What an amazing workshop! It taught me a lot, and I am so glad that I managed to create my own app. I am really excited to start my next workshop on SheCodes as well. And, I highly recommend it to those who would like to learn more about coding.
This was an amazing introduction to the coding industry. I've been hearing about it from friends but never really thought I would dabble in it myself. Then during the pandemic, I thought, why not try something new? And here I was! It's nice that you can go at your own pace since I am also working full time as well so that was challenging but rewarding! Would definitely recommend trying something for yourself to see if you have a deeper interest :)
These last weeks just flew by! It's amazing how much I've learned... I still feel insecure though, since all the information isn't quite "cemented" yet, but I am proud of how much I've accomplished so far. Can hardly wait to see whats next!
Learning with SheCodes for the past few months was a life changing and fulfilling experience for me. The way that the SheCodes Basics course is set out makes it really easy to follow. Every step is covered and built on upon piece by piece, with the freedom to go back to any previous step to jog your memory. It's amazing how achievable it is to code something just by knowing the basics!
In less than three weeks, I was able to build a basic webpage with working buttons and links! Matthieu did an amazing job explaining the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I am very happy with the content of this course, and what I was able to accomplish in such a short time.

This was a super fun course and since I am a visual learner, the videos worked really well for me. It has been great to understand a topic that felt so foreign to me before this course. I have loved being part of a community of people from all over the globe. I also have a twin brother that is an amazing programmer and I have loved being able to learn and discuss coding with him! This course was amazing. I was able to start with no experience in coding at all and everything was explained and demonstrated really well in the lessons. The final project allowed you to put what you learnt into practice and also challenge yourself! I highly recommend it!

This Basics Course is a great way to find out if we enjoy programming and if this is really what you want to do. You learn all the basics to be able to design and create a website or a landing page. I had a blast during this course and Matt is an amazing teacher. You learn the basics to be a successful developer and I totally recommend this course to everyone who wants to start programming.

My experience at SheCodes was amazing! I have wanted to learn to code for a long time but always felt it would be too hard as I am not from a tech background. After attending the free coding class I decided to do it and join the beginners workshop. The way Matt explains things makes it so accessible and less scary. I initially joined SheCodes with the view to learn some basics so I could communicate better with our in-house Dev team. Amazing learning experience!
I had an amazing (and challenging!) time on SheCodes React. Building two projects was a really good way of getting to grips with React and its structure, and the component-based approach was helpful in breaking projects down into smaller, manageable tasks. I can't wait to take what I've learned here and apply it to side and portfolio projects!
If I could put into words the three weeks I spent on SheCodes basics. These would be: Incredible, challenging and super fun. Even now, when I look back at all my previous homework and projects, I feel so victorious because it was inconceivable a month ago. After completing SheCodes Basics, I went straight onto completing SheCodes Plus. It has been an amazing journey and I am so proud of what I have accomplished with my end project. Even with a full-time job and three children, I have really looked forward to my evenings of coding. You are never too old to learn new tricks! Onwards!

This 3-week workshop helped me think logically, critically and discover where I went wrong along the process and easily resolve them. I've really enjoyed the course over the last few weeks! I had the most basic level of html knowledge prior to this but it's amazing how much you absorb over just a few hours a week. In doing the final project, I knew what I wanted to do and how I wanted to do it, with very few questions. Of course you have frustrating moments along the way but I found the Slack page incredibly useful (and also validating when other people often had the same questions as me!). I'd definitely recommend.
The past 3 weeks have been an amazing first step into coding. The way that the lessons are followed by a challenge, based on the lesson's content, allows you to learn whilst doing, which is great for absolute beginners like myself. I had never looked at a piece of code properly before this, so learning how to write it has been incredibly rewarding! I loved the flexibility the workshop provides. I was able to spend the first week completing the lessons and spend 2 weeks consolidating what I had learned and work towards my final project. The community and support you're given access to on slack chat is also a huge benefit of this programme. Not only can you access help when you need it, you're also able to share your journey with others. I cannot recommend SheCodes enough!
The basic course was just enough of a challenge, that I'll be back for more! The last three weeks consisted of ups and downs, but very worth it. Anytime, that a challenge arose, the Slack community never let me down. SheCodes is the best an amazing concept to help women in the IT space.
