually skip ads but this time was different. What a ride this was! The whole workshop is amazing and everything is well step-by-step explained. You will learn the basics but it is enough to built your own page with some cool functionalities. And if you struggle with being patient this is the way how to work on it as well. Trust me! I enjoyed every bit of the workshop and recommend it to anyone wanting to start coding or just try if this is the right path. I am gonna definitely continue with Plus React. Thank you!
This course is really amazing! I have tried to learn coding by myself through various free online materials before but it is really hard to pick up if one don't have any basic concept of it. But Matt made everything simple and easy to understand and I eventually create my own page. Even though there are still lots of things to be learnt, this is a wonderful beginning of my coding journey.
SheCodes was an amazing workshop! I will continue with SheCodes Plus in the summer. I learned a lot and found my passion for coding. The radio really got me through the assignments, and I just got lost in it all! I will continue to learn more and gain a career as a front end and back end developer!

This is one of the most amazing coding courses out there!! I knew the basics about HTML but it was more theoretical than practical. Now I can say I can code a basic landing page. The way Matt set out and designed this course makes it possible for anyone with a computer and a WIFI signal to be able to understand and code within 3 weeks. Highly recommend doing this course!!
I never thought about coding. I thought it was boring and not my kind of thing. Well.. I loved it! It's amazing to build something by yourself, it's amazing to understand what's behind all those letters and numbers. The workshop is well explained, step by step, the homeworks are very useful to practice. The SheCodes community ready to help is just amazing. And I loved the SheCodes radio! It is an amazing course. I could learn easily. Matt's lessons are authentic and easy to understand. The community is really helpful. Whenever I needed help somebody in the community helped me. This course drag me to a new perspective of what is programming. I thought it was difficult, but it isn't. Now I want to learn more.

It was a struggle to actually find time to complete this workshop. Not because the workshop was difficult but because real life was mad! Lovely Daniela was always handy to give me extensions on the deadlines π I loved to learn a bit more about coding, although, I must confess, it was a little frustrating to achieve a few things (like retrieving the correct time for the app π€― ). On the other hand, when I managed to get hold of how things worked, I did a little victory dance π I would strongly recommend this workshop to everyone wanting to learn coding, even if you don't have any coding background (I'm the perfect example for that!) It's such a great experience learning code. Matt explains everything that is required per lesson without over complicating it. He does such and amazing job! And honestly, the response time in helping out students is unbelievably quick and always spot on. The whole team is amazing!

I really enjoyed the course, it was very challenging but the explainations were flawless, I feel like I learned a lot. The Introduction to Coding course has been an amazing three-weeks long journey! Challenging at times, but so motivating and inspiring. Now that I completed the course I feel to be ready to create from scratches landing pages and why not, even a personal website dedicated to personal branding π
I came in with no prior knowledge of code. I was interested to start because I want to have my own businesses online, this had already lead me to web designing with templates and then wanting more freedom/control. I have to say, I didn't expect that I would enjoy learning online so much, the lessons are easy to follow and you get to practice straight away, which is amazing! You also have to research some things, all of these practices put together give you great habits for your future. I've flown through the first course and can't wait to get started with SheCodesPlus. A few months ago, I didn't think someone like me with no understanding of the programming languages would know them, let alone learn how to code and play with codes! It feels like a whole lot of doors of opportunity have opened up to me. Suddenly my dreams of entering the IT industry are renewed. My dreams of freelancing and eventually owning my own company seems possible, all because of one amazing human, his wonderful team, and his great website. SheCodes Plus is an amazing workshop! I must admit that I scratched my head a lot of times when finishing my project. I am sad to leave this workshop as it had been super fun, but I am proud to say that I am finishing it off with a good amount of knowledge on coding. I received a lot of help from the staff and I couldn't be any more satisfied with this workshop.

Plus took what I had learned in the Introduction to Coding workshop and continued to build on developing knowledge while adding new stuff along the way, leading to a final project I am really proud of! It was an amazing journey to participate in the SheCodes Workshop! When I was at secondary school the coding seemed to me as a boring and complicated subject. After years of graduating from school, I have discovered SheCodes and was surprised. I have completely changed my mind about programming. Now I think it is an interesting, challenging and fun thing to do because it also requires creativity. I work as a pharmacist and don't have much space for creativity at work. SheCodes showed me that I am can express myself in another field and I'm happy about it. I would recommend SheCodes for everyone who wants to find another area for their career and change something in life. I can't wait to learn more about coding and participate in other workshops!

The knowledge and confidence I've gained in coding in such a short amount of time is truly amazing. I can't recommend this program enough! I was previously a restaurant General Manager before COVID-19 and then laid off. I decided to make the best of a bad situation and learn coding as a total beginner. I am confident that I will be able to get into the tech industry with what I've learned from SheCodes.
This course is amazing! The videos are easy to follow along and work through but still challenging enough for you to test your own abilities as you learn. The Slack group with other students in it is super helpful when you get stuck staring at your code not sure why it's not working. Another set of eyes can help find those small typos or even offer advice on what you are missing or doing incorrectly.
The SheCodes Workshop is a great course for absolute beginners. There is a challenge after each lesson which helps a lot to practically learn what you've just heard/seen.
